REFRIGERATION LUBRICANTS

Ultra-Ice Series: Synthetic Refrigeration lubricants (PAG)The Ultra-Ice Series oils are 100% synthetic refrigeration lubricants formulated with premium polyalkylene glycol (PAG) base oils. The Ultra-Ice Series is designed for a wide variety of automotive aftermarket air conditioning applications with R-134A. It is important in automotive air conditioning systems that the lubricant has adequate solubility in the refrigerant (R-134A). PAG lubricants were chosen for use in all new R-134A systems and are further recommended by all major car manufacturers for use when retrofitting R-12 vehicles with R-134A. Our state-of-the-art additive technology allows us to blend premium quality PAG refrigeration oils with outstanding solubility and stability.

Ultrachem R-AB Series: Dialkylbenzene Synthetic Refrigeration lubricantsUltrachem R-AB Series oils are high performance, full synthetic refrigeration compressor oils specially designed to meet the stringent requirements of most modern refrigeration and air conditioning systems from major equipment manufacturers. These oils are formulated from the highest quality dialkyl benzene base fluids and provide excellent protection against oxidation degradation, wear, rust & corrosion. Ultrachem R-AB oils are specifically designed for refrigeration systems using non-hydroflurocarbon refrigerants such as R-11, R-12, R-13B1, R-22, R-113, R-500, R-501, R-502, R-717 (Ammonia – NH3).

Ultrachem R-POE Series: Synthetic Refrigeration lubricants (POE)Ultrachem RPOE Series oils are full synthetic lubricants based on high performance polyol ester (POE) technology. These oils have been designed specifically for use in demanding refrigeration systems and are compatible with both HCFC and HFC refrigerants including R-134a. These lubricants are available in a range of ISO 22 to ISO 220.

Ultrachem R-PAO Series: Synthetic Refrigeration lubricants (PAO)Ultrachem R-PAO Refrigeration Oils are fully synthetic premium performance lubricants developed for use in rotary screw compressors in refrigeration service compressing ammonia, methyl chloride or carbon dioxide. They are wax free, synthesized hydrocarbon polyalphaolefin (PAO) fluids, which have outstanding resistance to thermal/oxidative degradation. They are formulated with a carefully balanced additive package to provide long service life, excellent deposit control, protection against rust and corrosion. Naturally high shear stability, high viscosity index and excellent low temperature fluidity allow these oils to perform in severe service conditions that are beyond the capabilities of conventional mineral oils.

Ultrachem R-PAO oils are fully miscible with conventional mineral oils, but any mixture with mineral oils may detract from the superior performance properties of the synthetic product. They are not recommended for use with chlorinated hydrocarbons (CFCs), fluorinated hydrocarbons or sulphur dioxide.
