With tonnages up to 3,000 and long bed
lengths in addition to the Accell and Edge
series, Accurpress provides a variety of
options for heavy fabricating applications.

facilitate forming oversized material and plate.
In addition to the considerable frames
required for these machines, optional
accessories such as the Titan Backgauge
and Crownable Channel Lock Tooling with
custom tooling packages are available.

ACCURPRESS ACCELL
Delweld Industries in Stoystown, Pa has installed an Accurpress model
598524 Accell series press brake for a wide variety of applications in
their main production plant. A leader in the metal products
manufacturing industry, Delweld is focused on creating high quality
parts while maintaining low production costs.
John Farabaugh, Operations Manager, is involved in forming set up and
initial part runs. He credits the ease of programming and automated
options of the Accell, such as the 6-axis CNC backgauge, synchronized
sheet followers, and Wila tool clamping and crowning systems to making
tasks much more efficient.
“This machine has a relatively fast ram speed and the options that we
added make it very flexible and easy to set up. That is huge, especially
on small runs,” according to Farabaugh.

DELWELD (CONTINUED) Delweld has been using their Accurpress Accell to
fabricate a variety of items including large truck
body support ribs, stainless steel equipment
components, agricultural implement parts, and
items for their institutional furniture product line.
The Accurpress Accell allows Delweld to fulfill their
objectives of completing both large and small tasks
as well as transitioning quickly from job to job.
