THE ONLY INDONESIAN DRILLING COMPANY THAT PROVIDES ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE DRILLING SERVICES FOR EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION COMPANIES

PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (�Apexindo�/the �Company�) is an Indonesian drilling contractor providing both onshore and offshore drilling services to oil, conventional natural gas, coal bed methane and geothermal exploration and production companies. Established in 1984, Apexindo has demonstrated high quality performance to become a company that always enhances its commitment to excellence. This consistent performance resulted in a longstanding and strong partnership with its clients, most of which are the well-known energy companies, such as Total E&P Indonesie, VICO Indonesia, and Pertamina.

In order to support the Company's expansion in the capital intensive oil and gas industry, in 2002 Apexindo performed Initial Public Offering, and was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange or IDX with APEX as its ticker. Apexindo proudly became the �rst domestic drilling contractor to be listed on the stock exchange.

To provide maximum value to all stakeholders, Apexindo has obtained the certi�cation of ISO 9001:2000 in Quality Management Systems in 2005, and upgraded it into three certi�cations of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 in 2011.

Apexindo is proud to be a leading drilling company in the region by operating three jack up rigs, four swamp barge rigs, eight onshore rigs, and one Floating Production Storage and Of�oading (FPSO) vessel.

Apexindo's strong commitment in providing a safe working environment for its crews requires the Company to set high

standards of Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSHE). The Company manages to constantly record lower rate of Lost Time

Incident, compared to other members of International Association of Drilling Contractor (IADC) for Asia Paci�c as shown on

The Management of Apexindo believes the high standard of QSHE could be maintained through well-developed human

resources. Every person has to obtain suf�cient SHE education and training in order to increase awareness and knowledge,

hence creating a safe working culture. In relation to that, the Company takes stringent control over its human resources

quality by maintaining and updating their competencies through certi�cations.

During its 30+ years of service, Apexindo has extensive drilling experiences and has drilled thousand of wells in offshore and

onshore segments. The drilling locations are spread across Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua, making Apexindo understands

the challenges and the dynamics of Indonesia drilling industry.

Apexindo has also gone through various drilling project in overseas, such as Brunei Darussalam and the United States and

was globally recognized for its quali�ed services by sealing cooperation with Total Abu Al-Bukhoosh in Middle East.

Apexindo also takes the lead by becoming a pioneer to offer coal bed methane (CBM) and geothermal drilling services in

Indonesia.

Since 1992, Apexindo has cemented a long and solid footing in Delta Mahakam area. For one notable international energy

company, Total E&P Indonesie, Apexindo has been working closely for over 20 years, creating a solid trust and mutual

partnership.

Apexindo has been awarded numerous recognitions by its clients during its operations. For instance, Mahakam Award for

High Risk Drilling Contractor category from Total E&P Indonesie, rate A in Contractor Health Environment and Safety

Management from Chevron IndoAsia Business Unit, and many more.

Standing out as the only national drilling contractor who owns and/or operates offshore �eet, Apexindo is proud of its approximately 1,500 workforce most of which are Indonesian, providing a high local content.

Through its human capital development program, Apexindo consistently maintains and enhances the competencies of its senior drilling crews, ensuring that they meet the certi�cations required by the International Association of Drilling Contractors and/or International Well Control Forum.

Apexindo creates a continuous supply of its own pool of talent through the Apexindo Training Centre; an education and training facility targeted to fresh graduates from local universities across Indonesia, creating quali�ed human resources in oil and gas industry to support the Company's development plans.

In addition, Apexindo also provides continuous training to all employees to further nurture the culture of awareness and emphasis on safety, health and environment.

EXCELLENT RELIABILITY OF THE FLEET BY HAVING STRINGENT ROUTINE SCHEDULES FOR REFURBISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE

Apexindo Management believes excellent maintenance systems over the Company's assets play an important role in

assuring excellent performance. To ensure routine and periodic maintenance and inspections on all rig equipments are

recorded and maintained, the Company develops a stringent Preventive Maintenance Systems (PMS) program. This

program allows regular visual inspection by the �eld maintenance personnel and is followed by a physical inspection.

Moreover, Apexindo also involves external parties for a more stringent inspection and profound maintenance over rig

equipments.

Aside from a stringent maintenance program, Apexindo also �nds the importance of warehouse facility to support drilling

operation. With total area of 12.4 hectare, the Company's warehouses are spread over strategic locations such as

Bojonegara, Sandi Jaya, Badak, and Handil, where each of the warehouse implements an inventory system that is aimed for a

better identi�cation, maintenance, supervision, and control over the Company's inventory of parts and supplies. In order to

provide a 24/7 support to operations, Apexindo initiates a centralized warehouse system as a backbone facility for transfer of

spare parts supplies and equipments before being delivered to the rigs as required.

Stringent refurbishment and maintenance ensure excellent performance of drilling operations.

ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT AS THE MAIN GOALS OF THE COMPANY'S CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Apexindo's CSR activities are conducted through local community empowerment which was formed by Apexindo since we believe the local community understands their own needs. As the �rst step of the program, the Company started a social mapping to create a well-targeted and sustainable program which can bring bene�ts to community.

In environmental sector, Apexindo has planted and maintained 90.000 mangroves in Banten Bay, Serang, Banten, West Java since 2006 to this day. For the efforts given, Mayor of Serang and Regency of Serang Banten awarded recognition to Apexindo, in 2012 and 2014.

In health sector, the Company has conducted free medical treatment and mass circumcision in Kampung Baketor and Solor Lor, Margagiri village, Bojonegara, Banten. A total of 900 persons came from different locations got free medical treatment and examination in collaboration with local health center (Puskesmas).

On the other hand, supporting educational and religious CSR programs, the Company has built school building of SDN 001 Saliki complete with library, computer laboratory, as well as musholla in Saliki village, Muara Badak, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan since 2008. Through such construction activities, Apexindo hopes to create a youth generation with good and noble characteristics, to become future leaders.
