Business and Fun Mix Well at the Annual Holiday LuncheonMore than 250 people gathered at the Argosy Casino for the Electric League Holiday Luncheon. During the reception, The Magic Dude entertained many with his illusions and tricks … people are still wondering, “How did he do that?” Two barrels filled with canned goods were donated to Harvesters. Our thanks to the many members who donated door prizes to be given away throughout the luncheon. American Electric – Riverside sponsored the grand prize, $500 drawing. Kirk Karhoff drew the winner! During the luncheon the Electric League approved a bylaws amendment and elected the 2020 board of directors. Dennis Jarman of Graybar, 2019 President passed the gavel to 2020 President Mark Bishop, C&O Sales. After lunch, more than 100 attended a Happy Hour at 99 Hops House. ABB and Graybar served as the event sponsors for the Happy Hour. The Electric League thanks all the members, sponsors and participants who helped make 2019 a year to re-member. We look forward to a prosperous 2020 and a successful Electric League Expo, April 28.
