Inauguration Of B.Ed. Session (2015-2017)-cum- Celebration Of Van-Mahotsav
On 25-08-2015 B.Ed. Session 2015-17 was started by celebrating Van Mahotsav.
Sh. Manjit Singh Chairman of college management committee was the Chief Guest on
this occasion. Secretary Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and
college staff were present in the programme. Principal and college staff welcomed pupil
teachers. Principal of the college oriented students with B.Ed. syllabus and told them the
importance of discipline in life. Also the teacher wise subjects were announced by the
Principal. All the committee members, Principal of the college, staff members and
students participated in plantation and everyone have taken the responsibility of caring
their own plant. The coordinator Mrs. Sunita Dutta made a small brief on plantation,
how the plants helps human being and it is everyone’s responsibility to save forests. At
last the programme was ended with National Anthem.
Guest Talk on NAAC Accreditation
A guest talk on Role of National Assessment and Accreditaion council was
organized by Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil
Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on 03-09-2015 for the benefit of teacher as well as
students. In this talk Dr. O.P. Bhardwaj, Principal of “DDM Sai College of Education,
Kallar, Nadaun” emphasized the various aspect related to NAAC. He explained that
NAAC was established in 1994 as an autonomous institution of UGC. NAAC is advised by
advisory committees constituted time to time. NAAC primarily focuses on Assessment of
the quality of Higher Education Institution. The major contributions of NAAC is the

promotion of IQAC resulting in building a quality culture. NAAC has seven criteria for
assessment. The seven criteria represent the core function and activities of an
institution NAAC uses the same frame work across the country. At the end for ensuring
the accuracy data the peer team report the head of the institution. The final CGPA is
submitted to NAAC for further processing. Guest lecture was ended with vote of thanks
by coordinator.
Teacher’s Day Celebration
On the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishanan, Teacher’s
day was celebrated on 04th September 2015 in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education,
Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) Event was
inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman, Secretary of management committee
Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur and staff members. Pupil teachers presented cultural events
like Saraswati Vandana, Solo Song, Solo Dance, Group Song, Group Dance and Musical
Chair. Chief Guest Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman said that Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was an
educated social worker and philosopher. Teacher is the nation builder and he helps in
development of society and nation. Secretary of management committee Sh. Kulbir
Singh Thakur, Smt. Indresh Kumari and college staff were presented in the event. At last
the event was ended with National Anthem.
Celebration of International Literacy Day
International Literacy Day was celebrated on 8th September 2015 in Raj
Rajeshwari College of Education, Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar,
District Hamirpur(H.P.), by organizing slogan writing competition in which B.Ed.

students participated by writing slogans related to literacy. After that Ist, 2nd and 3rd
position were elected. A Rally was also organized to create awareness among the
community by B.Ed. students of Raj Rajeshwari College of Education. They started their
journey from college passing village chorab, Bhota. Slogan’s related to literacy were
cited by students. After rally the pupil teachers aware the community by going door to
door.
Hindi Diwas Celebration
Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil
Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) celebrated 14th September 2015 as Hindi Diwas.
Programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Tirath Ram Sharma. On this occasion
cultural programme and speech competition were organized by pupil teachers. In
speech, Sonika, Anju Sharma, Nitika, Vinti, Savita and manju Bala presented their views
on importance of Hindi Diwas and pupil teachers share their views with staff members.
On this occasion secretary of Raj Rajeshwari Education Society Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur,
Principal of the College Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman, coordinator Smt. Sunita Dutta and
college staff were present. A guest talk on role of teacher and importance of Hindi
language in education was organized Tirath Ram Sharma(Chief Educator, HIM Academy,
Hamirpur) emphasized the role of teacher and Hindi language in education. He
explained how we can honourd socially, economically and politically by education. A
teacher should have a complete knowledge of language as well as his own subject.
To affect our education system a teacher should have knowledge of other
languages beside their own language. Role of teacher is very important in education. A
teacher should have desire for knowledge. At the end of programme the coordinator
Mrs. Sunita Dutta thanks Chief guest for sharing his valuable knowledge.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
The ‘Jan Chetna Club’ of Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Village
Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) organized a rally
under the theme ‘ Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ on the occasion of ‘Gandhi Jayanti’ on 02-10-
2015. The staff and students of the college actively participated in the rally. The
villagers assured to students that they will always try to keep their houses and
surroundings totally clean. Apart from rally ‘The Slogan Writing Competition’ was also
organized which was inter house and result was prepared by inter house evaluation.
Management of the college also participated actively in the rally. The rally was ended
with the vote of thanks by Principal of college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman.
Guest Talk on IQAC Internal Quality Assurance Cell
A guest talk on IQAC was organized by Raj Rajeshwari College of Education
Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on 05th October
2015 for the benefit of teachers as well as students. The main theme of this talk was to
discuss the various aspect of IQAC. In this talk Dr. Kuldeep Singh Chandel, Principal of
SVN PG College of Education, Tarkwari, District Hamirpur(H.P.) emphasized the various
aspect related to IQAC. He explained that the main aim of IQAC is to develop a system
for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and
administrative performance of the institution. IQAC ensuring timely, efficient and
progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial talks. IQAC acting as
a model agency of the institution. In every institution IQAC may constituted under the
chairmanship of head of the institution with heads of important academic and
administrative units. At last Guest Lecture was ended with vote of thanks by Mrs.
Meenakshi Soni convener of IQAC.
Guest Talk on Importance & Relevance of P3Y in Human Life
A Guest talk was organized by Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Village
Chorab(Mansui) on Importance & Relevance of P3Y in Human Life. On 13th October
2015 retired Executive Engineer, NHPC & Smt. Veena Sharma emphasized the
importance of P3Y in Human Life. P3Y i.e. ‘Param Papre Paramyog’ have two benefits,
Physically & Metally and it helps in mental satisfaction and decision making power can
be developed by P3Y. Also it helps in development of memory power of students. They
explained that P3Y is a scientific way to control the sufferings of life. Mrs. Veena Sharma
told the student that how we can be healty by P3Y. They explained that P3Y gives

