Background

The role of technology in education is not restricted to the use of technological tools in learning. Instead, it concerns an array of tools applicable to both hardware and software to facilitate the learning processes. Thus, any facility which enables students to achieve the learning objectives easier, better, and faster should involve such an educational technology.

Target Participants

Theme

Considering the fast development of educational technology

studies and practices in Indonesia, it is important to bring an

international conference on educational technology to Indonesia.

For that purpose, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) in

collaboration with Universitas Terbuka (UT), Universitas

Pendid ikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA) and Univers i tas

Mahendradatta will host a world conference: “Educational

Technology World Conference” (ETWC) 2016 in Bali. This

event is supported by the Association of Educational and

Communication Technology (AECT) USA.

We invite teachers, lecturers, educational practitioners, observers

of education, teachers and community leaders having interest in

education. We are expecting to have more than 500 participants

from various institutions to attend the conference and more than

300 papers presented.

Other participants coming from non-pedagogic institutions, such

as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Research, Science and

Higher Education and their respective implementing units, are

also welcome.

Academic Guidelines

Deadline for abstract submission(paper and poster presentations) 15 November 2015

Notification of abstract acceptance (paper and poster presentations) 15 December 2015

Deadline for full paper submission* 15 February 2016

Deadline for early bird registration 1 April 2016

Deadline for online registration 15 June 2016

• Full papers received after 15 February 2016 will NOT be published in the Conference Proceedings.

• Participants who fail to meet the deadline will NOT be scheduled for presentation.

Important Dates

• The review board from the host committee in collaboration with AECT will select 4 best papers. They will receive certificates and tokens of appreciation from the host and co-hosts of ETWC (AECT, UT, UNDIKSHA and Universitas Mahendradatta).

• The review board and AECT will also select qualified papers. These qualified papers will be further reviewed prior to their publication on the international journal or on a book published by an international publisher in USA. This whole process will be conducted in a cooperation with AECT.
