FEEDING RELATIONSHIPS
By:Pablo,Daniel .D,Adrian and Mario R.
VOCABULARYAutotrophic= produce their own food
Protoctists= unicellular or multicellular organisms
Heterotrophic = organisms obtaining carbon to growAnd energy from complex organic compounds
PRODUCERS, CONSUMAERS AND
DECOMPOSERS Living organisms need nutrients to survive.They have to interact with the biotopes and with other living things to get them. Depending on their relationships organisms of an ecosystem are classified as producers,comsumers or decomposers.
PRODUCERSProducers are autotrophic organisms. The main producers are plants,algae and some bacteria. They produce their own nutrients through photosynthesis,using water, minerals and carbon dioxide,which they take from biotopes .
Consumers Animals, and some protoctists,are consumers.They are heterotrophic organisims which mean that they need to eat other living things.
There are three types :
CARNIVORES HERBIVORESOmnivores
DECOMPOSERSFungi,and some bacteria,are decomposers.They obtein energy and nutrients by decomposing the remains of other living things.They transform the matter they decompose into substances including water,carbon dioxide and minerals,and release them into the soil, the air or the water.
QUESTIONS?????How can the ecosystems be classified according to the living organisms ?
.• Producers,comsumers or decomposers
How can the producers produce their own food ?
• Through photosynthesis
What do the consumers eat ?
• Other living things.
How decomposers take energy ?• They obtein energy and nutrients by decomposing the remains of other
living things.
THE END
Tell us two examples of producers,two of consumers and twoof decomposers then, say their functions.

What a power point!!!!!
