DAY 3 - THURSDAY 28 JUNE Field Trip to Different Sites Illustrating Risk Management in Planted Forests

08h15 Depart from hotel by bus and travel to Santa Luzia’s funicular in Viana do Castelo

09h30 Arrive at Pousada de Viana do Castelo (welcome session)

11h00 Arrive at Serra de Santa Luzia Forest (Site 1: forest fire prevention)

12h00 Arrive in Freixieiro de Soutelo (Site 2: Forest Intervention Zone (ZIF) and property structure)

13h00 Lunch

14h00 Arrive in Riba de Âncora (Site 3: Community Forest – post fire measures)

16h30 Arrive in Sistelo village (Site 4: forest prevention and landscape and biodiversity management)

20h00 Dinner at Ponte de Lima
