IL SISTEMA A DOPPIA COMBUSTIONE

La fiamma prodotta dalla legna che brucia correttamente inuna stufa emette la stessa quantità di anidride carbonica (CO

2)

che si sarebbe liberata in seguito alla naturaledecomposizione del legno stesso.

La quantità di CO2 prodotta dalla combustione o

decomposizione di una pianta corrisponde alla quantità diCO2 che la pianta stessa è in grado di prelevare dall’ambientee trasformare in ossigeno per l’aria e carbonio per la pianta,nel corso del suo ciclo di vita.

L’uso di combustibili fossili non rinnovabili (carbone, gasolio,gas), a differenza di quanto avviene con la legna, libera nell’ariaenormi quantità di CO

2 accumulate nel corso di milioni di anni,

aumentando la formazione dell’effetto serra. L’uso della legnacome combustibile, quindi, è in perfetto equilibrio conl’ambiente in quanto viene utilizzato un combustibile rinnovabileed in armonia con il ciclo ecologico della natura.

Il principio della combustione pulita risponde in pieno a questiobiettivi e la Palazzetti vi ha fatto riferimento nella progettazionedei propri prodotti.

Cosa intendiamo per combustione pulita e come avviene?Il controllo e la regolazione di aria primaria e l’immissionedell’aria secondaria provoca una seconda combustione, opost-combustione caratterizzata da una seconda fiamma piùviva e più limpida che si sviluppa al di sopra della fiammaprincipale. Essa, grazie all’immissione di nuovo ossigeno,brucia i gas incombusti migliorando sensibilmente ilrendimento termico e riducendo al minimo le emissioni nocivedi CO (monossido di carbonio) dovute alla combustioneincompleta. È questa una caratteristica esclusiva delle stufe edi altri prodotti PALAZZETTI.

DUAL COMBUSTION SYSTEM

In a fireplace, a correctly burning flame emits the same amountof carbon dioxide (CO

2) as would be emitted through the natural

decomposition of the same wood.

The quantity of CO2 produced by combustion or decompositionof a tree corresponds to the quantity of CO

2 that the tree itself is

capable of extracting from the environment and transforminginto oxygen for the air and carbon for itself during its lifetime.

Unlike wood, when fossil fuels are burned – which are notrenewable, like coal, diesel oil, gas - a huge amount of CO

2

accumulated in the course of millions of years is emitted intothe atmosphere, increasing the green-house effect.Consequently, the use of wood as fuel maintains the perfectequilibrium of nature because it is a renewable fuel whoseburning is compatible with nature’s life cycle.

The principle of clean combustion is in perfect harmony withthese characteristics and Palazzetti always refers to it whendesigning its products.

What exactly do we mean by clean combustion and how doesit come about?By controlling the flow of primary air and by adding secondaryair, a second level of combustion, or post-combustion, takesplace. This is indicated by a second characteristically clearerand stronger flame above the main flame. By adding newoxygen, this flame consumes the unburned gasses,remarkably improving heat production and reducing t h eharmful emission of CO (carbon monoxide) caused byincomplete combustion.This is a unique feature of the fireplaces and other PALAZZETTIproducts.

DAS SYSTEM DER DOPPELTENVERBRENNUNG

Eine in einem Kaminofen korrekt brennende Flamme gibt diegleiche Menge an Kohlendioxyd (C0

2) ab, die durch die

natürliche Zersetzung des Holzes selbst hätte erzeugt werdenkönnen.

Die von der Verbrennung oder Zersetzung einer Pflanzeerzeugte C0

2-Menge entspricht der Menge, die eben diese

Pflanze während ihres Lebenszyklus aus der Atmosphäreentnimmt und für die Luft in Sauerstoff bzw. für die Pflanze inKohlenstoff umwandeln kann.

Bei der Verwendung von nicht erneuerbarenFossilbrennstoffen (Kohle, Dieselöl, Gas) werden im Gegenteilzum Holz enorme Mengen an CO

2, das sich im Laufe von

Millionen Jahren angesammelt hat, an die Atmosphäreabgegeben, was zur Erhöhung des “Treibhauseffekts” beiträgt.Demnach kann die Anwendung von Holz als Brennstoff alsumweltfreundlich angesehen werden, da ein erneuerbarerBrennstoff verwendet wird, der sich harmonisch in dennatürlichen, ökologischen Zyklus einfügt.

Das von Palazzetti für Kaminöfen und Kamine angewandtePrinzip der sauberen Verbrennung entspricht voll und ganzdiesen Zielsetzungen, woran man sich auch in der Planungder Produkte hält.

Was versteht man unter sauberer Verbrennung und wiefunktioniert sie? Die Kontrolle der Primärluft und die Zufuhrvon Sekundärluft bewirken eine zweite Verbrennung bzw. eineso genannte Nachverbrennung, bei der sich eine zweiteFlamme über der ersten entwickelt und lebendiger und auchklarer brennt. Sie verbrennt durch die Zufuhr der ekundärluftdie unverbrannten Gase, wodurch die Heizleistung wesentlichverbessert wird: die schädlichen, durch die unvollständigeVerbrennung bedingten CO-Emissionen (Kohlenmonoxyd)werden auf ein Minimum reduziert. Es handelt sich hierbei umein exklusives Merkmal der Kaminöfen und anderen Produkteder Fa. PALAZZETTI.

1.2 DESTINAZIONE D’USO

L’apparecchiatura PALAZZETTI modello ECOPALEXè il nuovo caminetto per il riscaldamento, realizzatoda una struttura completamente metallica, confocolare chiuso da un vetro - ceramico.

Il caminetto funziona in maniera ottimale con la portadel focolare chiusa.

Il caminetto è caratterizzato da un doppio sistema dicombustione PRIMARIA e SECONDARIA con effettipositivi sia sul rendimento che sulla emissione di“fumi più puliti”.

La destinazione d’uso sopra riportata e leconfigurazioni previste del caminetto sono le unicheammesse dal Costruttore: non utilizzarel’apparecchio in disaccordo con le indicazionifornite.

La destinazione d’uso indicata è valida solo perapparecchiature in piena efficienza strutturale,meccanica ed impiantistica. Il caminetto PALAZZETTIè un apparecchio solo da interno.

1.2 USE OF THE STOVE

The PALAZZETTI ECOPALEX model stove is the newfireplace heater, consisting in a structure madecompletely of metallic material, with the fireboxenclosed by ceramic glass.

The fireplace operates at its best when the fireboxdoor is shut.

This fireplace features the dual PRIMARY andSECONDARY combustion system with positive effectsboth on efficiency and on the emission of “cleaner smoke”.

Use of the stove, as described above, and itsconfigurations are only those allowed by themanufacturer: do not use the stove in disagreementwith the indications provided.

The indicated use of the fireplace is applicable onlyfor fireplaces in full structural, mechanical andengineering efficiency. The PALAZZETTI fireplace isfor indoor use only.

1.9 MANUFACTURER’S LIABILITY

The manufacturer declines all civil and penalliabilities, direct or indirect, due to:

• An installation that fails to comply with the laws in forcein the country and with the safety rules and regulations;

• Failure to comply with the instructions given in themanual;

• An installation by unqualified and untrainedpersonnel;

• Use that fails to conform to the safety directives;

• Alterations and repairs on the appliance notauthorised by the manufacturer;

• Use of spare parts that are either not genuine orspecific for this particular model of fireplace;

• Lack of maintenance;

• Exceptional events.

Es sind alle Vorschriften der örtlichen,nationalen und europäischen Gesetzgebung zubeachten, die im jeweiligen Aufstellungsland gültig sind.

GEBRAUCH

Der Gebrauch des Geräts untersteht nicht nur denpräzisen Anweisungen dieses Handbuchs, sondernauch der Beachtung aller im Installationslandvorgesehenen Sicherheitsnormen.

1.10 CARATTERISTICHE DELL’UTILIZZATORE

L'utilizzatore del caminetto deve essere una personaadulta e responsabile provvista delle conoscenzetecniche necessarie per la manutenzione ordinariadei componenti del caminetto.Fare attenzione che i bambini non si avvicinino alcaminetto, mentre è in funzione, con l’intento digiocarvi.

1.11 ASSISTENZA TECNICA

Palazzetti è in grado di risolvere qualunque problematecnico riguardante l’impiego e la manutenzionenell'intero ciclo di vita del prodotto.

La sede centrale è a vostra disposizione per indirizzarvial più vicino centro di assistenza autorizzato.

1.12 PARTI DI RICAMBIO

Impiegare esclusivamente parti di ricambio originali.

Non attendere che i componenti siano logorati dall’usoprima di procedere alla loro sostituzione.

Sostituire un componente usurato prima della rotturafavorisce la prevenzione degli infortuni derivanti daincidenti causati proprio dalla rottura improvvisa deicomponenti, che potrebbero provocare gravi danni apersone e cose.

Eseguire i controlli periodici di manutenzione comeindicato nel capitolo “MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA”.

1.13 CONSEGNA DEL CAMINETTO

Il caminetto viene consegnato perfettamente imballatoe fissato ad una pedana in legno che ne permette lamovimentazione mediante carrelli elevatori e/o altrimezzi.All’interno del caminetto viene allegato il seguentemateriale:• libretto di uso, installazione e manutenzione• etichetta codice a barre• guanto di protezione.

Do not let children near the fireplaceto play with it whenit is working.

PALAZZETTI is able to solve any technical problemconcerning the use and maintenance of the product’swhole life cycle.

1.12 SPARE PARTS

Use genuine spare parts only.

Do not wait until the components are worn from usebefore changing them.

Changing a worn component before it breaks makesit easier to prevent accidents that could otherwise leadto serious injury to people or damage to things.

Carry out the routine maintenance checks asexplained in the “MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING”chapter.

1.13 DELIVERY OF THE STOVE

The fireplace is delivered perfectly packed incardboard and fixed to a wooden pallet so it can behandled by forklifts and/or other means.

You will find the following items inside the fireplace:

1.9 HAFTBARKEIT DES HERSTELLERS

1.10 EIGENSCHAFTEN DES BENUTZERS

Darauf achten, dass Kinder sich nicht dembetriebenen Kaminofen nähern bzw. damit spielenwollen.

Die Fa. PALAZZETTI ist in der Lage, jedes technischeProblem bezüglich der Benutzung oder der Wartungwährend der gesamten Lebensdauer des Produktszu lösen.

1.12 ERSATZTEILE

Ausschließlich Original-Ersatzteile verwenden.

Vor dem Austausch gewisser Bestandteile nicht erstabwarten, bis sie komplett abgenutzt sind.

Wird ein verschlissener Bestandteil vor seinemkompletten Kaputtgehen ersetzt, können Unfälle, dieeben auf das plötzliche Kaputtgehen von Teilenzurückzuführen sind und schwere Personen- undSachschäden verursachen könnten, vermieden werden.

Die regelmäßigen Kontrollen zur Instandhaltung lautKapitel „WARTUNG UND REINIGUNG“ durchführen.

1.13 LIEFERUNG DES KAMINOFENS

Der Kaminofen wird einwandfrei im Karton verpacktund auf einem Holzpodest fixiert geliefert, wodurchder Transport mittels Hubstapler und/oder anderenMitteln möglich ist.

Im Kaminofen wird folgendes Material mitgeliefert:• Installations-, Gebrauchs- und Wartungsanleitung• Etiketten mit Balkencode• Schutzhandschuh.

IT2 AVVERTENZE PER LA SICUREZZA

2.1 AVVERTENZE PER L’INSTALLATORE

• Verificare che le predisposizioni all’accoglimentodella stufa siano conformi ai regolamenti locali,nazionale ed europei.

• Osservare le prescrizioni indicate nel presentemanuale.

• Verificare che le predisposizioni della canna fumariae della presa d’aria siano conformi al tipo diinstallazione.

• Non effettuare collegamenti elettrici volanti con caviprovvisori o non isolati.

• Verificare che la messa a terra dell’impianto elettricosia efficiente.

• Usare sempre i dispositivi di sicurezza individuale egli altri mezzi di protezione previsti per legge.

2.2 AVVERTENZE PER L’UTILIZZATORE

• Predisporre il luogo d’installazione della stufasecondo i regolamenti locali, nazionale ed europei.

• La stufa, essendo un prodotto da riscaldamento,presenta delle superfici esterne particolarmente calde.

Per questo motivo si raccomanda la massima cauteladurante il funzionamento in particolare:

• non toccare e non avvicinarsi al vetro della porta, potrebbe causare ustioni;

• non toccare lo scarico dei fumi;

• non scaricare le ceneri;

• non eseguire pulizie di qualunque tipo;

• fare attenzione che i bambini non si avvicinino.

• Osservare le prescrizioni indicate nel presentemanuale.

• Rispettare le istruzioni e gli avvertimenti evidenziatidalle targhette esposte sulla stufa.

• Le targhette sono dispositivi antinfortunistici,pertanto devono essere sempre perfettamenteleggibili. Qualora risultassero danneggiate edilleggibili è obbligatorio sostituirle, richiedendone ilricambio originale al Costruttore.

• Utilizzare solo il combustibile conforme alleindicazioni riportate sul capitolo relativo allecaratteristiche del combustibile stesso.

• Seguire scrupolosamente il programma dimanutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria.

• Non impiegare la stufa senza prima avere eseguitol’ispezione giornaliera come prescritto al capitolo“Manutenzione” del presente manuale.

• Non utilizzare la stufa in caso di funzionamentoanomalo, sospetto di rottura o rumori.

• Non gettare acqua sulla stufa in funzionamento oper spegnere il fuoco nel braciere.

• Non appoggiarsi sulla porta aperta, potrebbecomprometterne la stabilità.

2.1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLER

• Make sure that the place of installation of the fireplacemeets all local, national and European rules andregulations.

• Comply with the indications given in this manual.

• Check that the flue and air intake are suitable for thetype of installation opted for.

• The electrical connection must not be done usingtemporary or non-insulated leads.

• Check that the earthing of the electrical system isefficient.

• Always use the individual safety devices and the otherprotection gear as established by law.

