Visitor’s top tips
We cycled to a fascinating cave tour out at Gilmerton Cove.
The Scottish National Museum is fantastic. We visit every time we are in Edinburgh and we still haven’t seen everything.
There is a lovely walk along the river, which is very popular with families and dog walkers. Within 2 miles along this walk is the village of Cramond, a lovely village with a cosy, welcoming pub and lovely river walk.
Would highly recommend the East Fortune Airfield and Museum of Flight.
