using the same amount of force, is a projectile of a larger mass more likely to be more lethal or clean?

Procedure1. Measure Shooting

Distance (25 ft.)

2. Set up shooting rig at distance

3. Clean air gun

testing Test each projectile (on

same piece of gel) with Daisy and Gamo

Gather results

Results and ConclusionI concluded that the projectile with the larger mass effected a greater area but did not penetrate as deep. I personally would take more surface area over deeper penetration based

because shooting a pellet with a larger mass automatically increases the size of your kill zone. If I had a more reliable shot it might be an intelligent thought to try a projectile that would penetrate deeper.