2.2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER

• Prepare the place of installation of the fireplace inaccordance with the local, national and European rulesand regulations.

• Since the fireplace is a product that heats, its outersurfaces can get very hot.

For this reason we advise maximum caution when itis working, in particular:

• Do not touch or go near the glass door as you could get burnt;

• do not touch the smoke discharge;

• do not empty the ashes;

• do not do any type of cleaning;

• make sure that children are kept away.


• Comply with the instructions and warnings given onthe plates on the fireplace.

• The plates are accident prevention devices and assuch must be easily and perfectly legible at all times.Should they be damaged and rendered illegible it iscompulsory to change them, asking the manufacturerfor an original plate.

• Only use fuel that complies with the indications givenin the chapter referring to fuel characteristics.

• Keep strictly to the routine and extraordinarymaintenance programme.

• Do not use the fireplace without first having carriedout the daily inspection as specified in the“Maintenance” chapter in this manual.

• Do not use the fireplace if there is a malfunction.

2 VORBEUGENDESICHERHEITSMASSNAHMEN

2.1 HINWEISE FÜR DEN INSTALLATEUR

• Sicherstellen, dass die Vorbereitungen für dieKaminofeninstallation den örtlichen, nationalen undeuropäischen Normen entsprechen.

• Die aufgeführten Vorschriften in diesem Handbuchsbeachten.

• Sicherstellen, dass sich der Rauchfang und dieLüftungsöffnung für die vorgesehene Installationeignen.

• Immer die persönlichen Sicherheitsausrüstungenund die gesetzlich vorgesehenen Schutzmittelverwenden.

2.2 HINWEISE FÜR DEN BENUTZER

• Den Installationsort des Kaminofens gemäß denörtlichen, nationalen und europäischen Normenvorbereiten.

• Die Aussenflächen des Produkts werden sehr heiß.

3 CARATTERISTICHE E DESCRIZIONEDELL’APPARECCHIO

3 MERKMALE UNDGERÄTEBESCHREIBUNG

3.1 BESCHREIBUNG

ECOPALEX Palazzetti ist ein Einbau-Kaminofen,bestehend aus einem Metallblock mit selbsttragenderStruktur. Er eignet sich sowohl für den Einbau in bereitsbestehende Kamine, als auch für neue Kamine undführt zu einen optimalen Betrieb bei bestmöglicherLeistung.

Die Kaminöfen ECOPALEX Palazzetti zeichnen sich durchdas fortschrittliche System der doppelten Verbrennungaus, wodurch das Holz und die während derPrimärverbrennung unverbrannt gebliebenen Gaseoptimal verbrannt werden.Die Auswahl der Kaminöfen ECOPALEX Palazzetti umfasstviele Modelle, die sich untereinander durch ihre Maße, dieForm der Tür und die Art der Öffnung unterscheiden:

IT3.2 TARGHETTA DI IDENTIFICAZIONE

La targhetta matricola posta sul caminetto riporta tuttii dati caratteristici relativi al prodotto, compresi i datidel Costruttore, il numero di Matricola e il marchio CE.

Il numero di matricola deve essere sempre indicatoper qualsiasi tipo di richiesta riguardante il caminetto.

3.3 I KIT OPZIONALI

L’Ecopalex Palazzetti può essere adattato alle variesituazioni di installazione mediante l’utilizzo di uno opiù kit opzionali di cui daremo breve descrizione:

• kit di distribuzione aria in altri locali o in controcappacostituito da tubi flessibili in alluminio e bocchette didistribuzione aria.

• kit cornice frontale, serve a fissare ed armonizzarel’ECOPALEX alla struttura del caminetto in cui viene inserito.

• kit tubo telescopico serve a collegare l’uscita fumialla canna fumaria su caminetti già esistenti.

• centralina di regolazione ventilatore per ECOPALEXdotati di ventilatori assiali. Esclusi Inserto H66 e H76.

• kit ventilatore “350” comprensivo di centralina diregolazione: è studiato apposta per l’ECOPALEX econsente di distribuire aria calda in più locali migliorandoconsiderevolmente le prestazioni del caminetto.

• kit ventilatore da 680 m3/h comprensivo dicentralina di regolazione: solo per i modelli Inserto H66, Inserto H 76 ed Ecopalex 78, 88. Consente didistribuire l'aria in più locali migliorandoconsiderevolmente le prestazioni del caminetto.

3.4 LA COMBUSTIONE

Molti sono i fattori che concorrono per rendere efficacela combustione in termini di prestazioni termiche ebasse emissioni di sostanze inquinati (CO -Monossido di carbonio).Alcuni fattori dipendono dall’apparecchiatura nellaquale avviene la combustione altri invece dipendonoda caratteristiche ambientali, di installazione e dalgrado di manutenzione ordinaria effettuato al prodottoe alla canna fumaria.Alcuni fattori importanti sono:• aria comburente;• qualità della legna (umidità e dimensioni);• caratteristiche del sistema di evacuazione dei prodottidella combustione.

Nei paragrafi successivi sono riportate alcuneindicazioni da rispettare per ottenere il massimorendimento del prodotto acquistato.

4 MOVIMENTAZIONE E TRASPORTO

Il caminetto viene consegnato con la strutturametallica montata, con il rivestimento separato, in unimballo adeguato ai lunghi trasporti.Consigliamo di disimballare il caminetto solo quandoè giunta sul luogo di installazione.Seguire le istruzioni di montaggio nei punti 6.1 eseguenti.Il caminetto viene consegnato completo di tutte le partipreviste.

The serial number plate on the fireplace contains allof the characteristics of the product, includingmanufacturer information, serial number and CE mark.

The serial number must always be provided for anyrequest concerning the fireplace.

3.3 THE OPTIONAL KITS

Palazzetti ECOPALEX can be adapted to variousinstallation situations by simply using one or more ofthe optional kits of which we give a brief description:

• air distribution kit in other rooms or counter hood,consisting of flexible aluminium pipes and airdistribution vents.

• front frame kit, used to fix and blend ECOPALEX inwith the structure of the fireplace where it is recessed.

• telescopic pipe kit used to connect the smoke outletto the flue on existing fireplaces.

• Fan adjustment unit for ECOPALEX fireplaces fittedwith axial fans. Inserto H66 and Inserto H76 excluded.

• “350” fan kit including an adjustment unit: designedspecifically ECOPALEX, it lets hot air circulate in severalrooms, improving fireplace performance considerably.

• 680 m3/h fan kit complete with adjustment unit:only for the models Inserto H 66, Inserto H 76 andEcopalex 78, 88. It lets hot air circulate in severalrooms, improving fireplace performance considerably.

3.4 COMBUSTION

There are many factors that contribute to goodcombustion in terms of heat performance and lowemission of polluting substances (CO - carbonmonoxide).

Some of these factors depend on the unit itself whileothers depend on the environmental and installationconditions and on the routine maintenance carriedout on the product and on the flue.

Some of the important factors are:

• air for combustion;

• quality of the wood (humidity and dimensions);

• features of the combustion products evacuationsystem.Some indications are given in the followingparagraphs that should be complied with to achievemaximum stove performance.

4 HANDLING AND TRANSPORT

The fireplace is delivered with an assembled metalstructure .

It is advisable to wait until the fireplace arrives at theplace where it will be installed before unpacking it.

The fireplace is supplied with all its parts.Pay attention to the fireplace’s tendency to beunbalanced.

. Avoid sudden movements and sharp tugs when liftingthe fireplace.

3.2 TYPENSCHILD

3.4 DIE VERBRENNUNG

Viele Faktoren spielen für eine im Sinne vonWärmeleistung und niedriger Schadstoffabgabe (CO- Kohlenmonoxyd) effiziente Verbrennung einebedeutende Rolle.Einige Faktoren hängen vom Gerät ab, in dem dieVerbrennung erfolgt, andere hingegen von denUmweltbedingungen, der Installation und derregelmäßigen Wartung des Geräts und desRauchfangs.Einige wichtige Faktoren sind:• Verbrennungsluft;• Holzqualität (Feuchtigkeit und Größe);• Eigenschaften des Rauchabzugs derVerbrennungsprodukte.In den nachstehenden Abschnitten sind einigeAnweisungen enthalten, die einzuhalten sind, damit daserworbene Produkt mit maximaler Leistung funktioniert.

4 HANDLING UND TRANSPORT

Der Kaminofen wird mit montierter Metallstrukturgeliefert.Es ist empfehlenswert, den Kaminofen erst amInstallationsort auszupacken.Das Gerät wird mit allen vorgesehenen Teilen geliefert.Achtung, das Gerät kippt leicht.Nicht mit abrupten oder ruckartigen Bewegungenanheben.

ITFare attenzione alla tendenza allo sbilanciamento delcaminetto.Durante il sollevamento evitare strappi o bruschimovimenti.Accertarsi che il carrello sollevatore abbia unaportata superiore al peso della stufa da sollevare.

5 PREPARAZIONE DEL LUOGO DIINSTALLAZIONE

SCHEMA DI MONTAGGIO

• Per una corretta installazione la conduttura fumi tracaminetto e canna fumaria va fatta a tenuta stagnasigillando tutti i giunti di unione.

• Qualora il caminetto venga installato su una cannafumaria precedentemente usata con altri caminetti ènecessario provvedere ad una accurata pulizia perevitare anomali funzionamenti e prevenire l’eventualeincendio degli incombusti che si depositano sullepareti interne della stessa.

• Le norme UNI prevedono l’installazione di una grigliadi recupero di calore il più possibile vicino al soffitto.Fig. 5:

• Il rivestimento deve essere realizzato in materialeignifugo.

• In presenza di strutture o materiali infiammabilisul retro del focolare la distanza dai materialicombustibili deve essere di 20 cm.

• La distanza minima dai materiali combustibiliadiacenti deve essere di 20 cm. E’ necessariorivestire il retro e i fianchi del focolare con deipannelli di lana di roccia dello spessore di 4 cm didensità 40 kg/m³ con supporto in foglio di alluminio,per isolare termicamente il caminetto.

• Tutti i materiali combustibili che si trovano nellazona di irraggiamento del calore dal vetro della portadevono essere posti ad una distanza da esso dialmeno 80 cm (Fig. 5.1).

5.1 PRECAUZIONI PER LA SICUREZZA

5 PREPARING THE PLACE OFINSTALLATION

• For proper installation, the smoke ducting betweenthe fireplace and the flue must have all joints sealed.

• If the fireplace is installed on a flue used previouslywith other fireplaces, it is necessary to clean thoroughlyto avoid abnormal functioning and prevent a fire dueto the combustible materials which deposit on thewalls of the flue pipe.

• UNI standards require installaiton of a heeat recoverygrille as close as possible to the ceiling.

• The cladding must be made of fireproof material.

• If there are flammable structures or materials onthe back of the firebox, the distance from thecombustible materials must be 20 cm.

• The minimum distance from adjacent combustiblematerials must be 20 cm.

It is necessary to cover the rear and sides of thefirebox with panels of rock wool with a thickness of4 cm and density of 40 kg/m³ on an aluminium foilbase, so as to thermally insulate the fireplace.

• All combustible materials in the area of heatradiated from the glass of the door must be placedat a distance of at least 80 cm (Fig. 5.1).


The responsibility for any work done in the spacewhere the fireplace is to be installed is, and remains,the user’s. The user is also entrusted with carryingout the checks regarding the proposed installationsolutions.

Any wood beam of the cladding, or any finish incombustible material, must be suitably insulated (orlocated outside the area that is heated by the fireplace;refer to standard UNI 10683).

• Die Verkleidung muss auf feuerfestem Materialbestehen.

• Wenn sich hinter der Feuerstelle entflammbaresMaterial oder brennbare Strukturen befinden mussder Abstand zum brennbarem Material 20 cmbetragen. Für die Wärmeisolierung des Kaminsmüssen die Rückseite und die Seitenwände desOfens mit 4 cm dicken Platten aus 40 kg/m³ dichterGesteinswolle mit Aluminiumbeschichtungverkleidet werden.

• Der Mindestabstand zum brennbaren Materialmuss 20 cm betragen.

• Alle brennbaren Stoffe, die sich im Bereich derWärmestrahlung des Türglases befinden, müssenin einem Mindestabstand von 80 cm von demselbenuntergebracht werden (Abb. 5.1).

L’apparecchio dovrà essere installato su pavimenticon adeguata capacità portante.

Nel caso in cui il pavimento non sia di capacitàportante sufficiente, si consiglia di utilizzare una piastradi distribuzione del carico di dimensioni adeguate.

Le operazioni di montaggio e smontaggio delcaminetto sono riservate ai soli tecnici specializzati.

É sempre consigliabile che gli utenti si rivolgano alnostro servizio di assistenza per le richieste di tecniciqualificati.

Nel caso in cui intervengano altri tecnici siraccomanda di accertarsi sulle loro reali capacità.

L’installatore, prima di avviare le fasi di montaggio o dismontaggio del caminetto, deve ottemperare alle precauzionidi sicurezza previste per legge ed in particolare a:

A) non operare in condizioni avverse;B) deve operare in perfette condizioni psicofisiche edeve verificare che i dispositivi antinfortunisticiindividuali e personali, siano integri e perfettamentefunzionanti;C) deve indossare i guanti antiinfortunistici;D) deve indossare scarpe antiinfortunistiche;E) deve accertarsi che l’area interessata alle fasi dimontaggio e di smontaggio sia libera da ostacoli.

5.2 CANNE FUMARIE E COMIGNOLI

La canna fumaria per lo scarico dei fumi deve essererealizzata in osservanza alle norme EN 10683, EN1856-1-2, EN 1857, EN 1443, EN 13384-1-3, EN12391-1 sia per quanto riguarda le dimensioni cheper i materiali utilizzati per la sua costruzione.

