Within the Department of International Business (DIB) there is already substantiated
knowledge of cross-border business processes. With the foundation of the International
Management Institute (IMI) the existing competences and resources are being
concentrated and its profile is being sharpened to the stakeholders. The DIB advises
companies on developing internationalization and market entry strategies, on leadership,
and on conflict resolution in a multicultural environment. The department has four regional
competence centers:
