1. INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES
Cuando se utilicen aparatos eléctricos se deben seguir siempre unas precauciones básicas para reducir el riesgo de fuego,
electrocución y daños a las personas, incluyendo las siguientes:
• Este equipo está caliente cuando funciona. Para evitar
quemaduras no toque con la piel superficies calientes.
• Mantenga materiales combustibles, tales como muebles,
almohadas, ropa de cama, papeles, ropa, cortinas, etc. al menos
a 30cm del frontal, laterales y parte posterior del equipo.
• Es esencial que las distancias libres indicadas sean respetadas.
• PRECAUCIÓN – Algunas partes de este equipo pueden
ponerse muy calientes y causar quemaduras. Se debe prestar
especial atención si están presentes niños o personas con
capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas.
• Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurar que no jueguen
con el aparato.
• Este aparato no está destinado a ser usado por personas
(incluidos niños) cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o
mentales estén reducidas
• Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños mayores de 8 años y
por personas cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales
estén reducidas o carezcan de conocimiento del uso del aparato, sólo si son supervisados o instruidos por una persona
responsable de su seguridad en lo concerniente al uso del aparato de una manera segura y entienden los riesgos implícitos.
Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. La limpieza y el mantenimiento no debe ser realizada por niños sin supervisión.
• Niños de más de 3 años y menos de 8 años sólo podrán conectar y desconectar el aparato suponiendo que ha sido instalado
o colocado en su posición normal de operación y que han sido supervisados o instruidos en el uso del aparato de una manera
segura y entienden los riesgos implícitos. Niños de más de 3 años y menos de 8 años no podrán enchufar, regular ni realizar
la limpieza o mantenimiento del aparato.
• Niños de menos de 3 años deben mantenerse alejados a menos de que se les supervise de manera continua.
• No intente reparar el aparato de calefacción si presenta un funcionamiento anormal o fallo. Desconecte el equipo del cuadro
de protección de la vivienda y haga que sea revisado por un electricista cualificado antes de volver a utilizarlo.
• No utilice el aparato en exteriores.
• Para desconectar el aparato, ponga el interruptor en la posición apagado y desconecte del cuadro de protección de la
vivienda.
• No inserte ni permita que objetos extraños entren a través de las rejillas de ventilación o de salida de aire ya que esto puede
causar una descarga eléctrica o dañar el aparato.
• No utilizar este aparato para secar ropa. Para prevenir incendios no obstruya ninguna entrada o salida de aire. Las entradas y
salida de aire proporcionan un funcionamiento correcto y previenen el sobrecalentamiento. NO CUBRIR las entradas o
salida de aire.
• El aparato tiene en su interior partes calientes y componentes que producen chispas. No utilizar en sitios donde gasolina,
pinturas o vapores o líquidos inflamables se utilicen o almacenen. El uso de estos equipos está prohibido en locales donde
haya gases, explosivos o se manipulen sustancias inflamables.
• Utilice este equipo únicamente como se describe en este manual. Cualquier otro uso no recomendado por el fabricante
puede causar fuego, descarga eléctrica o daño a las personas.
• GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES. Este manual debe ser conservado y dado a cualquier nuevo usuario.
Advertencia: Para evitar sobrecalentamientos, no cubrir el aparato de calefacción.
2. INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
Los símbolos utilizados en el texto se explican a continuación:
PELIGRO Esta indicación muestra la posibilidad de causar muerte por electrocución.
PELIGRO Esta indicación muestra la posibilidad de causar muerte o graves lesiones.
PRECAUCIÓN Esta indicación muestra la posibilidad de causar sólo lesiones o daños materiales.

IMPORTANTE: Los procedimientos de cableado y de conexión deben estar de acuerdo con los reglamentos nacionales y
locales en vigor.
• La garantía no cubrirá cualquier daño causado por la no observancia de alguna de estas instrucciones.
• La instalación del aparato debe realizarse de acuerdo con la legislación eléctrica vigente. La instalación o reinstalación, y la
puesta en servicio debe ser realizada por un instalador eléctrico cualificado.
• Ni el cable de conexión ni otros objetos deben estar en contacto con el acumulador.
• Compruebe que el voltaje de la placa de características del equipo coincide con el voltaje de la red donde se va a conectar.
• Es imprescindible que el aparato esté conectado a una buena toma de tierra.
• El aparato no debe estar situado justamente debajo de una toma de corriente.
• Este aparato deberá instalarse de forma que los interruptores y otros dispositivos de mando no puedan ser tocados por
una persona que esté en la bañera o ducha.
• Si durante la instalación y ensamblaje del aparato, una parte del aislamiento térmico muestra daños o deterioro que
perjudiquen la seguridad del aparato, deberá ser reemplazada por una pieza idéntica.
• Desconecte el aparato de la instalación en el cuadro de protección de la vivienda antes de realizar cualquier reparación.
Este también debe realizarse si se quiere dejar fuera de servicio.
• Este aparato está destinado a ser permanentemente conectado a una instalación fija. El circuito de alimentación del equipo
debe incorporar un interruptor de corte omnipolar con una separación de contactos de al menos 3 mm.
• El tiempo de carga nominal de este acumulador está indicado en su placa de características.
• Después del montaje, vigilar la primera carga hasta verificar la interrupción de la misma por el control de carga. Durante
este ciclo airear la habitación.
• No abrir nunca el aparato estando esté cargado.
• Para mantener la estabilidad, es esencial que el acumulador esté colocado en una superficie lisa y se tendrá cuidado en
evitar superficies irregulares de alfombras o baldosas.
• La presencia en el ambiente de humo de tabaco o partículas en suspensión, polución atmosférica, etc., puede, oscurecer las
superficies de paredes cercanas al acumulador.
• Una puesta en hora incorrecta, una programación errónea de las horas de tarifa reducida, así como consignas de
temperatura demasiado elevadas pueden provocar un elevado coste en la factura de electricidad.
Para realizar la correcta instalación del ECOMBI Plus es necesario seguir los siguientes pasos:
1.- Elija el emplazamiento del ECOMBI Plus teniendo en cuenta las distancias entre él y los muebles o cortinas de su entorno.
Para reducir el riesgo de incendio no utilice o almacene gasolina, pinturas, vapores o líquidos inflamables en las proximidades.
2.- Abra el embalaje por el lugar indicado y fije los soportes sin sacar el acumulador.
Dé la vuelta a la caja de forma que el acumulador se apoye sobre los soportes y retire el embalaje. Compruebe que el modelo
de acumulador corresponde al solicitado y que se encuentra en perfectas condiciones. Compruebe que todos los accesorios han
sido suministrados.
- 1 chasis Ecombi Plus.
- 1 bolsa con 2 tornillos y 2 tacos.
- 2 soportes.
- Este manual.
i El chasis y los bloques de acumulación se suministran de forma separada.
Compruebe que los bloques suministrados corresponden con los indicados en el
embalaje de cartón.
i El funcionamiento del equipo no se ve afectado si se utilizan bloques con
pequeños defectos.

