Heat is mainly generated behind the heater in

the space between the panel and the wall, which

leads to an efficient up-draught of heat circulated

into the room. (The heated air comes out from

behind the heater at the speed of 0,7m per

second!) This principle of natural convection

means that about 90% of the heat in the room

comes from the back of the panel, while only

10% is radiated from the front. Convection

heating (room heater) is far more effective than

radiated heating (freestanding, locality heater).

WHAT SIZE ROOM WILL IT HEAT?It has been specifically designed to heat an average sizeroom of about 3m x 4m (12m2). You can add as manyheaters as you like to heat any size room or home, creatinga cost-effective central heating system.

DO I STILL NEED IT IF I HAVE CENTRAL HEATING INMY HOME?Indeed, the Econo-Heat wall panel heater can be usedin conjunction with central heating installations to helpyou save on central heating costs. By using the Econo-Heat wall panel heater at the beginning or end of winteryou can create heat more economically and keep thecentral heating switched off for longer.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO HEAT MY ROOM?It will take approximately 15 minutes for the panel heaterto reach its maximum surface temperature and not muchlonger to heat the room, depending on the nature ofthe room.

HOW DOES IT WORK?Like a central heating system, it uses the principle ofhot air rising, or convection heating. This very economicform of “background” heating is safe and efficient.

HOW ECONOMICAL IS IT?It is probably the most economical heater on themarket. Because the heater is of such a low wattage,it uses very little electricity – as little as fourincandescent light bulbs!

HOW CAN THAT BE EFFECTIVE?There is a constant circulation of hot air rising from alarge surface area between the heater and the wall.There is also a constant flow of direct heat radiatingfrom the surface. These two forms of heating result inan effective and inexpensive heating system.

IS IT SAFE FOR CHILDREN AND PETS?Yes! The panel heater has no exposed elements anda safe surface temperature of approximately 75 - 90°Cdepending on the ambient temperature.

Improved on-board ON/OFF switch: The on-board On/Off switch is now conveniently located behind the wall panel heater with onlythe switch protruding slightly from the side. The low intensity light onthe switch lights up when the heater is switched on, making it easy to check the status of the heater.Improved appearance: The corners of the heater now have a rounded finish in step with latest interior design trends to give the heatera more elegant and modern appearance.New easy-to-use mounting template: The polystyrene packing that protects the wall panel heater inside its box now has four holesthat correspond with the mounting holes of the heater. Use these holes as a template and a spirit level to effortlessly mark the positionof the four holes on the wall.New convenient carrying handle: Carrying the newly purchased heater is easy now with the new convenient carrying handle in theside of the heater’s packaging box. New Econo-Kit: The new patented Econo-Kit ensures easy installation and also prevents tension on the board by allowing for slightmovement as the heater board heats up.
