1.) Speak to Tony and order a large pizza, half supreme (peppers, onions, mushrooms, & olives) and half sausage, pepperoni, and peppers.

a.) If a large pizza is cut into 8 slices, what fraction of the pizza will have:-Sausage?-Onions?-Pepper?

b.) What is the probability of choosing a slice with:-Olives?

*Draw a pizza, divide, and label to help find your answer*

Captain Charlie’s

2.) Captain Charlie’s is famous for their Clam Chowder. If they cook 3 gallons of clam chowder each night, how many customers can they serve at 1 cup per person? Ask for Linda. She’ll show you their 3 gallon pot as well as their serving cups. Make an estimate, then solve. How close were you?

(*HINT- Solve for 1 Gallon first using the chart*) 1 Gallon

Church Street Coffee Co.5.) Ask for Charles, and each of you may order an ice cream cone with a single scoop of ice cream of your choice. a.) What two shapes make up these treats? b.) Are they two dimensional or three dimensional? Why do you think so? c.) Compare and contrast the two different shapes, using the characteristics we’ve learned in class.

Draw a Venn Diagram to help represent your data.

You could also mention what each shape makes when you

cut it down the middle.
