There are several variations within Christianity, based mainly on sacraments: Sacramental traditions RC, Orthodox, Lutheran, some Anglican More formal, always involves Eucharist. Prayers and recitations are more standard Reformation traditions Baptist, Presbyterian, some Anglican More focus on Scripture readings has a more lengthy sermon Congregational hymn singing is a focus Eucharist is celebrated much less frequently

Many Christian traditions have prayers in their liturgy that are specific to their denomination (e.g. Book of Common Prayer, Lutheran Book of Worship) In Orthodoxy, various versions of Divine Liturgy exist, and their use varies from country to country. (e.g. The Divine Liturgies of St John Chrysostom and St Basil are the most common Orthodox liturgies) Orthodox liturgies consist of a Proskomedia (or preparation of the gifts, before the beginning of the liturgy), the Liturgy of the Catechumens (or The Word) and the Liturgy of the Faithful (Eucharist)