• Le dimensioni della CANNA FUMARIA dovrannoessere conformi a quanto riportato nella schedaTecnica (tiraggio 12 Pa con portina chiusa). Èconsigliabile l’uso di canne fumarie coibentate inrefrattario o in acciaio inox di sezione circolare, c o npareti interne a superficie liscia (Fig. 5.2.1). La sezionedella canna fumaria dovrà mantenersi costante pertutta la sua altezza. Si consiglia un’altezza minima di3,5÷4 m (vedi Fig. 5.2.2). È opportuno prevedere, sottol’imbocco del canale da fumo, una camera di raccoltaper materiali solidi ed eventuali condense.

Canne fumarie FATISCENTI, costruite con materialenon idoneo (fibrocemento, acciaio zincato, ecc... consuperficie interna ruvida e porosa) sono fuorilegge epregiudicano il buon funzionamento del caminetto.

• Un PERFETTO TIRAGGIO è dato soprattutto da unacanna fumaria libera da ostacoli quali strozzature,percorsi orizzontali, spigoli; eventuali spostamenti diasse dovranno avere un percorso inclinato conangolazione max di 45° rispetto alla verticale, meglioancora se di soli 30°. Detti spostamenti vanno effettuati

If the floor does not have a sufficient load-bearingcapacity, it is advisable to use a load-distributing plateof an appropriate size.

The appliance must be installed on a floor with anadequate carrying capacity.

The fireplace assembly and disassembly operationsmust be carried out by skilled technicians only.

It is always advisable for the user to call our assistanceservice when they need qualified technicians.

If other technicians are called in, please make surethey are truly qualified.

Before starting the assembly or dismantling phasesof the fireplace, the installer must comply with thesafety precautions as established by law, and inparticular :

A) he must not work in adverse conditions;

B) he must be in perfect psychophysical condition towork and ensure that the individual and personalaccident prevention devices are sound and in perfectworking order;

C) he must wear accident prevention gloves;

D) he must wear safety shoes;

E) he must make sure that the area he is working infor assembling/dismantling the fireplace is free fromobstacles.

5.2 FLUES AND CHIMNEY CAPS

The flue pipe for the discharge of smoke must becompliant with standards EN 10683, EN 1856-1-2,EN 1857, EN 1443, EN 13384-1-3, EN 12391-1 bothin terms of size and materials used to construct it.

• FLUE dimensions must comply with the instructionsgiven in the technical data sheet (draught 12 Pa withthe door closed). It is advisable to use flues insulatedwith a refractory material or in stainless steel with acircular cross section and smooth internal walls (Fig.5.2.1). Flue cross-section should be kept constantfor all its height. A minimum height of 3.5÷4 m isrecommended (see Fig.5.2.2). Under the outlet of thesmoke pipe there should be a chamber for gatheringsolid materials and any condensation.DETERIORATING flues made with unsuitablematerials such as asbestos cement, galvanised steel,etc., with a rough or porous internal surface are illegaland can jeopardise the correct operation of thefireplace.

• A PERFECT DRAUGHT is above all the result of a fluethat is clear of obstructions such as chokes, horizontalsections or corners; any axial displacements shouldbe at a maximum angle of 45° compared to the verticalaxis, (better still if it is only 30°). These displacementsshould preferably be effected near the chimney top.

• The SMOKE connection between the stove and flueshould have the same cross section as the stove’ssmoke outlet. Any horizontal sections must not exceed2 meters and there must be a difference of 8÷10 cm

Installationsvorschläge übertragen.

Ein eventuell an der Verkleidung angebrachterHolzbalken bzw. alle Materialien der Verkleidung, diebrennfähig sind, müssen angemessen isoliertwerden (oder aus dem Bereich derWärmeabstrahlung des Ofens entfernt werden. SieheRichtlinie UNI 10683).

Der Benutzer hat alle örtlichen, nationalen undeuropäischen Sicherheitsregelungen einzuhalten.

Das Gerät muss auf einem Fußboden mitentsprechender Ladefähigkeit installiert werden.

Sollte die Tragfähigkeit des Fußbodens nichtausreichen, eine Platte zur Lastverteilung mitentsprechender Größe verwenden.

Die Maßnahmen zur Montage und zum Zerlegen desKaminofens dürfen nur von Fachpersonal durchgeführtwerden.

Es ist immer empfehlenswert, sich für die Anforderungvon qualifizierten Technikern an eine unsererKundendienststellen zu wenden.

Sollten andere Techniker eingreifen, sind derenFähigkeiten unbedingt sicherzustellen.

Der Installateur hat vor der Montage oder demZerlegen des Geräts alle gesetzlich vorgesehenenSicherheitsmaßnahmen und insbesondere diefolgenden zu beachten:

A) Nicht bei ungünstigen Bedingungen vorgehen;B) Unter einwandfreien psychophysischenBedingungen arbeiten und sicherstellen, dass dieindividuellen und persönlichenUnfallverhütungsvorrichtungen komplett sind undeinwandfrei funktionieren;C) Schutzhandschuhe tragen;D) SchutztÿËuhe tragen;E) Sicherstellen, dass der für die Montage bzw. dasZerlegen nötige Bereich keine Hindernisse aufweist.

5.2 RAUCHFÄNGE UND SCHORNSTEINE

Der Rauchfang für die Ableitung der Rauchgase mussunter Beachtung der Normen EN 10683, EN 1856-1-2, EN 1857, EN 1443, EN 13384-1-3, EN 12391-1angelegt werden, sowohl was seine Größe betrifft alsauch das für seinen Bau verwendete Material.• Die Maße des RAUCHFANGS müssen den Angabendes technischen Datenblattes (bei geschlossener TürAbzug 12 Pa) entsprechen. Es wird die Verwendungvon runden, isolierten Rauchfängen aus Schamotteoder Edelstahl, die an den Innenwänden eine glatteOberfläche haben, empfohlen (Abb. 5.2.1). DerDurchmesser des Rauchfangs muss über seinegesamte Länge gleich sein. Es wird eine Mindesthöhevon 3,5÷4 m empfohlen (siehe Abb.5.2.2). Es istaußerdem empfehlenswert, an der Mündung desRauchkanals eine Kammer vorzusehen, in derFeststoffe und eventuelle Kondensflüssigkeitaufgefangen werden.BAUFÄLLIGE Rauchfänge aus ungeeignetem Material(Asbestzement, verzinktem Stahl, usw. ... mit einerrauen und porösen Innenfläche) entsprechen nichtden geltenden Gesetzen und beeinträchtigen deneinwandfreien Betrieb des Ofens.• Ein PERFEKTER RAUCHABZUG wird vor allem durch

ITpreferibilmente in prossimità del comignolo.

• II RACCORDO FUMI tra stufa e canna fumaria dovràavere la stessa sezione dell’ uscita fumi delECOPALEX. Eventuali tratti orizzontali non dovrannosuperare i 2 metri e dovrà comunque esserci undislivello di 8÷10 cm per ogni metro, a salire indirezione della canna fumaria. Sono consentite almassimo due curve a 90°.

• II COMIGNOLO deve essere del tipo ANTIVENTO consezione interna equivalente a quella della canna fumariae sezione di passaggio dei fumi in uscita almenoDOPPIA di quella interna della canna fumaria (Fig. 5.2.3).

• Per evitare inconvenienti nel tiraggio, ogni caminettodovrà avere una propria canna fumaria indipendente.Nel caso di presenza di più canne fumarie sul tetto èopportuno che le altre si trovino ad almeno 2 metri didistanza e che il comignolo del caminetto SOVRASTIgli altri di almeno 40 cm (Fig.5.2.2). Se i comignolirisultano accostati prevedere dei setti divisori.

• In figura 5.2.4 (TETTO PIANO; B volume tecnico) efig. 5.2.5 (TETTO INCLINATO; B oltre il colmo) vengonovisualizzati i dati della tabella delle prescrizioni UNI10683 relative alle distanze e al posizionamentodei comignoli.

Qualora la canna fumaria che si vuole utilizzare perl’installazione fosse precedentemente collegata ad altrestufe o caminetti, è necessario provvedere ad unaaccurata pulizia per evitare anomali funzionamenti eper scongiurare il pericolo di incendio degli incombustidepositati sulle pareti interne della canna fumaria.In condizioni di normale funzionamento la pulizia dellacanna fumaria deve essere effettuata almeno u n avolta all’anno.

5.3 OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI (FIG. 5.3.1)

5.3.1 Interventi di adattamento

Prima di tutto è opportuno verificare le dimensioni dellospazio disponibile nel caminetto preesistente econfrontarle con quelle dell’ECOPALEX (Fig. 5.3.1) edella scheda tecnica. Nel caso si renda necessarioun intervento di adattamento, tagliando o modificandole pareti interne del caminetto preesistente, si pongaattenzione a non comprometterne la stabilità.

L’eventuale trave in legno, o comunque qualsiasifinitura in materiale combustibile deve essereadeguatamente isolata (oppure posta al di fuori dallazona di irraggiamento del focolare, vedi UNI 10683) emantenere rispetto all’ECOPALEX una distanza dialmeno 1 cm per garantire il libero flusso di aria attoad evitare il surriscaldamento.

5.3.2 Presa d’aria comburente

Per garantire l’affluso di aria comburente è necessarioeseguire un foro su una parete esterna nella stanzain cui è ubicato l’Ecopalex: le dimensioni del forodevono rispettare i valori prescritti nella tabella deidati tecnici del cap.9.

• la normativa UNI 10683 vieta il prelievo di ariacomburente da garage, magazzini di materialecombustibile o da locali soggetti a rischio di incendio.

• The CHIMNEY TOP shall be the WINDPROOF typewith an inside cross section equivalent to that of theflue and with a smoke outlet passage section at leastDOUBLE the internal one of the flue (Fig. 5.2.3).

• To avoid draught problems, each stove should haveits own flue. If there is more than one flue on the roofthe others should be situated at a distance of at least2 metres and the stove’s chimney top should be atleast 40 cm ABOVE the others (Fig. 5.2.3). If thechimney tops are near each other install some dividingpanels.

• the data in the table of the UNI 10683 rules regardingdistances and positioning of chimney tops are givenin Fig. 5.2.4 (FLAT ROOF ; B Technical volume) andFig. 5.2.5 (SLOPING ROOF ; B Above the ridge cap).

If the fireplace is installed with a flue that has alreadybeen used it should be cleaned thoroughly to avoidmalfunctions and the danger of unburned partsdeposited on the inside from catching fire. Undernormal conditions of use of the stove the flue shouldbe cleaned at least once a year.

5.3 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

5.3.1 Adapting

First of all you must check the space available in theexisting fireplace and compare it with the size of theECOPALEX (Fig. 5.3.1) and the technical data sheet. Ifit needs adapting by either cutting or altering the insidewalls of the existing fireplace, be very careful not toundermine its stability.

Any wood beams, or any finishing in combustiblematerial, must be suitably insulated (or placed outsidethe area of radiation of the fireplace, see UNI 10683),and must be at a distance form the ECOPALEX of atleast 1 cm to guarantee free air flow to avoid overheating.

5.3.2 Combustion air intake

To ensure the flow of combustion air, it is necessary tomake a hole in the outer wall of the room where theEcopalex is located. The dimensions of the hole mustcomply with the provisions of table of technical data inchapter 9.

• The UNI 10683 standard prohibits the intake of airfor combustion from garages, rooms whereflammable materials are stored or where there isdanger of fire.

• The combustion air intake should be protected by ananti-insect grille and placed where it can not beaccidentally obstructed.

If there are other heating units in the room, thecombustion air intakes must be increased in order toensure the required volume of air for proper operation

Es sindmaximal zwei Krümmungen von 90° zulässig.• Der SCHORNSTEIN muss WINDFEST sein und innendenselben Schnitt des Rauchfangs aufweisen; derSchnitt des Rauchdurchgangs muss am Ausgangmindestens DOPPELT so groß sein, wie dasInnenmaß des Rauchfangs (Abb.5.2.2).• Um unangenehmen Überraschungen vorzubeugen,muss jeder Kaminofen über einen eigenenunabhängigen Rauchfang verfügen. Bei mehrerenRauchfängen auf dem Dach müssen sich die anderenmindestens in 2 Meter Entfernung befinden und derSchornstein des Kaminofens die anderen ummindestens 40 cm ÜBERRAGEN (Abb. 5.2.3). Solltendie Schornsteine alle dicht beieinander und auf gleicherHöhe liegen, muss für Trennwände gesorgt werden.• In den Abbildungen 5.2.4 (EBENES DACH; BTechnisches Volumen) und 5.2.5 (GENEIGTES DACH;B Über den Dachfirst hinaus) sind die Tabellen derBestimmungen der UNI 10683 bzgl.den Abständenund der Positionierung der Schornsteine angeführt.Sollte der Ofen an einen bereits verwendetenRauchfang angeschlossen werden, ist diesergründlich zu reinigen, um Betriebsstörungen undBrandgefahr zu vermeiden, die auf Grund der an denInnenflächen des Rauchfangs abgelagerten,unverbrannten Rückständen entstehen können. Eswird empfohlen, die Reinigung bei einem normalenBetrieb mindestens einmal pro Jahr durchzuführen.UNI 10683 - Schornsteine, Abstände undPositionierung: Neigung des Dachs; Abstandzwischen Dachfirst und Kamin; Mindesthöhe desKamins (gemessen am Austritt) weniger als 1.85 m;höher als 1.85 m; 0.50 m über den Dachfirst hinaus;1.00 m vom Dach

5.3 EINLEITENDE MASSNAHMEN

5.3.1 Anpassungsarbeiten

Zuerst die im bereits bestehenden Kamin vorhandenenMaße prüfen und mit denen des ECOPALEX (Abb. 5.3.1)auf dem technischen Datenblatt vergleichen. SolltenAnpassungsarbeiten nötig sein, bei denen dieInnenwände der Feuerstelle zugeschnitten odergeändert werden, darauf achten, dass die Stabilität desKamins nicht beeinträchtigt wird.Ein eventueller Holzbalken oder jedes anderebrennbare Material muss entsprechend isoliertwerden (oder aus dem Strahlungsbereich derFeuerstelle entfernt werden, siehe UNI 10683) undein Abstand von 1 cm zum ECOPALEX für den freienLuftstrom zur Vermeidung einer Überhitzung, musseingehalten werden.

