Record all activities into daily plans, insure correct days & time slots.

Write in daily homework time for each day of the week.

Allow additional time for tests & quizzes.

Best to begin with more difficult subjects.

Time should be spent with each subject each night.

Keep your schedule in your binder, update as needed.

Before you read, Survey the chapter

Read titles, headings, subheads, introduction, chapter review, summary, questions at end.

When you begin to ReadRead carefully, special attention to boldfaced / italicized words.

Recite after each sectionCheck for gaps in knowledge, reread parts not clear.

Listening Habits Inventory

1. I’m in my seat & ready to listen soon after the bell rings.

2. I don’t do other things while the teacher is talking.

3. I don’t talk with friends while the teacher is talking.

4. I listen carefully to directions.

5. I ask questions when I don’t understand directions or other information the teachers present.

Two (2) points if ALWAYS, One (1) point if SOMETIMES, Zero (0) points if NEVER
