Student Orientation Programme

On the 15th of August, we commemorated our 73rd Independence Day, a proud moment in our country’s history where we all rise above religion, caste and creed to come together as Indians. That day, many people also celebrated Raksha Bandhan - a festival which renews ties of respect and care. Both these celebrations stress the place that love and unity play in our lives.

We are a multi-cultural society and in our college we try and foster genuine acceptance of people of all faiths. We seek opportunities for our students to stretch their minds and hearts beyond limits, and to build spiritual values that lead to a harmonious existence. We see ourselves as one big family, where all Indians are united in a spirit of brotherhood and mutual respect.

Preparing the students to be better citizens is our aim. We earnestly hope that our multi-cultural, multi-faith campus will help our students imbibe secular values as upheld by our constitution. Respect for others, and acceptance of other beliefs is at the heart of Jesuit educational philosophy. The month of August is a good time to remember that and work towards it, hand-in-hand.