success in every failure. It also helps in increasing I.Q. level. At last Guest lecture was
ended with vote of thanks by coordinator Mrs. Asha Devi.
Celebration of UNO Day on Human Rights
UNO day on occasion of Human Rights was celebrated by Raj Rajeshwari College
of Education, Bhota on 28th October 2015. A debate competition was organized on this
occasion. Programme was inaugurated by Secretary of Raj Rajeshwari Education Society
Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur. Pupil teachers put on their thoughts on different topics like
(i) Conservation of Human Rights in Indian Constitution.
(ii) Effect of universalization on Human Rights.
(iii) Role of media in protection of Human Rights.
(iv) How much it is right to have mercy killing in Human Rights.
(v) How much it is right to pass the students up to 08th class.
After debate on these topics the result was announced. Vinti Thakur from Vyas House
got 1st Position, Sunita Devi from Satluj House got 2nd position and Anju Kumari from
Chinab House got 3rd position. Principal of the college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman
congratulates the winner participants.
Guest Talk on Human Values & Ethics
A guest talk on Role of Human Values & Ethics was organized by Raj Rajeshwari
College of Education Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District
Hamirpur(H.P.) on 29th October 2015 Assistant Professor of Law Department in Career
Point University Miss Aditi Thakur explained Human Values in life. Values always take
human life from depth to height. Values is a part of life. She explained five types of
values, Truth, Love, Non-Violence, Peace, Good Conduct. Values started from family &
from family we accept them in our life. Positive conduct always uplifts the human being.
So our conduct should be good because a good conduct helps in formation of effective
and positive Humanity. At last guest talk was ended with vote of thanks by convenor of
the programme Mrs. Sunita Dutta.
Housewise Rangoli Competition
A house wise Rangoli competition was organized on the occasion of Diwali
Festival by Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota,
Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on 10th November 2015. Pupil teachers

participated in this competition in which 1st position was hired by Vyas House and 2nd
position by Chinab House. Chairman of the college management committee Sh. Manjit
Singh Dogra gave his wishes to pupil teachers and said that these type of festivals helps
in awareness of brotherhoodness and patriotism. Secretary of management committee
Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur, Member Smt. Indresh Kumari, Principal of the college Dr. Raj
Kumar Dhiman, coordinator Smt. Sunita Dutta, college staff and pupil teachers were
present in this event.
Celebration of Children’s Day-cum-National Education Day
The National Education Day was celebrated in Raj Rajeshwari College of
Education, Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on
19th November 2014 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Smt. Indira Gandhi by
organizing various competitions on theme related to current challenges in our
education system. The event was started with an essay writing competition in which the
pupil teachers participated and got Ist, 2nd and 3rd positions. After that cultural
programme was presented. Chief Guest Smt. Arvinder Kaur Rani lightened the life span
of Smt. Indira Gandhi, how hard worker and courageous lady she was.
Organization of World AIDS Week
Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Village Chorab (Mansui) organized World
AIDS week under Red Ribbon Club on 01-12-2015. A rally was organized on this event
from village Mansui to Bhota regarding AIDS awareness. Chairman of the management
committee Sh. Manjit Singh Dogra inaugurated the rally. Pupil teachers aware the
people of different slogans & by this mean, they aware people that AIDS is a serious
disease and how to protect themselves from this serious disease. On this occasion
‘NUKKAR NATAK’ was organized by pupil teachers under ‘JAN CHETNA CLUB’ on AIDS
awareness. The ‘JAN CHETNA CLUB’ of Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota
organized two ‘NUKKAR NATAK’ and presented before villagers. Through these
activities the students aware the people about cure of this dangerous disease. The
principal of college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman also appreciated the students & admired
their kind effort on the behalf of institution.

