GUIDELINES FOR WRITING THE ASSIGNMENTS

As you kaow the various questions are based on different block(s) of the course on poetry. Soonafler you have read the relevant block(s) answer the question relevant to thatlthose blocks(s).This will help you test and digest the material you have studied.

You may benefit by organizing your ideas before writing out your answer. One of the simpleways of rsrganizing an essay or a talk is to say what you are going to say; say it; and then saywhat you have said. Obviously the idea is to have a short introductory section to every essay

type question to be succeeded by a fairly lengthy (5 to 7 paragraphs) discussion on the mainpoints and to be summed up briefly in a concluding paragraph at the end. Try this methcd and

see how it rryorks"

Tr5z to send a neat answer script to your study Centre. If necessary, prepare a fresh draft forsubmission. I'his will ensure that your Counselor will be able to give you some guide-lines forimprovement.

Once you receive your Counselor's comments read them carefully and if possible diseuss themwith him/her. It is also very helpful if you interact with your peer group following this course.Hope everything works out well and you find the work exciting and rewarding.
