This full day is VERY interactive! You will work alone, in pairs, and in table groups to think about your school and it's future. Vision is about a future, a better tomorrow for your school.

1. VISION (Giving Direction) Having a dream, a view, a vision of a better school Defining and working towards a better quality of

education for your community Having a vision which is clear, written down, shared

with and agreed with by all including staff, SMC, parents

Remember, Gandhi SAW a better future for his country, he had a VISION

You must become an Education Leader As an Education Leader you have ONE mission:

To develop Quality Education in your school As an Education Leader, your job is to provide your

Community with: A description of that Quality Education A plan for achieving it

This is a Vision So let's first define Quality Education

1. Now sit with your school colleague

2. Swap notebooks and look at each others vision notes

3. Now take one of my Vision Documents and start to fill it in

4. Note how each section should be written, there is one example in each section

5.Take your time, use the time wisely, you are learning AND working to develop your school as you do this activity
