A. Nowadays the greater part of the homes in Spain is developed for an outdatedfamily model, in which there was an average of between 2 and 4 children.The tendency mark a preponderancy of households with few members, a factthat will become worse and widespread in the coming years.
B. In Spain exists, at least, 18.000.000 rooms are unoccupied. The estimatedaverage of the maintenance cost of a unoccupied room is 200 € per year.The excess cost supported by households are 2.520€ million per year, thatmeans a significant economic burden to their owners.
