Developmental Plan
HOW? REFLECT!
Continuously grow & improve my teaching craft. Be Innovative in
Teaching!
Ask while prepping/while lecturing/after class: Did LEARNING take PLACE?
I'm really excited as 2 this space. I witness how my students understand/question me. I feel more confident with ‘difficult’ content & love the challenge of staying informed on my students age group/way of thinking and learning. Hope 2 do this for many more years!
Ensure learning happens with each individual student
Go UNPLUGGED (no technology/handouts) explain concept, test understanding & recall
WHOW – will keep on using this.. Students responded positively and I can pinpoint if EVERYONE is on board or not.
Continue blended learning approach
Mix of PowerPoint, group activities, individual feedback, white board work, live www access
I just love this, and getting smarter on Using the Applicable method at the Right Time/with the Right content
Continue to communicate effectively with my students
Use Twitter, Emails and VC sms system Twitter didn’t work, students don’t respond and when they do, its at the oddest time of night. Emails work like a charm, and I can reference all previous communicate, deadlines and commitments. Sms via HOD, also worked well.
More written feedback to my students
Attend rubric workshop, Design applicable rubrics and give more detail feedback
PEMA : worked well with essay feedback, especially with 3 re-submissions. PDMA : worked well for students to view where they got/lost marks. From normal 6 enquiries, I now only got 1!

I remember you said i have to have a reference page/ bibliography. Does this need to be a proper report with a table of contents etc? And what more do I need to change that you think will get me better marks? Whether it be the wording or the layout. For some questions, eg. question 7 (the evaluation forms that we used to monitor performance) they are all in the beginning of my report, I don't need to put them in 2ce, hey? If they are in, they dont need to be put in another place in the report to correspond with the actual questions of the report? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Eike Truter <[email protected]> Mon, Oct 8, 2012 at 10:38 AM To: Kaylie Hart <[email protected]>

Does this need to be a proper report with a table of contents etc? Yes, include bibliography, as well as intext reference where applicable. A Table of content is always a good idea, as it leans toward being more professional And what more do I need to change that you think will get me better marks? Whether it be the wording or the layout.Remember the main focus of the assignment : To show how you MANAGED people effectively and what youve LEARNED from the experience. So - ask yourself if your assignment ANSWERS to these Objectives well enough? For some questions, eg. question 7 (the evaluation forms that we used to monitor performance) they are all in the beginning of my report, I don't need to put them in 2ce, hey? If they are in, they dont need to be put in another place in the report to correspond with the actual questions of the report? The actual place is not my concern, but rather that the content of your assignment FLOWS and make SENSE. So just see to this.