IT• La presa d’aria comburente va protetta da una grigliaantinsetto e va posizionata in modo tale da non essereostruita accidentalmente.

Qualora nel locale ci fossero altri apparecchi diriscaldamenro, le prese dell’aria comburente devonoessere maggiorate per garantire il volume di arianecessario al corretto funzionamento di tutti idispositivi.

Nel caso in cui nella stanza dove è ubicato il caminettosiano presenti e funzionanti uno o più ventilatori diestrazione (cappe di aspirazione) si potrebberoverificare malfunzionamenti alla combustione causatidalla scarsità di aria comburente.

5.3.3 Alloggiamento kit ventilazione 350m³/ho 680 m³/h opzionale

Per i caminetti esistenti predisporre un vano tecnicosotto la base dell’ECOPALEX per alloggiare ilventilatore, di dimensioni almeno pari a quantoindicato in figura (Fig. 5.3.3).

5.3.4 Prese d’aria con kit di ventilazione 350 m³/h.

Con il kit di ventilazione da 350 m³/h è necessarioeseguire una presa d’aria per il ventilatore deldiametro di 12 cm sul retro o sul fianco del caminetto,in modo tale da consentire l’afflusso di aria alventilatore.

Se tale presa viene realizzata su una parete esternadeve essere distante almeno 50 cm dalla presadell’aria comburente; in alternativa si può utilizzareuna presa d’aria interna alla stanza (fig.5.3.4).

5.3.5 Prese d’aria con kit di ventilazione da 680 m³/h.

In aggiunta alla presa dell’aria comburente ènecessario eseguire le seguenti prese d’aria per ilventilatore:

Le prese d’aria motore (B) e aria comburentedovranno essere distanti tra loro almeno 50 cm perevitare il passaggio di fumo dal focolare al circuito diriscaldamento.

Inoltre bisogna evitare di lasciare scollegato ilventilatore dai tubi di aspirazione sotto il piano fuoco:potrebbe aspirare fumo dal focolare e immetterlonel circuito di riscaldamento.

SOLUZIONE PER DISTRIBUZIONE ARIA CALDA IN PIÙAMBIENTI (fino a 120 m²) (Fig. 5.3.6)

In the room where the fireplace is located, if there areone or more extraction fans (exhaust hoods and thelike), there may be problems with combustion due tolack of combustion air.

5.3.3 Housing with optional ventilation kit, 350 m³/hor 680 m3/h

For existing fireplaces, there must be a compartmentunder the ECOPALEX base to house the fan. Itsdimensions must be as indicated in the figure.(Fig. 5.3.3).

5.3.4 Air intakes with optional ventilation kit 350 m³/h

With the ventilation kit of 350 m³/h it is necessary toprovide an air intake for the fan with a diameter of 12cm on the back or side of the fireplace, in order toallow air flow to the fan.

If this intake is made on an external wall, it must be atleast 50 cm from the combustion air intake; as analternative you can use an air intake in the room (fig.5.3.4).

5.3.5 Air intakes with optional ventilation kit 680 m³/h.

In addition to the combustion air intake, the followingair intakes must be provided for the fan:

Room air intake (in the room) for the fan of theheating circuit, located laterally to the cladding(diameter 15 cm) with grille .

External refresh air intake to heating circuit fan(diameter 15 cm) with grille measuring.

The motor air intakes (B) and fuel intakes must haveat least 50 cm between them to keep smoke fromgetting from the fire box into the heating circuit.

It is also necessary to avoid leaving the fandisconnected from the aspiration pipes under thefire bed: it may draw in smoke from the fire box andplace it in the heating circuit.

SOLUTION FOR HOT AIR DISTRIBUTION IN SEVERALROOMS (up to 120 m2) (Fig. 5.3.6)

Room air intake to heating circuit fan, locatedlaterally to the cladding (diameter 15 cm) with grille.

Room air intake (connected as (A)), oralternatively connected to an adjacent room (with theexception of the bathroom, kithcen, bedroom)(diameter 15 cm) with grille.

Depending on the solution adopted, during the dry testinstallation it is advisable to mark the position of the airintakes on both the cladding and the external wall.

• All of the air intakes may be equipped with anadjustable closure shutter, and they must be equippedwith an anti-insect grille.

• It is indispensable to clean filters or fine mesh grillesperiodically becasue they may become clogged.

5.3.2 Verbrennungsluft

Zur Garantie der Zufuhr von Verbrennungsluft mussan der Außenwand des Raums, in dem Ecopalexaufgestellt wird, eine Öffnung angebracht werden. DieAbmessungen der Öffnung müssen den Angaben inder Tabelle mit den technischen Daten in Kap. 9entsprechen.

GEFAHR:• Die UNI-Norm 10683 untersagt die Zufuhr derVerbrennungsluft aus Garagen, Brennstofflagern oderaus brandgefährdeten Räumen.• Die Frischluftklappe muss durch einInsektenschutzgitter geschützt sein und so angelegtwerden, dass sie nicht versehentlich zugestelltwerden kann.Falls sich in der Räumlichkeit mehrere Heizgerätebefinden, müssen die Öffnungen der Verbrennungsluftgrößer angelegt sein, um die notwendige Luftmengefür den einwandfreien Betrieb aller Vorrichtungen zugarantieren.Falls im Raum, in dem der Heizofen untergebrachtist, ein oder mehrere Abzugsgebläse (Abzugshaubenoder ähnliches) vorhanden und in Betrieb sind,könnten Probleme durch zu wenig Verbrennungsluftbei der Verbrennung auftreten.

5.3.3 Installation zusätzlicher Belüftungsbausatz350m³/h oder 680 m³/h

Für bereits bestehende Kamine unter dem Unterbaudes ECOPALEX einen Raum für die Installation desGebläses vorbereiten. Die diesbezüglichen Maße sindin der Abbildung angegeben (Abb. 5.3.3).

5.3.4 Lüftungsklappen mit zusätzlichem BausatzBelüftung 350 m³/h

Bei Lüftungsanlagen mit 350 m³/h muss eineBelüftungsöffnung mit 12 cm Durchmesser für denLüfter auf der Rückseite oder and en Seitenwändendes Kamins angebracht werden, damit dieLuftversorgung des Lüfters gewährleistet ist.

Wird diese Belüftungsöffnung an einer Außenwandangebracht, muss sie mindestens 50 cm von derÖffnung der Verbrennungsluftzufuhr entfernt liegen.Alternativ kann eine Belüftungsöffnung im Raumverwendet werden (Abb. 5.3.4).

5.3.5 Lüftungsklappen mit zusätzlichem BausatzBelüftung 680 m³/h.

Zusätzlich zur Öffnung für die Verbrennungsluftzufuhrmüssen folgende Belüftungsöffnungen für den Lüfterangebracht werden:

In relazione alla soluzione adottata, durante la provadi installazione a secco è opportuno segnare sia sullaparete esterna che sul rivestimento la posizione delleprese d’aria.

• Tutte le prese d’aria possono essere dotate diserrandina di chiusura regolabile, e devono esserecorredate di una griglia a rete anti insetto.

• É indispensabile pulire periodicamente eventuali filtrio griglie a maglia fitta che potrebbero ostruirsi.

5.4 LA CANALIZZAZIONE DELL’ARIA

Predisposizione bocchette e canalizzazioni

ECOPALEX consente di realizzare la canalizzazionedell’aria secondo due modalità; per ciascuna di questedescriveremo di seguito le operazioni da eseguireprima del posizionamento di ECOPALEX erimanderemo al punto in cui viene trattata, la secondaparte dell’installazione:

5.4.1 Kit opzionale distribuzione dell’aria (di serienei modelli Inserto H66 e Inserto H76)

• Se lo spazio tra il profilo superiore di ECOPALEX e latrave è di almeno 10 cm, i collari di uscita dell’ariapossono essere montati prima dell’inserimento diECOPALEX.• In caso contrario si provvederà a praticare un forosufficientemente ampio sulla cappa del caminetto.• I collari (B Fig.5.6) si fissano con viti autofilettantidopo aver tolto i tappi (A Fig.5.6).

5.4.2 Distribuzione aria in un locale adiacente o incontrocappa:

Questa modalità è propria dell’ECOPALEX conventilatori assiali opzionali.

Prima dell’inserimento dell’ECOPALEX è necessario• forare i muri e la cappa esistente per permettere ilpassaggio e I’applicazione dei tubi flessibili deldiametro di 14 cm.• Sono da evitare, per un corretto flusso dell’aria,canalizzazioni superiori ai 2 m di lunghezza (Fig. 5.4.2).• Se lo spazio tra la parte superiore di ECOPALEX e il profiloinferiore della trave è inferiore ai 10 cm sarà necessariopraticare un foro di circa 30 x 40 cm sulla cappa per lesuccessive operazioni di fissaggio dei condotti.• Le bocchette vanno fissate sulla cappa o su una paretead una altezza di aImeno 1,80/2,00 m daI pavimentoper evitare che I’aria calda in uscita investa le persone.• Se si vuole far passare il cavo di alimentazione deiventilatori esternamente al caminetto, eseguire un forodel diametro di 2 cm in corrispondenza dell’uscita delcavo di alimentazione (Fig. 5.4.2.1).

5.4.3 Kit opzionale condutture canalizzate perriscaldamento di più ambienti

Arranging vents and ducts

With ECOPALEX the air duct can be done in twodifferent ways. For each of these we are going todescribe below the steps to follow before positioningyour ECOPALEX and then refer to the point where thesecond part of the installation is described:

5.4.1 Optional air distribution kit (a standard featureon the Inserto H66 and Inserto H76 models)

• If the space between the upper profile of ECOPALEXand the beam is at least 10 cm, the air outlet collarscan be mounted before installing ECOPALEX.

• On the contrary, drill a big enough hole on thefireplace’s hood.

• Fix the collars (B Fig. 5.6) with self-tapping screwsafter having removed the plugs (A Fig.5.6)

5.4.2 Air distribution in an adjacent room or incounter hood:

This mode is peculiar to ECOPALEX with optional axialfans. Before recessing the ECOPALEX the followinghas to be done:

• drill the walls and existing hood to allow passageand application of the 14 cm diameter flexible pipes.

• to ensure a correct flow of air avoid ducts that arelonger than 2 metres (Fig. 5.4.2).

• if the space between the upper part of the ECOPALEXand the lower profile of the beam is less than 10 cm itwill be necessary to make a hole about 30 x 40 cm onthe hood to fix the ducts later.

• fix the vents on the hood or wall at a height of at least 1.80-2.00 m from the ground to prevent hot air hitting people.

• if you wish to lay the fans’ power cable outside thefireplace, make a 2 cm diameter hole where the powercable comes through (Fig. 5.4.2.1).

5.4.3 Ducted pipes for heating several rooms(optional kit)

To heat more than one room the ECOPALEX fireplacecan be fitted with the optional “350” “680” fan andmetal pipes for distributing the air as follows:

• flexible aluminium pipe – maximum 2-3 m in lengthper pipe

• plain metal pipe or duct – up to 3+3 m in length on adouble duct; 6 m on just the one duct.

Double duct piping (Fig. 5.4.3 A)

Install a vent in the same room as the fireplace. Thesecond pipe can be used to carry hot air to the otherrooms in the house.

Single duct piping (Fig. 5.4.3 B)

Alternatively, connect both hot air delivery pipes to aflexible pipe up to the opening of the distributionchannels.

The pipes for distributing air must have an inside crosssection of 25 x 15 cm, they must be made in plaingalvanised sheet and insulated with a 30 mm thick layer

Öffnung Raumluft (wie angeschlossen), oderalternativ an einen daneben liegenden raumangeschlossen (mit Ausnahme von Küche, Bad,Schlafzimmer) (Durchmesser 15 cm), mit Gitter.Bezüglich der angewandten Lösung. sollte manwährend der Probemontage ohne Anschlüsse auf derAussenwand und auf der Verkleidung die Punkte derLuftöffnungen kennzeichnen.• Alle Luftöffnungen können mit einer einstellbarenSchliessklappe ausgerüstet werden und müssen einInsektenschutzgitter haben.• Eventuelle, dichtmaschige Filter oder Gitter müssenin regelmässigen Zeitabständen gereinigt werden, umVerstopfungen zu vermeiden.

5.4 DIE LUFTLEITUNG

Vorbereitung der Luftstutzen und Leitungen

ECOPALEX erlaubt zwei Möglichkeiten der Luftleitung;für jede dieser Möglichkeiten werden anschließenddie vor der Aufstellung des ECOPALEX notwendigenMaßnahmen beschrieben, wobei auf den zweitenAbschnitt der Installation nur hingewiesen wird:

5.4.1 Zusatzeinheit zur Luftverteilung (serienmässigbei den Modellen Inserto H66 und Inserto H76)

• Sollte der Abstand zwischen dem oberen Profil desECOPALEX und des Balkens mindestens 10 cmbetragen, können die Luft-Ausgangsstutzen vor demEinbau des ECOPALEX montiert werden.• Andernfalls an der Abzugshaube des Kaminofenseine geeignete Aussparung anfertigen.• Die Deckel (B Abb. 5.6 ) der Rohrstutzen abnehmenund diese dann mit selbstschneidenden Schraubenbefestigen (A Abb.5.6 ).

5.4.2 Luftverteilungssystem für anliegende Räumeoder mit Gegenabzugshaube

Der ECOPALEX mit zusätzlichen Axialgebläsenfunktioniert mit diesem System. Vor dem Einbau desECOPALEX sind folgende Schritte notwendig• die bestehende Mauer und Abzugshaube durchbrechen,um das Durchführen und die Montage der biegsamenRohre mit 14 cm Durchmesser zu ermöglichen.• Für eine korrekte Luftzirkulation sind Leitungen über2 m Länge zu vermeiden (Abb. 5.4.2).• Sollte der Freiraum zwischen dem Oberteil desECOPALEX und dem unteren Profil des Balkens unter10 cm liegen, muss an der Abzugshaube eine Öffnung(ca. 30x40 cm) vorbereitet werden, um die Befestigung

Canalizzazione su unico condotto (Fig. 5.4.3 B)In alternativa collegare entrambe le mandate dell’ariacalda con un tubo flessibile fino all’imboccatura degliopportuni canali di distribuzione.I condotti per la distribuzione dell’aria dovranno avereuna sezione interna di 25x15 cm, essere costruiti inlamiera zincata liscia e coibentati con materassino inlana di vetro da 30 mm per evitare rumorosità edispersione di calore.Quando il caminetto viene utilizzato per riscaldare 2 opiù locali adiacenti è indispensabile favorire il ricircolodell’aria ambiente per uniformare la temperatura nellevarie stanze. Predisporre quindi griglie di transito sulleporte o tenere le porte socchiuse.