Mini Seminar
A mini seminar was organized on the theme “Human Rights : Consitutional
Provisions and Enforcement” at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Village
Chorab(Mansui) on 10-12-2015. The Chief Guest of this mini seminar was Dr. Raj Kumar
Dhiman, Principal, Raj Rajeshwari College of Education. The chief Resource person of
seminar were Mrs. Asha Devi, Mrs. Meenakshi Soni, Mrs. Sunita Dutta & Mrs. Reena
Heera. In this seminar, all the pupil teachers participated actively and presented their
papers. Seminar was divided in two technical sessions and Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman &
Mrs. Asha Devi acted as Chairpersons. Mrs. Meenakshi Soni gave the vote of thanks and
programme was ended with National Anthem.
ICSSR Sponsored Two-Day National Seminar
ICSSR sponsored two-day National Seminar on the Theme “Academic and
Administrative Audit of Teacher Education Institutions : Need of the Hour” was
organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil
Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on 22nd and 23rd December 2015. The Chief Guest of the
inauguration was Professor Nain Singh, H.P. University, Shimla(H.P.). The resource
person of the seminar on dated 22nd December 2015 were Dr. Sandeep Berwal, Dr.
Vimal Kishor, and Sh. T.R. Sharma. Various participants all over the country participated
actively and presented their papers under various subthemes. The seminar was divided
in two sessions i.e. Planary Session and Thematic Session. A cultural eve was also
celebrated on evening of 22nd December 2015. Chief guest of this event was Dr. Paras
Nath Sharma. On this eve the cultural events like Group Song, Group dance, skit and

poem were presented by pupil teachers. Chief Guest praised the students and said that
these types of National Seminars and Cultural events helps in all round development of
the students. On 2nd day 23rd December 2015, Chief Guest of Valedictory session was
professor R.L. Sharma Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Resource persons were
Dr. Kulvinder Singh and Dr. Jayashree Samantray, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman gave
vote of thanks and programme was ended with National-Anthem.

National Youth Day
The birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated as National Youth
Day in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil
Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on 12th January 2016. Professor J.C. Soni from Rajiv
Gandhi University was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The Chief Guest highlighted the
different life style of Swami Vivekananda. IQAC member Sh. Sardari Lal Changra was
also present on this occasion and they said that we should be inspired from life of
Vivekanand. Cultural activities like group song, skit, kulgeet, poem were also organized
on this occasion. Chairman of Raj Rajeshwari Educational Society Sh. Manjit Singh,
Secretary Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur, Member Smt. Indresh Kumari, College Principal Dr.
Raj Kumar Dhiman, Coordinator Smt. Sunita Datta and college staff were present on this
event.
House wise Heena Competition
A house wise Heena Competition was organized by Raj Rajeshwari College of
Education, Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on
19th March 2016. Member Zila Parishad Smt. Arvinder Kaur Rani was the Chief Guest of
Programme. She said that these types of competitions helps to develop the skill and also
are helpful in earning. Teaching Learning process develops our mental level but the Co-
Curricular activities entertains us besides teaching learning. These types of activities
awaken our culture. At last result of Heena competition was announced and 1st position
was bagged by Satluj House, 2nd by Ravi House and 3rd position was bagged by Chinab

Educational Tour
One day free educational tour was organized by management committee of Raj
Rajeshwari Education Society, Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar,
District Hamirpur(H.P.) on 21-04-2016 the religious places Jwalamukhi temple, Maa
Brijeshwari temple, Chamunda Maa & Kangra Fort were main destinations of one day
tour. Principal of college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman said that the educational tour helps the
students to know understand their cultural. Beside education the educational tours
have their own importance. Pupil teachers knew the religious cultural through religious
place and also they knew the history of Mughals, Sikhs & Chauhan hereditaries.
Chairman Sh. Manjit Singh, President Smt. Arvinder Kaur Rani, Secretary Sh. Kulbir
Singh Thakur, Member Smt. Indresh Kumari, College Staff & Coordinator Mrs. Sunita
Datta accompanied the students.
Celebration of No Tobacco Day
A painting Competition on the occasion of ‘World No-Tobacco Day’ was
organized in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota,
Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on 31st May 2016. All students of D.El.Ed.
participated in this competition. The competition was started on 10:30 A.M. and closed
on 12:30 P.M. Chief Guest Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur said that Drug Addiction is the bad
habit and it damages our life. Pupil teachers also show the bad effects of Drugs through
their paintings and they showed in their paintings that every youth should keep a
distance from drugs. College Principal, Member of management committee Smt. Indresh
Kumari and staff were present in this programme. The 1st position in painting
competition was bagged by Reena Devi, 2nd position by Babita Sharma nad 3rd position
was bagged by Ranjna Kumari.

