PROGRAMMEEDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES1. To provide students with solid foundation in mathematics and fundamentals of Electronics and

Telecommunication Engineering.

2. To prepare students to analyze and solve real life problems

3. To inculcate professional and ethical attitude and good communication skills among students

4. To develop social awareness among students

PROGRAMME OUTCOMESGraduates will be able to

PO1. Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science,engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution ofcomplex engineering problems.[Engineering knowledge] PO2. Identify, formulate, research literature, and analysecomplex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using firstprinciples of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.[Problem analysis]PO3. Design solutions for complexengineering problems and design system components or processes that meetthe specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health andsafety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.[Design/development of solutions]PO4. Use research-basedknowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis andinterpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide validconclusions.[Conduct investigations of complex problems]PO5. Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques,resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction andmodelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of thelimitations. [Modern tool usage]PO6. Vision and Mission of the Electronics Engineering department

VISION:

To impart quality education to create professionally competent and socially aware electronics engineers to meet real life challenges in competitive global environment.

MISSION:

To provide the basic foundation of electronics engineering to develop innovative, disciplined and ethical engineers.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

1. To provide students with knowledge of basic sciences in general and electronics engineering in particular

2. To prepare students with skills and competence to identify and solve electronics engineering problems3. To inculcate in the students a sense of ethics, professionalism and ability to relate engineering issues to

broader social context.

ProgramOutcomes (PO):

Graduates will be able to

1. Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.[Engineering knowledge]

2. Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.[ Problem analysis]

3. Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations. [Design/development of solutions]

4. Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions. [ Conduct investigations of complex problems]

5. Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations. [ Modern tool usage]