5.5 RACCORDO FUMI ECOPALEX - CANNAFUMARIA

L’ECOPALEX deve essere collegato alla canna fumariacon tubi e curve in acciaio alluminato o inox. Èsconsigliato il tubo in acciaio inox flessibile perchénon offre garanzia di durata nel tempo. II collegamentopuò essere effettuato in due modi:a) Collegamento diretto tra caminetto e cannafumaria.Se non è possibile passare con i tubi tra il caminettoe la cappa, è opportuno agevolarne il collegamento eil montaggio con un foro da praticare sulla cappastessa (Figg.5.4.1- 5.5)b) Collegamento con kit tubo telescopico (opzionale).Questa è la soluzione nel caso di installazione diECOPALEX su caminetti già esistenti.• Fissare prima di tutto il tubo telescopico ad un’altezzatale che tra la base del raccordo e la parte superioredell’Ecopalex vi sia uno spazio di 2 ÷ 12 cm (Fig. 5.5).

• Il fissaggio dovrà avvenire con viti autofilettanti nellaparte inferiore dell’anello precappa o della cappa, incorrispondenza dell’asse dell’imboccatura delcaminetto.

• Innestare poi i tubi e le curve sigillando la giunzionecon fibra ceramica e malta cementizia (Fig.5.5). Senon si riesce ad inserire i tubi e a fare la stuccaturadal basso è necessario forare la cappa del caminettoesistente (Fig. 5.4.1).

L’innesto alla canna fumaria o la sezione dipassaggio nell’anello precappa devono essereperfettamente sigillati (Fig. 5.5: A sigillare, Braccordo telescopico).

L’imperfetta sigillatura infatti può provocare unpassaggio d’aria in canna fumaria con conseguenteriduzione del tiraggio dell’ECOPALEX e un rapido epersistente annerimento del vetro ceramico dellaportina. Un’altra conseguenza è la fuoriuscita delcalore dell’ambiente attraverso la canna fumaria.

When the fireplace is used to heat 2 or more adjacentrooms, it is essential to help the recycling of theambient air to keep the temperature the same in eachroom. For this purpose, install transit grilles on thedoors or keep them ajar.

5.5 ECOPALEX SMOKE FITTING - FLUE

The ECOPALEX must be connected to the flue withpipes and curves in aluminate steel or stainless steel.We advise against flexible stainless steel pipingbecause it offers no guarantee of a long life. It can beconnected in two different ways:

a) directly between fireplace and flue.

If the pipes cannot be made to pass between thefireplace and hood it would be a good idea to facilitatethe connection and assembly by making a hole on theactual hood (Figs. 5.4.1-5.5)

b) using the optional telescopic tube kit-

This is the way to do to it if you are installing yourECOPALEX in an existing fireplace.

• First fix the telescopic pipe at a height so that there isa space of 2 to 12 cm between the base of theconnection and the upper part of the Ecopalex (Fig. 5.5).

• For fixing use self-tapping screws at the bottom ofthe prehood ring or hood, at the fireplace opening.

• Now fit the pipes and curves, sealing the join withceramic fibre and cement mortar (Fig.5.5). If you areunable to insert the pipes and fill in from the bottom,drill the hood of the existing fireplace (Fig. 5.4.1).

The connection to the flue or the passage crosssection in the prehood ring must be sealedaccurately (Fig. 5.5: A seal, B telescopic fitting).

In fact, if sealing is anything but perfect, air could getthrough to the flue and reduce the ECOPALEX draughtplus the ceramic glass of the door will turn and remainblack. Another consequence would be heat escapingthrough the flue.

If, in the existing fireplace, there is a beam or otherparts in wood that are less than 16 cm away from thetop edge of the ECOPALEX, such combustible materialmust be protected from heat with an insulating panel,such as cement chip or any other suitable material(Fig. 5.5: C Cement chip panel ).

5.6 OPTIONAL FRONT FRAME KIT

Front frame kit, used to fix and blend ECOPALEX inwith the structure of the fireplace where it is recessedin. During the preinstallation phase, it will be necessaryto first fix the profiles on the side edges and upperedge of the ECOPALEX using the relative screws (Fig.5.6: A plugs - B Air outlet collars - C Front framesupports).

If you are not going to use the front filler frame, leave agap of at least 1 cm for air to circulate.

5.6.1 Central filler frame (optional)

• Measure the side panels and the front panel. If

Für das Heizen mehrerer Räume kann der ECOPALEXmit einem Ventilator “350” oder “680” als Optionausgestattet werden, wozu dann Metallleitungen für dieLuftverteilung nach folgendem Schema zu verlegen sind:• biegsames Aluminiumrohr - max. Länge 2-3 m pro Leitung.• glattes Metallrohr oder Schacht - Länge bis zu 3+3 mbei doppelter Leitung; 6 m bei einer einzigen Leitung

Schachtverlegung in einer doppelten Leitung (Abb. 5.4.3 A)Einen Stutzen im gleichen Raum des Kaminofensinstallieren - die zweite Leitung kann für weitereRäume benutzt werden.

Schachtverlegung in einer einzigen Leitung (Abb. 5.4.3 B)Andernfalls beide Warmluftströme mit einembiegsamen Rohr bis zum Anschluss an dieVerteilerleitungen führen.Die Luftverteilerleitungen müssen innen 25x15 cmmessen, aus glattem, verzinktem Stahl gefertigt undzur akustischen bzw. Thermischen Isolierung mit 30mm Glaswolle isoliert sein.Wird der Kaminofen zum Heizen von 2 oder mehreren,nebeneinanderliegenden Räumen verwendet, mussdie Luftzirkulation unbedingt gefördert werden, um dieTemperatur in allen Räumen gleichmäßig zu halten.Dazu an den Türen Lüftungsgitter anbringen oder dieTüren immer halb offen halten.

5.5 RAUCHANSCHLUSS ECOPALEX - RAUCHFANG

Der ECOPALEX muss mittels Rohren undKrümmungen aus aluminiertem Stahl oder Edelstahlan den Rauchfang angeschlossen werden. VomEinsatz eines biegsamen Edelstahlrohrs wirdabgeraten, da dieses keine langfristige G a r a n t i ebietet. Der Anschluss kann auf zwei verschiedeneWeisen erfolgen:a) Direkter Anschluss zwischen Kaminofen undRauchfang. Sollte es nicht möglich sein, die Rohrezwischen Kaminofen und Abzugshaube zu verlegen,ist der Anschluss und die Montage durch eine Öffnungan der Abzugshaube vorzunehmen (Abb. 5.3.1-5.5).b) Anschluss mit Teleskoprohr (Option).So wird der ECOPALEX in bereits existenten Kamineninstalliert.• Zuerst das Teleskoprohr so befestigen, dasszwischen unterer Grenze des Anschlusses und obererKante des Ecopalex noch 2-12 cm Freiraum bleiben(Abb. 5.5).• Das Rohr wird mittels selbstschneidendenSchrauben im unteren Bereich des Rings vor derAbzugshaube oder der Abzugshaube,übereinstimmend mit dem Anschluss des Kaminsbefestigt.• Danach die Rohre und Krümmungen ineinander

ITQualora nel caminetto esistente ci fosse una trave oppurealtre parti in legno ad una distanza inferiore a 16 cm dalfilo superiore dell’ECOPALEX, è necessario proteggeredal calore le parti in materiale combustibile con unpannello isolante tipo truciolo cemento o altro materialeadatto (Fig.5.5: C pannello in truciolo-cemento).

5.6 KIT OPZIONALE CORNICE FRONTALE

Il Kit cornice frontale serve a fissare ed armonizzarel’ECOPALEX alla struttura del caminetto in cui vieneinserito. Nella fase di preinstallazione sarànecessario fissare prima i profili sui bordi laterali esul bordo superiore dell’ECOPALEX con le appositeviti (Fig.5.6: A tappi, B collari uscita aria, C supporticornice frontale ).Qualora non si utilizzi la cornice di chiusura frontale ènecessario lasciare una fessura di almeno 1 cm perla circolazione dell’aria.

5.6.1 Kit opzionale cornice per chiusura centrale

• Rilevare le misure dei pannelli laterali e del pannellofrontale; se necessario tagliarli con forbici da lamierao con cesoie, fissarli con le apposite viti ai profiliprecedentemente applicati sull’ECOPALEX (Fig.5.6.1).Qualora non si utilizzi la cornice di chiusura frontale ènecessario lasciare una fessura di almeno 1 cm perla circolazione dell’aria (Fig. 5 ).In ogni caso le feritoie poste sotto il cassetto cenere osul fianco non vanno mai ostruite per noncompromettere I’efficienza della combustione.

5.7 INSERIMENTO DI ECOPALEX

Appoggiare innanzitutto I’ECOPALEX sul piano fuocodel caminetto. Stendere sul fondo del collare abicchiere (posto nella parte superiore) un cordone dipasta sigill-fuoco (sigillante che resiste a 800°C). Farepoi scorrere I’apparecchiatura nella posizionedefinitiva. Si può facilitarne lo scorrimento utilizzandodue guide di lamiera dello spessore di 2/3 mm postesotto I’ECOPALEX , che verranno tolte aposizionamento avvenuto (Fig. 5.7).

5.8 INNESTO DEL TUBO TELESCOPICO

Caso di installazione di ECOPALEX su caminetti giàesistenti.Occorre innanzi tutto aprire la portina, togliere ildeflettore fumi in ghisa (Fig. 5.8.1) e sfilarlo verso ilbasso. Togliere la farfalla fumi sollevandola prima sullato destro quindi sfilandola dalla bussola sinistra.Poi, tirare verso il basso con una mano il tondino fissatonel tubo telescopico e inserirlo nell’apposita sede.Infine, togliere il sigillante eventualmente traboccatoall’interno e riposizionare nella propria sede la farfallae il deflettore fumi in ghisa. II raccordo fumi sarà cosìcompletato.

5.9 ECOPALEX E VENTILAZIONE

ECOPALEX può essere fornito dotato di ventilatoriassiali, adatti a migliorare la performance delcaminetto attraverso la ventilazione del solo ambiente

GB Dnecessary remove them with shears; fix them to theprofiles attached previously to ECOPALEX (Fig. 5.6.1)with the relative screws. If you are not going to use thefront filler fame leave a gap of at least 1 cm for air tocirculate (Fig. 5).

The slits under the ash box or on the side must neverbe obstructed so as not to undermine combustionefficiency.

5.7 PUTTING ECOPALEX IN

Before anything else, stand the ECOPALEX on thefireplace level. Spread a line of fire-sealant paste (thatresists a temperature of 800°C) on the bottom of thecollar (at the top). Move the fireplace into the finalposition. You can make it easier to move by using two2-3 mm thick metal sheet guides under it, removingthem once the fireplace is positioned (Fig. 5.7).

5.8 FITTING THE TELESCOPIC PIPE

This is the case when you are installing the ECOPALEXin an existing fireplace.

You first of all have to open the door, remove the castiron smoke diaphragm (Fig. 5.8.1) and pull it outdownwards. Remove the smoke butterfly regulatordiaphragm, lifting it first on the right and then pulling itout from the left bush. Now, with one hand, pull the rodfixed in the telescopic pipe downwards and put it inplace. Lastly, remove any excess ealant from insideand put the butterfly diaphragm back in place as wellas the cast iron smoke diaphragm. The smoke fittingis now installed.

5.9 ECOPALEX AND VENTILATION

ECOPALEX can be equipped with axial fans which willimprove its performance by ventilating just the oneroom it is installed in or as described in point 5.3.1 fordistributing air through the counter hood and/or roomby using the optional air distribution. For a morecomplete distribution of the hot air, according to point5.4, it will be necessary to use the ventilation kit “350”,as described at point 5.9.2.

5.9.1 Optional fan control unit kit

The axial fans in the ECOPALEX can be turned onand their speed adjusted with the relative control unit(Fig. 5.9.1).

SWITCHES FOR THE FANS

If the optional control unit is not installed, flush mount aswitch for starting and stopping the fans, fitted with fuses.

The electrical circuit features a minimum temperaturethermostat that lets the fans start only if the fire is lit(which occurs after 15-20 minutes depending on thesize of the fire) and the fans will stop when it is cold.The ECOPALEX can also work without the fans on.

The control unit and all electrical parts must beinstalled and connected by skilled personnel incompliance with current standards. It must be possibleto inspect and remove the control unit and all theelectrical parts for maintenance or repairs.

Eine weitere Auswirkungist, dass die Raumwärme über den Rauchfangverloren geht.Sollten im existenten Kamin ein Holzbalken bzw.andere Holzteile vorhanden sein, deren Abstand zumoberen Rand des ECOPALEX weniger als 16 cmmisst, müssen diese Teile aus brennbarem Materialdurch eine Isolierplatte aus Zementspan oderanderem geeignetem Material isoliert werden(Abb.5.5: C Zementspanplatte).

5.6 ZUSÄTZLICHER BAUSATZ VORDERER RAHMEN

Der vordere Rahmen dient zur harmonischenBefestigung des ECOPALEX an der Struktur desKamins, in dem er eingesetzt wird. Während derVorinstallation zuerst die Profile mit den geeignetenSchrauben seitlich und an der oberen Kante desECOPALEX befestigen (Abb.5.6: A Verschlüsse, BLuftauslässe, C Halterungen vorderer Rahmen).Sollte der vordere Abschlussrahmen nicht verwendetwerden, muss mindestens 1 cm Freiraum zurLuftzirkulation freigelassen werden.