Celebration of Yoga Day
Second International Yoga Day was celebrated in Raj Rajeshwari College of
Education Village Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on
21st June 2016. On this occasion Yoga practice was done by D.El.Ed. students and
Teacher Educators. Yoga Teacher Sh. Gulshan Thakur guided the pupil teacher in
different yoga positions and tell them the importance of yoga in daily life. Principal of
the college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman advised the pupil teachers to accept the yoga in their
life. He said that Yoga makes us healthy as well as it is also helpful in mental peace.
College staff and pupil teachers were also present on this occasion.
FRESHER’S PARTY
A fresher’s party was organized in Raj Rajeshwari College of Education Village
Chorab(Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.) on 22nd June 2016 in
Chairmanship of college management committee. Chief Guest on this occasion was
Chairman Sh. Manjit Singh. Programme was started with Saraswati Bandna and Deep
Prajwalan. Pupil teachers participated in different types of cultural activities like Natti,
Folk Song, Folk Dance, Poem, Group Dance etc. through feeling of competition. In this
competition Mr. fresher & Miss Fresher were elected. Mr. fresher of fresher party was
Rohit Kumar and Miss fresher was Sunali Chauhan. Principal of the college Dr. Raj
Kumar Dhiman gave their blessings for bright future of students. Chairman Sh. Manjit
Singh said that these type of activities are important beside education because these
type of activities helps us to know our cultural and also inculcate the feelings of
competiton. President Smt. Arvinder Kaur Rani, Secretary Sh. Kulbir Singh Thakur,
Member of College Comitte Smt. Indresh Kumari and Amit Sharma were present in this
programme. The coordinator of the programme was Smt. Meenakshi Soni. Chairman Sh.

Manjit Singh honoured Mr. Fresher & Miss Fresher of fresher’s party. At last the
programme was ended with National Anthem.
Guest Talk on Important Constitutional and Legal Provisions for Women in India
A guest talk on important constitutional and legal provisions for women in India
was organized by Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Village Chorab (Mansui), P.O.
Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.)-176041 on 18th February 2016,. Head of
School of Legal studies and Governance in Career Point University, Hamirpur, Dr. Shashi
Poonam explained briefly the Legal Provisions for women in India. She aware the pupil
teachers about different Articles and parts of newly formed constitution and also about
the women rights in constitution. She told that our constitution gave many rights to
women but the rural women are not aware about their rights. Today in this era women
should be aware about their rights so that they cause their rights when needed. Women
rights are divided in two parts legal provision and special law. She told that Section
16,23, 39,42,47 & 53 consists the women rights. Also IPC Section
313,326,354A,354B,354C,354D,372,493 were explained by Dr. Poonam. At last
Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman thanks Dr. Shashi Poonam for giving their valuable
knowledge to pupil teachers on behalf of Raj Rajeshwari Education Society and
honoured them by giving Guest of Honour.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell Meeting
A meeting on IQAC was organized by Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Village
Chorab (Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.)-176041 on 12th
March 2016 under the chairmanship of Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman. The main theme of this
talk was to discuss various agenda points decided in previous meeting. In this meeting
discussions have been made on Research Journal of the college named by Raj
Rajeshwari Journal Psychological & Educational Research. Beside this Research Project,
Extension Services for local community, Blood Donation Camp, Workshop on Art &
Craft, Assembly Hall were the different agenda points of the meeting which have been
discussed in meeting. Among these agenda points some on which action has been taken
are Research Journal in which application for ISSM has been sent to National Science
Library, New Delhi on 29th February, 2016, Blood donation camp which was organized
on 05th April 2016, Workshop on Cartoon making on 08th April 2016 & Art & Craft
Workshop which was organized on 11th April to 13th April 2016.
IQAC Meeting
A meeting on IQAC was organized by Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Village
Chorab (Mansui), P.O. Bhota, Tehsil Barsar, District Hamirpur(H.P.)-176041 on 18th June
2016 under the chairmanship of Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman. Mrs. Meenakshi Soni explained
the proceedings of previous meeting agenda points. The agenda points of the meeting
were introduction of D.El.Ed. course students as IQAC members Champa Kumari and
Jeet Singh. Invitation for fresher’s party by Principal, Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman to all the
IQAC members, Research Journal which has been published in the month of April 2016
& second issue will be published on October 2016, Research project on An Attitude of
Parents towards two years B.Ed. programme, Extension Services for Local Community,
Assembly Hall which will be constructed on top floor. Among these agenda points action
has been taken on some and some are in progress.
