summer camp Summer camp is a time-honored tradition for kids. Whether it’s an all-day camp or cabin sleepaway, kids can get out of the house, learn new skills, and make friends. Parents who send their kids off to camp should be sure to research the camp and the counselors who will be watching their kids. If your child is going to sleep-away camp, check in by phone or mail regularly. Ask questions and ensure that your child is safe and cared for at any camp. Lucas 9,18-24Un día en que Jesús, acompañado de sus discípulos, había ido a un lugar solitario para orar, les preguntó: "¿Quién dice la gente que soy yo?" Ellos contestaron: "Unos dicen que eres Juan el Bautista; otros, que Elías, y otros, que alguno de los antiguos profetas que ha resucitado". Él les dijo: "Y ustedes, ¿quién dicen que soy yo?" Respondió Pedro: "El Mesías de Dios". Él les ordenó severamente que no lo dijeran a nadie. Después les dijo: "Es necesario que el Hijo del hombre sufra mucho, que sea rechazado por los ancianos, los sumos sacerdotes y los escribas, que sea entregado a la muerte y que resucite al tercer día".Luego, dirigiéndose a la multitud, les dijo: "Si alguno quiere acompañarme, que no se busque a sí mismo, que tome su cruz de cada día y me siga. Pues el que quiera conservar para sí mismo su vida, la perderá; pero el que la pierda por mi causa, ése la encontrará".

y promoción de la santidad de la vida humana, el cimiento de todos los demás derechos humanos. Pedimos por la renovación de nuestro compromiso para construir una comunidad donde cada vida humana es bienvenida y deseada, valorada y defendida, desde la concepción hasta la muerte natural. Pedimos

o uno de varios días o meses en una cabaña, los niños pueden dejar la casa, aprender nuevas capacidades, y hacer amistades. Los padres de familia que envían a sus hijos a estos campamentos deben asegurarse de investigar el

campamento y a los consejeros que estarán cuidando a sus hijos. Si su hijo/hija va a ir a un campamento de varios días, llame y escriba correos