5.6.1 Zusätzlicher Bausatz vorderer Rahmen fürmittige Schliessung

• Die Seitenpaneele und das Vorderpaneelabmessen; wenn nötig, die Paneele mit einerBlechschere zuschneiden und mit den dafürvorgesehenen Schrauben an den zuvor amECOPALEX angebrachten Profilen befestigen(Abb.5.6.1). Sollte der vordere Abschlussrahmen nichtverwendet werden, ist für die Luftumwälzungmindestens 1 cm Freiraum (Abb. 5) notwendig.Die Schlitze unter der Aschenlade oder seitlich davon dürfenkeinesfalls verschlossen werden, um den einwandfreienAblauf der Verbrennung nicht zu beeinträchtigen.

5.7 EINBAU DES ECOPALEX

Den ECOPALEX auf die Feuerstelle des Kaminsaufsetzen. An der Unterseite des Muffenrohrs (imoberen Bereich angebracht) etwas feuerfesten Leim(bis zu 800°C feuerfest) zur Versiegelung auftragen.Danach das Gerät auf die endgültige Positionverschieben. Das Verschieben kann unter Anwendungzweier Blechschienen mit 2-3 mm Stärke, die unterden ECOPALEX eingeschoben und nach derendgültigen Aufstellung wieder entfernt werden,erfolgen (Abb. 5.7).

5.9.1 Kit opzionale centralina di regolazioneventilatori

Nell’ECOPALEX con ventilatori assiali I’accensionee la regolazione della velocità possono venireeffettuate tramite la apposita centralina (Fig. 5.9.1).

INTERRUTTORI PER I VENTILATORINel caso non venga installata la centralina opzionaledi regolazione per i ventilatori, prevedere per I’avvio eI’arresto degli stessi, un interruttore ad incassocollegato ai ventilatori e dotato di fusibili.II circuito elettrico è dotato di un termostato di minimache permette I’avvio dei ventilatori solo con fuocoacceso (che avverrà dopo 15÷20 minuti a secondadel volume di fuoco), e si spegneranno a strutturafredda. Ricordiamo infine che ECOPALEX puòfunzionare anche a ventilatori spenti.La centralina e tutte le parti elettriche dovranno essereinstallate e collegate da personale abilitato e nelrispetto delle norme vigenti. Dovranno essere inoltreispezionabili e removibili per eventuali interventi dimanutenzione o riparazione.

5.9.2 Kit ventilatore “350” o “680” comprensivo dicentralina di regolazione (optional)

Quando invece si desideri distribuire l’aria riscaldatasecondo canalizzazioni più complesse, come indicatoal punto 5.4.2, sarà necessario utilizzare il ventilatore“350” o "680" a seconda del modello, predisponendol’intero sistema come indicato precedentemente enelle istruzioni dei kit.

Danach das imTeleskoprohr befestigte Rundeisen mit einer Handnach unten ziehen und in seinen Sitz einfügen.Abschließend die eventuell ins Innere übergelaufeneVersiegelungsmasse entfernen; die Rauchklappeund das Gusseisen-Rauchleitblech wieder wieursprünglich anordnen. Nun ist der Rauchanschlusskomplettiert.

5.9 ECOPALEX UND GEBLÄSE

ECOPALEX kann mit Axialgebläsen geliefert werden,die die Kaminofenleistung durch die Luftumwälzungim Aufstellungsraum verbessert. Andernfalls kann dieLuft laut Punkt 5.3.1 in der Gegenhaube bzw. imangrenzenden Raum mittels Einsatz derLuftverteilungseinheit verteilt werden. Für eineausführlichere Leitung der Konvektionsluft, laut Punkt5.4, ist es notwendig den Ventilatorbausatz « 350 »zu benutzen, wie im Punkt 5.9.2 beschrieben.

5.9.1 Zusätzlicher Bausatz Ventilatorsteuerung

Im ECOPALEX mit Axialgebläsen kann die Zündungund Geschwindigkeitseinstellung über die dafürgeeignete Steuerung erfolgen (Abb. 5.9.1).

VENTILATORSCHALTER

Sollte die Steuerzentrale nicht installiert werden, mussfür das Ein- und Ausschalten der Gebläse eineingebauter, mit den Gebläsen verbundener und mitSchmelzsicherungen ausgestatteter Schaltervorgesehen werden.

Der Stromkreis ist mit einem Mindesttemperaturreglerausgestattet, der den Gebläsebetrieb nur beibrennendem Feuer zulässt (die Ventilatoren setzenje nach Feuerstärke nach 15-20 Minuten ein) und sichnach dem Abkühlen der Struktur ausschaltet. DerECOPALEX kann auch bei ausgeschalteten Gebläsenfunktionieren.

Die Steuereinheit und alle elektrischen Bestandteilemüssen von Fachpersonal und laut den einschlägiggültigen Normen installiert und angeschlossenwerden. Die Steuerzentrale und alle elektrischen Teilemüssen für eventuelle Wartungs- oderReparaturarbeiten erreichbar und abnehmbar sein.

5.9.2 Zusätzlicher Ventilatorbausatz “350” oder“680” mit Steuereinheit

Soll die Luft hingegen laut Punkt 5.4.2 über komplexereLeitungen verteilt werden, ist der Ventilator “350” oder“680”, je nach Modell, zu verwenden und das gesamteSystem, wie bereits vorstehend und in denAnweisungen der Bausätze beschrieben,auszulegen.

6.1 MANUTENZIONE ORDINARIA RIVOLTAALL’UTILIZZATORE

6.1.1 Prima accensione

1. La prima accensione si esegue a fuoco moderato eper un tempo di circa un’ora per permettere il completoassestamento degli eventuali tamponamenti inmuratura sul raccordo fumi e I’essiccazione deimateriali protettivi delle parti metalliche.

2. Accendere il fuoco usando legna sottile e benstagionata in modo che sviluppi il più possibile lafiamma. A fuoco avviato si potranno utilizzare pezzaturedi legna più grandi, purché asciutta ed essiccata. Èvietato bruciare legna verniciata. L’ uso delle conifere(pino, abete) è sconsigliato: contengono elevatequantità di sostanze resinose che intasanovelocemente la canna fumaria.

3. L’apertura della portina va eseguita gradualmenteper permettere ai fumi del focolare di essere aspiratidalla canna fumaria evitando così fuoriuscite di fumoin ambiente. Nell’avviamento del caminetto, quandoil focolare non ha ancora raggiunto la temperaturaottimale, è consigliabile farlo funzionare alcuni minuticon la portina accostata alla sede di battuta, ma nonchiusa, per permettere I’evaporazione della condensache viene a formarsi sul vetro. A fuoco avviato la portinadovrà essere chiusa per ottimizzare il rendimento equindi il consumo di legna.

4. Durante la prima accensione si può verificare laformazione e la fuoriuscita di fumi dovuta alla completaessiccazione delle vernici.

• TIRAGGIO CAMINO - 12 Pa (consigliato)

• SOVRACCARICHI DI LEGNA: provocano anomalesollecitazioni che possono deformare le ghise interne.

Per accendere il fuoco non usare mai alcool, benzina,kerosene o altri combustibili liquidi. Tenere gli stessilontano dal fuoco. Non usare zollette accendi-fuocoderivate dal petrolio o di origine chimica: possonoarrecare gravi danni alle pareti del focolare.Utilizzare esclusivamente zollette accendi-fuoco di tipoecologico.

Durante il funzionamento, eventuali materialiinfiammabili devono essere posti ad almeno 85 cmdalla zona dell’irraggiamento (superfici vetratedell’Ecopalex).

Non toccare le parti verniciate durante le primeaccensioni per evitare danneggiamenti allaverniciatura.

6.1.2 Tipo di combustibile

La stufa va alimentata preferibilmente con legna difaggio/betulla ben stagionata oppure con brichette dilegno. Ciascun tipo di legna possiede caratteristichediverse che influenzano anche il rendimento dellacombustione.

L’uso delle conifere (pino-abete) è sconsigliato:contengono elevate quantità di sostanze resinose cheintasano velocemente la canna fumaria.

6.1 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE FOR THE USER

6.1.1 Lighting the fireplace for the first time

1. The first time you light your fireplace the flamesshould burn at a moderate rate for approximately anhour to allow complete settling of any masonry fillingson the smoke fitting and drying of the protectivematerials of the metallic parts.

2. Light the fire using old and finely chopped wood sothat the flame develops as much as possible. Oncethe fire is going well you can use larger pieces ofwood provided they are dry. It is prohibited to burnpainted wood. The use of conifers, such as pine or fir,is not advisable. They contain high amounts ofresinous substances that rapidly obstruct the flue pipe.

3. The door should be opened gradually so the smokecan be drawn up the flue and not in the room. Whenlighting the fireplace, and until it reaches the righttemperature, it should burn for a few minutes with thedoor ajar so enable the condensation that formson the glass can evaporate. Once the fire is burningwell, close the door to optimise yield and,consequently, wood consumption.

4. The first time you light the fireplace smoke mayform and escape due to the complete drying of thepaints.

• FLUE DRAUGHT - 12 PA (recommended)

• OVERLOADS OF WOOD: cause excessive stress thatcan deform the internal cast iron parts.

Never use alcohol, petrol, kerosene or other liquidfuels to light the fire. Keep these substances far awayfrom the fire. Do not use petrol or chemical origin fire-lighters as they can seriously damage the hearth’swalls.

Only use ecological fire lighting aids.

When the appliance is working, possible inflammablematerials must be placed at a distance of at least 85 cmfrom the radiation surface (glass sides of the hearth).

Do not touch the painted parts during first lightings toavoid damaging the paint finish.

6.1.2 Type of fuel

The stove is to be fed preferably with mature beech orbirch wood or with lignite briquettes.Each type of wood has different characteristics thatalso influence combustion yield.

Use of pinewood (pine, fir) is not recommended as itcontains high quantities of resin substances thatquickly clog the flue.

It is forbidden to burn: pieces of bark, wood treatedwith varnish, pressed wood panels, coal, plasticmaterials; in this case, the guarantee on the applianceis no more valid.

IMPORTANT: the continuous and prolonged burningof wood types rich of aromatic oils (e.g. eucalyptus,myrth, etc.) will cause the rapid corrosion of the castiron parts of the appliance.

6 INBETRIEBNAHME UND GEBRAUCHDES ECOPALEX

6.1 REGELMÄSSIGE INSTANDHALTUNG - FÜR DENBENUTZER

6.1.1 Erste Zündung

1. Die erste Zündung muss bei mittlerem Feuer fürca. eine Stunde erfolgen, damit sich die eventuellenMauererarbeiten an dem Rauchfang-Verbindungsstück setzen und die Schutzmaterialiender metallenen Teile trocknen können.2. Das Feuer mit Hilfe einer geringen Menge ankleineren und gut abgelagerten Holzstückenentzünden, damit sich die Flamme so gut wie möglichentwickeln kann. Sobald das Feuer gut brennt, könnengrößere Holzstücke, die allerdings trocken undabgelagert sein müssen, verwendet werden. Es istverboten, lackiertes Holz zu verbrennen. Es wird davonabgeraten, Koniferen (Pinie, Tanne) zu verwenden:Diese enthalten viele harzige Substanzen, die denRauchfang schnell verstopfen.3. Die Tür stufenweise öffnen, damit der Rauch vonder Feuerstelle in den Rauchfang gesogen werdenkann und nicht in den Raum austritt. Beim Einheizendes kalten Kaminofens sollte die Tür nur angelehntund nicht geschlossen sein, damit dasKondenswasser, das sich auf dem Glas bildet,verdunsten kann. Wenn das Feuer einmal brennt, mussdie Tür geschlossen werden, um auf diese Weise dieLeistung und den Holzverbrauch zu optimieren.4. Bei der ersten Zündung kann es zu Rauchbildungund Rauchaustritt kommen, was auf ein völligesTrocknen der Lacke zurückzuführen ist.

• KAMINABZUG - 12 PA (empfohlen)

• ZU GROSSE HOLZMENGEN: verursachen abnormeBelastungen, wodurch sich das Gusseisen imKaminofen verformen kann.

Zum Anzünden des Feuers nie Alkohol, Benzin,Kerosen oder andere flüssige Brennstoffe verwenden.Diese müssen vom Feuer fern gehalten werden.Keine Feuerzünder-Würfel auf Petrolium- oderchemischer Basis verwenden, da sie die Wände desFeuerraums schwer beschädigen können.

Nur umweltfreundliche Feuerzünder-Würfel benutzen.Wann der Einsatz in Betrieb ist, eventuelle nichtfeuerfeste Materialien müssen mindestens 85 cm vonder Strahlungsoberfläche (Glassscheiben desEinsatzes) entfernt werden.

Während der ersten Zündungen nicht die lackiertenTeile berühren, um die Lackierung nicht zubeschädigen.

6.1.2 Brenstoffe

Der Ofen sollte vorzugsweise mit gut getrocknetemBuchen- bzw. Birkenholz oder aber mitBraunkohlebriketts betrieben werden.Jedes Holz weist individuelle Eigenschaften auf , d.h.jede Holzart wirkt sich unterschiedlich auf dieBrennleistungaus.

ITNon possono essere bruciati: cascami di corteccia,legna trattata con vernici, pannelli, carbone, materialiplastici; in questi casi decade la garanziadell’apparecchio.

IMPORTANTE: l’uso continuo e prolungato di legnaparticolarmente ricca di olii aromatici (es. eucalipto,mirto, ecc.) provoca il deterioramento repentino deicomponenti in ghisa che compongono il prodotto.

La resa nominale in kW della stufa dichiarata, siottiene bruciando una corretta quantità di legna,facendo attenzione a non sovraccaricare la camera dicombustione. La lunghezza ideale della legna è datadalla lunghezza del portaceppi.

La quantità di legna consigliata è indicata nella tabelladel paragrafo 9.

