Grace Shi

Partner and Co-Founder at ECOVIS

Beijing

Grace has more than 15 years of experience in

accounting, auditing and tax advisory services,

registration of companies to both international

accounting firms and large domestic corporations.

She is highly qualified with an international MBA and

US Global Finance Master degree. Furthermore, she

is a Chinese Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since

2001 and a Chinese Certified Taxation Agent (CTA)

since 2002. Moreover, she is the host of the event

“Investing in Germany” and has recently been

appointed board member of the Benelux Chamber of

Commerce in Beijing. Before joining Ecovis she used

to be the head of a professional firm in Beijing for six

years and financial director of a local company with

more than 1000 employees.

Richard Hoffmann

Partner and Co-Founder at ECOVIS

Beijing

Richard obtained an honor's degree in law in

Germany and worked for various prestigious law

firms in Germany, America and China.

In addition to being member of the board at ECOVIS

International he is Supervisor for theChina business

of a respected German company and shares his

extensive knowledge to students by teaching

commercial law in China at SRH Hochschule

Heidelberg.

Richard has published more than fifty articles in

international magazines, frequently speaks at high

profile events in China and abroad and is often

invited as a legal expert by international TV and

radio stations such as CCTV or Reuters.

Manuela Reintgen

Manager of the Business Development

& Marketing Department at ECOVIS

Beijing

Living and working in China since 2009 and with a

Diploma in Chinese, French and Law, Manuela has

worked for several private and governmental

institutions in both Germany and China. She

focused on foreign direct investment into China in

recent years and advises our clients on all aspects

of establishing and doing business in China.

Manuela is well versed in tax and legal regulations

as well as main challenges and pitfalls SMEs

encounter whilst managing their China entity.

Amanda Liu

Senior Accounting Manager at ECOVIS

Beijing

Amanda has gained nine years of work experience in

professional services for China’s accounting, finance,

internal control and business sectors. Prior to joining

Ecovis, she has worked in a Hong Kong owned

professional financial and tax consulting firm. She has

provided internal control advisory, audit, accounting, tax

and financial compliance as well as financial due

diligence services for both mainland and MNC

enterprises. Clients she served include companies from

real estate, consulting, culture and other sectors.

Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Finance

Management from China Renmin University and is also a

non-executive member of the Beijing Institute of Certified

Public Accountants (CPA).

Heidi Ding

Senior Manager of the Advisory

Department at ECOVIS Beijing

Heidi has more than twelve years of experience in

accounting, auditing, tax advisory services, and

Mergers and Acquisitions for foreign-invested and

multinational companies. Before joining Ecovis, she

had worked in an international consulting firm for six

and a half years and as a financial director with a

foreign-invested manufacturer in Beijing. Ms. Ding

has worked both in-house and as a consultant for

European and American SMEs, and therefore

understands their needs and worries. She has a

degree in finance management from Beijing Jiaotong

University and spent time studying in Sweden.

Elizabeth Shi

Senior Tax Manager at ECOVIS Beijing

Elizabeth has over ten years of working experience in

China’s legal, tax and business field. Prior to joining

Ecovis, she has worked within the Big Four accounting

firms’ tax and business advisory departments. She has

advised companies on various China tax and legal

related matters, including dealing with taxes and other

government authorities. Her expertise covers tax

compliance, restructuring, M&A, tax due diligence,

liquidation and deregistration related tax matters as

well as tax planning for companies and individual

expatriates. Elizabeth started her professional career

as a legal consultant in a prestigious IP firm, working

on foreign direct investment (FDI) and intellectual

Brad Liu is the Legal Manager at ECOVIS Beijing

Office. He has 9 years’ experience in corporate and

legal fields. Prior to joining Ecovis, Brad headed the

Beijing corporate services team of a mid-tier

He has been advising international SMEs from US,

Europe and ASEAN countries etc. in doing business

Ashley is a PRC qualified lawyer and Senior

Beijing. She has a double Bachelor’s degree in law
