Orientation 2/2010
The Orientation for the new students entering in semester 2/2010 was held on October 30, 2010. We have 6 students entering the Ph.D. program; 12 students taking M.Ed. (curriculum and Instruction); and 3 students opting for M.Ed. (Educational Administration). Students are from Belgium, Britain, China, Iran, Korea, Myanmar, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, U.S.A., and Vietnam
International Conference: October 2, 2010
The International Conference organized by the Graduate School of Education, in collaboration with AU, SEMEO and ASAIHL. “NEW DIRECTIONS IN EDUCATION” held at the Hall of fame, Hua-Mak Campus on October 2, 2010. Participants: We had 79 participants from over 10 countries (Cambodia, China, England, India, Ireland, Myanmar, Nigeria, The Philippines, U.S.A and Thailand) and 68 academic paper presenters. The four themes were: * Challenge of Curriculum and Instruction: Constructivism
VS Instructivism * Teaching for the 21st Century: Skills and Knowledge * Challenges for Educational Leadership * Future Demands for Education Administrators

Field Trip 2010 Graduation 2010
TRIP TO SINGAPORE
A Field trip to Singapore was organized from October 12-14, 2010. Thirteen students accompanied with Dr. Wipa Mhunpiew visited four institutes and gained knowledge and insight of the educational system of that country

Trip to Pattaya with New Students
A friendly group of 20 participants enjoyed the two day trip.
On December 5-6, 2010,
students, professors and staff of Graduate School of Education took a trip to Pattaya. The purpose of the trip is not only to gain wonderful experiences but also to bring joy and friendship among all new students and professors. The participants, both students and professors, who participated in this trip, are from Ireland, Canada, Vietnam, Burma, China, Philippines and Thailand.
On the first day, the group visited the Pattaya Floating Market, the biggest man-made floating market in the world. Here, the participants enjoyed shopping for a variety of food and souvenir items and were able to have ideas on Thai culture and heritage from four regions of Thailand.
They then proceeded to Hotel Pattaya Marriot Resort and Spa, where the group stayed overnight. Here, the group had fun and interesting activities which everybody enjoyed doing and actively participated. The food was great and the accommodation was excellent.
Overall, the trip brought enjoyment and a sense of bonding among all.

Student Activity: Last Orientation and New Year Party
English Language Improvement Seminar
This year’s last orientation and New Year Party was held at the Grand Four Wings Convention Hotel, Srinakarin Road. Students, Graduates as well as Alumni joined the festive occasion. The traditional outfits of our international students were worth admiring. We had 15 different nationalities on this occasion celebrating together

Student Activity
30 persons from among our M.Ed. and Ph.D. students as well as faculty members visited the school on February 16, 2011. This activity was organized for our students to get and insight at the educational system in different environments
STUDENT SEMINAR: EA 6232 “INSPIRING, CARING EDUCATIONAL LEADERS ACROSS CULTURES”
Student Seminar conducted by M.Ed. (EA-6232) Seminar in Educational Administration students. Held on February 5, 2011, in the Hall of Fame, 51 people participated. Ajarn. Porntip Kanjananiyot , Executive Director of Fulbright was the guest speaker.
CHINESE TEACHERS TRAINING PROGRAM

The Chinese Teachers Training program was held from January 7 to January 13, 2011. Our faculty members conducted the program specially designed for the group and covered the major aspects of Educational Administration. There were 41 students from China.
SPECIAL TALK A special Talk on Student centered Teaching & Learning Methods was held October 7, 2010 at the Salle De’ Expo. Dr. Richard Lynch our faculty member was the guest speaker. This special Talk was organized by The Academic Affairs.
Delegates from Indonesia
The Delegates from Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta, Indonesia attended our 3rd International Conference, after which they visited our faculty on October 4, 2010. To strengthen relations between the two Universities.

The preparation of Thai private universities on the way forward to ASEAN community
Preservation of Thai Art & Culture
To preserve Thai art and culture our faculty each year conducts various projects to bring awareness among our students who come from various countries and from diverse cultures. This year, Thai etiquette and manners was demonstrated and all 30 participants practiced and learned the authentic Thai tradition. Thai desserts were served to all. This activity was held on February 16, 2011