6.1.3 Controllo della combustione

ECOPALEX è dotato del sistema a doppiacombustione (Vedi Pag. 2)

LA COMBUSTIONE PRIMARIA:da origine alla fiamma principale, quella che sisviluppa a contatto con il ceppo; viene favoritaimmettendo aria nel braciere attraverso le feritoie delfrontalino inferiore.La regolazione dell’aria primaria si effettua in mododiverso, in ragione del modello di ECOPALEX considerato:

• ECOPALEX 64 aperto dx e sx (Fig.6.1.3 A)questi modelli presentano una leva nella partecentrale del frontalino inferiore; spostandola verso sxsi diminuisce l’apporto di aria primaria, lo si aumentainvece spostandola a destra.A fuoco avviato, la leva può essere posizionata circa ametà apertura in funzione del tiraggio della cannafumaria e della quantità di aria che si vuol fornire.

• ECOPALEX 64 frontale, 64 tondo, 66, 70 (Fig.6.1.3 B)questi modelli presentano un pomello sulla sinistradel cassetto cenere; spostandolo verso sx sidiminuisce l’apporto di aria primaria, lo si aumentainvece spostandolo a destra.A fuoco avviato, il pomello può essere posizionato acirca metà apertura, in funzione del tiraggio dellacanna fumaria e della quantità di aria che si vuol fornire.

• ECOPALEX 76 (Fig.6.1.3 C)in questo modello la fiamma viene regolata avvitandoo svitando il pomello posto sul cassetto cenere(Fig.6.1.3.1 A).Appena il fuoco sarà avviato ridurre I’apertura a 1-1,5giri in funzione del tiraggio della canna fumaria e dellaquantità di aria che si vuol fornire.

• ECOPALEX 78, 88, INSERTO 66, INSERTO 76questi modelli presentano una leva nella partecentrale del frontalino inferiore (Fig.6.1.3.2 A);spostandola verso sx si diminuisce l’apporto di ariaprimaria, lo si aumenta invece spostandola a destra.A fuoco avviato, la leva può essere posizionata a circametà apertura, in funzione del tiraggio della cannafumaria e della quantità di aria che si vuol fornire.

PRIMARY COMBUSTION:

this gives origin to the main flame that becomes biggerwhen it sets the firewood alight. It is helped by lettingair into the hearth through the slits on the bottom frontpanel.

Primary air is regulated differently according to theECOPALEX model used:

• ECOPALEX 64 open on the right and left (Fig.6.1.3 A)

these models have a lever in the middle of the bottomfront panel: by moving this lever to the left less primaryair is let in while more is let in by moving it to the right.

Once the fire is burning well, put the lever in the halfopen position, depending on the flue draught and onthe quantity of air wanted.

• ECOPALEX 64 front, 64 round, 66, 70(Fig.6.1.3 B)

these models have a knob on the left of the ash box:by moving this knob to the left less primary air is let inwhile more is let in by moving it to the right.

Once the fire is burning well, put the knob in the halfopen position, depending on the flue draught and onthe quantity of air wanted.

• ECOPALEX 76 (Fig.6.1.3 C)

in this model the flame is regulated by loosening ortightening the knob on the ash box (Fig. 6.1.3.1 A)

As soon as the fire is burning, reduce the opening to1-1.5 revs depending on the flue draught and on thequantity of air wanted.

• ECOPALEX 78, 88, INSERTO 66, INSERTO 76

Von der Verwendung von Koniferen (Fichte, Tanne) istabzuraten: sie enthalten eine grosse Mengeharzhaltiger Substanzen, die in kurzer Zeit denRauchfang verschmutzen.

Es ist verboten folgende Materialien zu verbrennen:Rinde, Holz mit Lackbeschichtung, Paneele ausgepresstem Holz, Kohle, Kunststoff. In diesem Fall,entfällt die Garantie.

WICHTIG: die durchgehende und verlängerteVerbrennung von Holzsorten mit aromatischemÖlinhalt (z. B. Eukalyptus, Myrthe, usw.) wird dieschnelle Beschädigung der Gussteilen des Gerätsverursachen.

Die erklärte Nennleistung des Kaminofens in kWerhält man mit der Verbrennung einer korrektenHolzmenge, wobei der Brennraum nicht überladenwerden darf. Die ideale Länge der Holzscheite wirddurch den Holzträger vermittelt.

Die empfohlene Holzmenge ist in der Tabelle desAbschnittes 9 aufgeführt.

6.1.3 Kontrolle der Verbrennung

ECOPALEX ist mit dem System der doppeltenVerbrennung ausgestattet (siehe Seite 3)

DIE PRIMÄRE VERBRENNUNG:erzeugt die Hauptflamme, die sich direkt amHolzscheit entwickelt; sie wird durch die Luftzufuhr indie Feuerstelle über die Schlitze in der unterenFrontblende unterstützt.Die Einstellung der Primärluft erfolgt je nach Modelldes ECOPALEX anders:• ECOPALEX 64 rechts und links offen (Abb. 6.1.3 A)

diese Modelle haben in der Mitte der unterenFrontblende einen Hebel; wird der Hebel nach linksverstellt, wird weniger Primärluft zugeführt - wird er nachrechts verstellt, wird hingegen mehr Primärluft zugeführt.Bei gut brennendem Feuer kann der Hebel in der Mitteder Öffnung belassen werden, je nach Abzug desRauchfangs und der Luftmenge, die gewünscht wird.

• ECOPALEX 64 frontal, 64 rund, 66, 70 (Abb. 6.1.3 B)diese Modelle haben links von der Aschenlade einenKnauf; wird der Knauf nach links verstellt, wird wenigerPrimärluft zugeführt - wird er nach rechts verstellt, wirdhingegen mehr Primärluft zugeführt.Bei gut brennendem Feuer kann der Hebel in der Mitteder Öffnung belassen werden, je nach Abzug desRauchfangs und der Luftmenge, die gewünscht wird.

• ECOPALEX 76 (Abb. 6.1.3 C)in diesem Modell wird die Flamme durch Ein- bzw.Ausschrauben des Knaufs an der Aschenladeeingestellt (Abb.6.1.3.1 A).Sobald das Feuer gut brennt, die Öffnung um 1 bis1,5 Drehungen verkleinern, je nach Abzug desRauchfangs und der Luftmenge, die gewünscht wird.

• ECOPALEX 78, 88, INSERTO 66, INSERTO 76 dieseModelle haben in der Mitte der unteren Frontblendeeinen Hebel ; wird der (Abb. 6.1.3.2 A); Hebel nachlinks verstellt, es wird weniger Primärluft zugeführt -wird er nachrechts verstellt, wird hingegen mehrPrimärluft zugeführt. • ECOPALEX 64 frontale, 64 tondo, 66, 70, 76 (Fig.6.1.3E) questi modelli presentano una leva in posizionecentrale del cassetto cenere; spostandola verso sx sidiminuisce l’apporto di aria primaria, lo si aumentainvece spostandola a destra.A fuoco avviato, la leva può essere posizionata a circametà apertura, in funzione del tiraggio della cannafumaria e della quantità di aria che si vuol fornire.

Alla prima accensione della giornata, o in presenza dilegna umida, è consigliabile aprire completamenteI’aria primaria per facilitarne I’accensione.

LA COMBUSTIONE SECONDARIA:si ottiene immettendo nel focolare aria preriscaldataattraverso i fori posti sulla parte superiore della paretedi fondo. Entrando nel focolare I’aria incendia il gasincombusto (monossido di carbonio) formatosi dallacombustione primaria, trasformandolo in anidridecarbonica (CO

2). L’effetto è ben visibile per la

formazione di un tappeto di fiamme in corrispondenzadei fori di entrata dell’aria secondaria.Una conseguenza della combustione secondaria èI’aumento del rendimento rispetto a caminetti dotatidella sola aria primaria: ECOPALEX raggiungerendimenti fino all’80%.

6.1.4 Scuotigriglia (Fig. 6.1.3.1)(esclusi Ecopalex serie N)

Gli ECOPALEX sono dotati di uno scuoti grigliaazionabile con la manopola B (ad esclusione del Mod.64, Inserto H66, H76 ed Ecopalex 78, 88).

Durante l'accensione e il funzionamento il cassettocenere deve essere sempre chiuso. Per assestare lalegna che sta bruciando ruotare la manopola B insenso orario.

6.1.5 Regolazione valvola fumi

Gli ECOPALEX della nuova serie (ad esclusione delMod. 64 e dell'Inserto H 66 e Inserto H 76) sono dotatidi una farfalla fumi che consente di regolare il tiraggioin funzione delle dimensioni della canna fumaria.La regolazione della farfalla fumi deve essereeseguita a caminetto freddo.

In presenza di canne fumarie di sezione piccola econ poca altezza, si può aumentare il tiraggio delcaminetto a portina chiusa operando come segue:

1) Estrazione del deflettore fumi (Fig. 6.1.5.1)Aprire la portina dell’ECOPALEX. Sollevareleggermente e tirare in avanti il deflettore fumi (1) inmodo da poterlo sfilare dal supporto superiore (Part.A)e da quelli laterali posti sui fianchi. Inclinare il deflettorein senso diagonale ed estrarlo (Fig. 6.1.5.2).

2) Regolazione della farfalla fumiAllentare il dado con una chiave fissa da 13, avvitarel’asta con un cacciavite (2 Fig. 6.1.5.3), bloccarenuovamente il dado. Rimettere in sede il deflettore fumi.

GB DOnce the fire is burning well, put the lever in the halfopen position, depending on the flue draught and onthe quantity of air wanted.

When lighting the fire at the beginning of the day or ifthe firewood is damp, we suggest opening the primaryair completely to make lighting easier.

SECONDARY COMBUSTION:

This is obtained by letting preheated air through theholes at the top of the back panel. As it enters thefireplace the air lights the unburned gasses (carbonmonoxide) formed during primary combustion andtransforms them into carbon monoxide (CO2). Theeffect is easy to see by the formation of a bed of flamesaround the holes where the secondary air is let in.

Another effect of secondary combustion is the increasein yield compared to chimneys with primary air only:ECOPALEX reaches yields of over 80%.

6.1.4 Grille shaker (Fig. 6.1.3.1)(except for Ecopalex series N)

The new series of ECOPALEX appliances is fitted witha grid shaker, operated with knob B (except for models64, Inserto H66, H76 and Ecopalex 78, 88).

When lighting the fire and while it is burning, the ashbox must always be closed. To settle the firewood thatis burning, turn knob B clockwise.

6.1.5 Smoke regulator diaphragm

The new series of ECOPALEX (except for models 64,Inserto H66 and Inserto H76) features a smokebutterfly regulator diaphragm that is used to adjustdraught based on flue dimensions.

The smoke butterfly regulator diaphragm must beadjusted when the fireplace is cold.

If the flue has a small cross section and is not veryhigh, you can increase fireplace draught with the doorclosed as follows:

1) Extracting the smoke diaphragm (Fig. 6.1.5.1)

Open the ECOPALEX door. Slightly lift the smokediaphragm and pull it towards you (1) so you can pullit out from the top (Part . A) and side supports. Slantthe diaphragm diagonally and pull it out (Fig. 6.1.5.2).

2) Adjusting the smoke butterfly diaphragmLoosen the nut with a size 13 fixed spanner, screwdown the rod with a screwdriver (2 Fig. 6.1.5.3), tightenthe nut again. Put the smoke diaphragm back in place.

If it is not adjusted appropriately, recalibrate thebutterfly diaphragm until combustion is good.

A flame that is too strong does not mean thatcombustion is good and must be corrected byadjusting the combustion air and the smokediaphragm.

Bei gut brennendem Feuer kann derHebel in der Mitte der Öffnung belassen werden, jenach Abzug des Rauchfangs und der Luftmenge, diegewünscht wird.

•ECOPALEX 64 frontal, 64 rund, 66, 70, 76 (Abb. 6.1.3E) diese Modelle haben intermitte von der Aschenladeeinen Hebel; wird der Hebel nach links verstellt, wirdweniger Primärluft zugeführt - wird er nach rechtsverstellt, wird hingegen mehr Primärluft zugeführt. Beigut brennendem Feuer kann der Hebel in der Mitteder Öffnung belassen werden, je nach Abzug desRauchfangs und der Luftmenge, die gewünscht wird.

DIE SEKUNDÄRE VERBRENNUNG:erhält man durch Zufuhr von vorgeheizter Luft durchdie auf dem oberen Teil des Unterbodens des Ofensbefindlichen Öffnungen in die Feuerstelle. Die Luftentzündet durch ihren Eintritt in die Feuerstelle dasnoch unverbrannte Gas (Kohlenmonoxyd), das sichwährend der primären Verbrennung gebildet hat, undwandelt dieses in Kohlendioxyd (CO2) um. DieserVorgang ist an den Flammen, die sich um dieÖffnungen der Sekundärluft bilden, gut sichtbar.Eine weitere Auswirkung der sekundären Verbrennungist eine Leistungssteigerung gegenüber Kaminen, dienur über Primärluft verfügen: ECOPALEX erreicht biszu 80% Heizleistung.

6.1.4 Rostrüttler (Abb. 6.1.3.1)(ausser Ecopalex Reihe N)

Die ECOPALEX der neuen Serie (ausgenommen Mod.64) sind mit einem Rostrüttler ausgestattet, der durchden Knauf B betätigt wird. (Mit Ausnahme von derModelle 64, Inserto H66, H76 und Ecopalex 78, 88).Während des Zündens und des Betriebs muss dieAschenlade immer geschlossen sein. Um diebrennenden Holzscheite gerade zu rütteln, den KnaufB im Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

6.1.5 Einstellung Rauchreglerventil

Die ECOPALEX der neuen Serie (ausgenommen Mod.64) sind mit einem Rauchreglerventil ausgestattet,womit der Abzug je nach Abmessungen des Rauchfangseingestellt werden kann.

Das Rauchreglerventil muss bei kaltem Kaminofeneingestellt werden.

Bei recht kurzen Rauchfängen mit geringemDurchmesser kann der Abzug des Kaminofens beigeschlossener Tür wie folgt erhöht werden:

1) Abnahme des Rauchleiterblechs (Abb. 6.1.5.1)Die Tür des ECOPALEX öffnen. Das Rauchleiterblech(1) etwas anheben und nach vorne ziehen, damit es

IT7 MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA

7.1 PRECAUZIONI DI SICUREZZA

Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione dimanutenzione adottare le seguenti precauzioni:A) Assicurarsi che tutte le parti del caminetto sianofredde.B) Accertarsi che le ceneri siano completamentespente.C) Utilizzare i dispositivi di protezione individualeprevisti dalla direttiva 89/391/CEE.D) Operare sempre con attrezzature appropriate perla manutenzione.

7.2 PULIZIA DEL VETRO (FIG. 7.2)

Durante il funzionamento del caminetto è possibilefavorire la pulizia del vetro ceramico attraverso la leva(D) di Fig. 7.2. Questa normalmente deve essereposizionata verso flusso chiuso. Se la leva vienespostata si apre un flusso d’aria che investe lasuperficie del vetro ceramico, favorendone la pulizia.

Per effettuare la pulizia completa del vetro ènecessario attendere lo spegnimento ed ilraffreddamento del caminetto ed effettuare la puliziaa freddo. Si effettua con un panno umido o con unapalla di carta di giornale, inumidita e passata nellacenere, strofinando il vetro fino alla pulizia completa.

Talvolta tale precedura può non essere sufficiente: sipuò ricorrere allora all’utilizzo di appositi detergenti,avendo cura però di spruzzare il prodotto su un pannoasciutto e non direttamente sul vetro del caminetto osulle parti verniciate circostanti.

In condizioni normali il vetro tende ad annerirsi in fasedi accensione e a schiarire durante il funzionamento.

Il vetro ceramico resiste benissimo alle altetemperature, ma è fragile, quindi NON URTARE.

7.3 PULIZIA DELLA CENERE

• Modelli con vetro solo FRONTALEII cassetto porta cenere va svuotato a caminettospento; vi si può accedere dall’esterno e il suofrontalino è visibile sul lato inferioredell’apparecchiatura.

• Modelli con VETRO LATERALE DESTRO O SINISTROII cassetto porta cenere va svuotato a caminetto spento;si estrae dopo aver aperto la portina e sollevato la griglia.

• Inserto H66 H76Il cassetto porta cenere va svuotato a caminettospento; vi si accede aprendo la portina ed estraendoil cassetto nella parte inferiore dell'apparecchiatura.

• Modello 78, 88II cassetto porta cenere va svuotato a caminettospento; il frontalino è visibile sul lato inferiore. Vi sipuò accedere dopo aver aperto la portadell’apparecchiatura. L'apertura si effettua dopo averruotato, in senso antiorario, la leva posta nel latointerno del cassetto.

È consigliabile svuotare la cenere regolarmente pergarantire un ottimale afflusso di aria per lacombustione.

GB D7 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING


Before carrying out any maintenance work, take thefollowing precautions:

A) Ensure that all parts of the fireplace are completelycold.

B) Ensure that the ashes are completely out.

C) Use individual safety gear as set forth by directive89/391/EEC.

D) Always use appropriate tools for maintenance.

7.2 CLEANING THE GLASS (FIG. 7.2)

While the fireplace is being used it is easier to cleanthe pyroceram with lever (D) of Fig. 7.2. This lever isnormally positioned on flow closed. If it is moved, theflow of air is opened which blows against thepyroceram making it easier to clean.

If the deposits that form during combustion do notdisappear with the above procedure, you will have towait for the fire to go out and then clean when thefireplace is cold. To clean use a damp cloth or a ball ofnewspaper that must be moistened and dipped in theash – rub the glass until it is completely clean.

At times, this procedure may not be enough. You canthen use appropriate detergents; however, be sureyou spray the product on a dry cloth and not directly onthe glass of the fireplace or the surrounding paintedparts.

Under normal conditions, the glass does tend to turnblack when you light the fire but this disappears oncethe fire is burning.

Pyroceram resists high temperatures very well, butit is fragile, so DO NOT STRIKE IT.

7.3 GETTING RID OF THE ASHES

• Models with glass on the FRONT only

The ash box must be emptied when the fire is out; youcan access it from the outside and its front panel canbe seen at the bottom of the fireplace.

• Models with GLASS ON THE RIGHT OR LEFT SIDE

The ash box must be emptied when the fire is out;extract it after having opened the door and lifted thegrille.

• INSERTO H 66 H 76

The ash box must be emptied when the fire is out;access it by opening the door and pulling it out fromthe bottom of the fireplace.

• Model 78, 88

The ash box must be emptied when the fire is out; thefront can be seen at the bottom. Access it by openingthe door of the fireplace. Open after having turned thelever on the inside of the box clockwise.

It is advisable to throw the ashes away regularly toguarantee an optimum flow of air for combustion.

7 INSTANDHALTUNG UND REINIGUNG


Vor jedem Wartungseingriff unbedingt folgendeSicherheitsmaßnahmen treffen:

A) Sicherstellen, dass alle Kaminofenteile kalt sind.

B) Sicherstellen, dass die Asche komplett erloschenist.

C) Die laut Richtlinie 89/391/EWG vorgesehenenindividuellen Schutzvorrichtungen anwenden.

D) Für die Wartung immer geeignetes Werkzeugverwenden.

7.2 REINIGUNG DER GLASSCHEIBE

Während des Betriebs des Kaminofens kann dieReinigung des Keramikglases über den Hebel (D)aus Abb. 7.2 unterstützt werden. Normalerweisemuss dieser Hebel nach Luftstrom geschlossenstehen. Stellt man den Hebel, wird der Luftstrom zumKeramikglas hin geöffnet, wodurch sich das Glassauberer hält.

Für eine komplette Reinigung des Glases mussabgewartet werden, bis der Kamin abschaltet undabgekühlt ist, damit die Glasscheibe beiausgekühltem Kaminofen gereinigt werden kann.

Das Glas entweder mit einem feuchten Lappen oder mitfeuchtem, in der Asche gewälztem Zeitungspapier säubern.

Dieses Vorgehen kann sich als ungenügenderweisen: In diesem Fall können entsprechendeReiniger verwendet werden. Dieser muss jedoch mitSorgfalt auf einen trockenen Lappen und nicht direktauf das Glas des Kaminofens oder auf dieangrenzenden lackierten Teile gespritzt werden.

Unter normalen Bedingungen schwärzt sich das Glaswährend des Zündens und hellt dann während desBetriebs wieder auf.

Das Keramikglas widersteht ausgezeichnet hohenTemperaturen, ist aber zerbrechlich, daherSCHLÄGE VERMEIDEN.

7.3 REINIGUNG DER ASCHENLADE

• Modelle mit nur FRONTGLAS

Die Aschenlade muss bei ausgekühltem Kaminofenentleert werden; die Lade ist von außen zugänglich und ihreFrontblende ist im unteren Gerätebereich gut ersichtlich.

• Modelle mit SEITLICH RECHTEM ODER LINKEM GLAS

Die Aschenlade muss bei ausgekühltem Kaminofenentleert werden; die Tür öffnen, das obere Gitteranheben und die Aschenlade herausziehen.

• Inserto H66 und H76

Die Aschenlade muss bei ausgekühltem Kaminofenentleert werden; die Tür öffnen und die Aschenladeaus dem unteren Geräteteil herausziehen.

• Modell 78, 88

Die Aschenlade muss bei ausgekühltem Kaminofenentleert werden; die Vorderseite ist im unteren Teilsichtbar. Man erreicht sie, durch das Öffnen derGerätetür. Sie öffnety sich durch Drehen des Hebels

IT7.4 PULIZIA DELLA CANNA FUMARIA

La pulizia della canna fumaria va effettuata almenouna volta all’anno prima del periodo di accensionedel caminetto, e comunque ogni qualvolta si noti cheall’interno della conduttura si sia formato uno stratodi fuliggine e catramina, sostanza facilmenteinfiammabile.

Durante la pulizia consigliamo di togliere il deflettorefumi posto in corrispondenza dell’uscita fumi perfavorire la caduta della caligine; il deflettore variposizionato a pulizia ultimata.

Attenzione! La mancanza del deflettore provoca unaforte depressione (effetto forgia) con una combustionetroppo veloce ed irregolare consumo di legna.

7.5 SCARSO TIRAGGIO DEI FUMI

Se si verifica alle prime accensioni controllare che lacanna fumaria non sia ostruita da calcinacci, da nididi uccelli o altro nel comignolo. Inoltre il raccordo traECOPALEX e la canna fumaria deve essere eseguitosecondo le istruzioni, senza strozzature e chiusoermeticamente nelle giunzioni con la canna fumaria.Se questo inconveniente si verifica dopo un periododi normale funzionamento è necessario verificare epulire la canna fumaria.

8 INFORMAZIONI PER LA DEMOLIZIONEE LO SMALTIMENTO

La demolizione e lo smaltimento dell’apparecchiosono ad esclusivo carico e responsabilità delproprietario.

Smantellamento e smaltimento possono essereaffidati anche a terzi, purchè si ricorra sempre a ditteautorizzate al recupero ed all'eliminazione deimateriali in questione.

Attenersi sempre e comunque alle normative in vigorenel paese dove si opera per losmaltimento dei materiali ed eventualmente per ladenuncia di smaltimento.

Tutte le operazioni di smontaggio per la demolizionedevono avvenire ad apparecchio fermo.

• rottamare il prodotto tramite le ditte autorizzate.

L'abbandono dell’apparecchio in aree accessibilicostituisce un grave pericolo per persone ed animali.

La responsabilità per eventuali danni a persone edanimali ricade sempre sul proprietario.

All’atto della demolizione la marcatura CE, ilpresente manuale e gli altri documenti relativi aquesto apparecchio dovranno essere distrutti.

GB D7.4 CLEANING THE FLUE

UNI 10683 Standard.

The flue pipe must be cleaned at least once a yearprior to the period of use of the fireplace, or any timeyou notice that tar and soot have accumulated in thepipe, which are highly flammable.

At any rate, clean at least once a year. When cleaningwe suggest removing the smoke diaphragm from thesmoke outlet to enable the soot to fall, to be replacedonce cleaned.

Warning! If the diaphragm is not put back there wouldbe a strong depression (forge effect)and the woodwould burn too quickly and irregularly.

7.5 POOR SMOKE DRAUGHT

If this occurs the first times you light the fireplace, checkthat the flue is not clogged with masonry debris, birds’nests or anything else in the chimney top. Furthermore,the ECOPALEX and flue should be connectedaccording to the instructions, without any chokes andwith the flue fittings hermetically sealed. If this problemoccurs after a period of normal operation check andclean the flue.

8 INFORMATION FOR DEMOLITION ANDDISPOSAL

Demolition and disposal of the fireplace is the soleresponsibility of the owner.Dismantling and disposal may be entrusted to a thirdparty provided we are talking about a companyauthorised to salvage and eliminate said materials.

In all cases you must abide by the laws in force in thecountry of installation as regards the disposal ofmaterials and, if necessary, the report of disposal.

All dismantling operations for demolition must takeplace when the fireplace is still.

• contact the local authorised waste disposal companyto scrap the stove structure

Dumping the product in accessible areas is a serioushazard for both people and animals.

The owner is always responsible for injury to peopleand animals.

When the fireplace is demolished, the EC mark, thismanual and all the other documents relative to itmust be destroyed.

7.4 REINIGUNG DES RAUCHFANGS

Norm UNI 10683

Der Rauchfang muss mindestens ein Mal jährlich vordem Zeitraum, in dem der Kamin eingeschaltet wird,gereinigt werden sowie immer dann, wenn sich imRohr eine Schicht Ruß und Teer abgesetzt hat, wovonletztere äußerst leicht entflammbar ist.

Es wird empfohlen, die Reinigung mindestenseinmal pro Jahr durchzuführen. Während derReinigung sollten das Rauchleiterblech von seinemPlatz, in der Nähe des Rauchausgangs entferntwerden, damit der Russ herausfallen kann. DasRauchleiterblech muss nach der Reinigung wiederan seinem Platz angeordnet werden.

Achtung! Das Fehlen des Rauchleiterblechsverursacht einen starken Druckabfall (Blasebalgeffekt)mit einer zu schnellen und unregelmäßigenVerbrennung des Holzes.

7.5 TRÄGER RAUCHABZUG

Sollte sich dies bei den ersten Zündungen ereignen,muss kontrolliert werden, dass der Rauchfang nichtmit Mörtel, Vogelnestern oder ähnlichem imSchornstein verstopft ist. Außerdem muss dieVerbindung zwischen dem ECOPALEX und demRauchabzug unter Beachtung der Anweisungen ohneVerengungen durchgeführt werden und an denVerbindungsstellen hermetisch verschlossen sein.Sollte diese Gegebenheit nach einer normalenBetriebszeit auftreten, muss der Rauchfangkontrolliert und gereinigt werden.

8 INFORMATIONEN FÜR DEN ABRISSUND DIE ENTSORGUNG

Der Abriss und die Entsorgung des Kaminofens gehtganz und gar zu Lasten des Eigentümers.Mit dem Abriss und der Entsorgung können auch Firmenbeauftragt werden, die für die Sammlung und Entsorgungder betroffenen Materialien zugelassen sind.

Immer die einschlägigen Normen des jeweiligenLands für die Entsorgung und eventuelleEntsorgungsmeldung einhalten.

Das Zerlegen des Produkts für seine Entsorgung darfausschließlich bei stillstehendem Gerät erfolgen.• die Struktur des Gerätes über befugte Unternehmenentsorgen.

Die Verwahrlosung des Kaminofens an zugänglichenStellen stellt eine große Gefahr für Personen und Tieredar.Die Verantwortung für eventuelle Schäden anPersonen und Tieren trägt immer der Eigentümer.

Beim Abriss müssen das CE-Markenzeichen, diesesHandbuch und alle Unterlagen zu diesem Kaminofensvernichtet werden.