3.- Retire el panel frontal quitando los dos tornillos de su parte inferior.
4.- Coloque el ECOMBI Plus en la zona donde va a ser instalado y marque con un lápiz los puntos de fijación a la pared. El
propio acumulador le servirá de plantilla. Retire el acumulador y realice los taladros necesarios para los tacos suministrados.
Apuntar los tornillos en los tacos sin apretar del todo antes de encajar el acumulador en ellos.
5.- Atornille el ECOMBI Plus a los tacos. EL ECOMBI PLUS NO DEBE QUEDAR COLGADO DE LOS TORNILLOS, estos son
para evitar el vuelco, no para sostenerlo. En caso de duda sobre la resistencia de la pared, debe consultarse con un experto en
construcción. Estos aparatos son muy pesados y es necesario que el instalador se responsabilice de que no exista ninguna
posibilidad de vuelco.
6.- Realice la conexión eléctrica del ECOMBI Plus, según el esquema eléctrico. Apriete adecuadamente los tornillos de la regleta
de conexión. No deje cable sobrante en el interior del aparato.
PELIGRO Tocar conexiones activas puede ocasionar serios daños físicos.
7.- Desconecte la resistencia de aluminio retirando el conector faston del lado derecho. Desconecte el faston del limitador
térmico y retirando los tornillos que sujetan el panel de cierre interior, desmonte dicho panel.
PELIGRO Los bordes metálicos pueden cortar.

A continuación, retire los tornillos que sujetan el panel de cierre interior y desmonte dicho panel.
PRECAUCIÓN En la parte posterior de esta chapa se
encuentra adherido un delicado panel de aislamiento
MICROTHERM, se debe manejar con extraordinario cuidado,
procure no tocarlo.
8.- No desconecte las resistencias eléctricas del aparato. Retire las protecciones de cartón. Levante las resistencias y vuélquelas
hacia delante, con cuidado de no dañar los aislamientos.
9.- Coloque los ladrillos cuidadosamente contra el fondo del aparato, disponiéndolos en dos pisos y con la cara lisa hacia atrás.

10.- Sitúe de nuevo las resistencias en su posición inicial, de forma vertical. Coloque el piso inferior de ladrillos con la cara lisa
hacia el exterior y sobre las lengüetas de las resistencias. Acabe de montar los ladrillos, colocando el piso superior.
11.- Vuelva a montar el panel de cierre interior, solapando la parte inferior. Si el montaje de los ladrillos ha sido correcto no
encontrará ninguna dificultad. Asegúrese de que la parte inferior del panel frontal queda correctamente solapada con la pestaña
inferior. Vea a continuación:
12.- Conecte los dos faston a la resistencia de aluminio y al limitador térmico.
13.- Coloque el panel frontal, primero encajando los salientes de la parte superior y después empujando la parte de debajo de tal
forma que la solapa inferior del panel se apoye en los resaltes de los soportes de plástico.
14.- Atornille el panel frontal.
REINSTALACIÓN
PELIGRO: Cualquier reinstalación en otra ubicación debe ser realizada por un instalador autorizado.
Si durante la reinstalación algún aislamiento térmico muestra algún daño debe ser retirado y reemplazado por uno idéntico.
LIMITADOR TÉRMICO CON REARME MANUAL
Este equipo utiliza un limitador de temperatura con rearme manual (ver LR en el esquema eléctrico).
Este dispositivo de seguridad actúa cuando se alcanzan temperaturas elevadas en el interior del equipo. Requiere un rearme
manual cuando el equipo se enfríe. Se debe investigar la causa del sobrecalentamiento.
PELIGRO: El rearme manual debe ser realizado solamente por un técnico cualificado.
Desconecte el equipo del cuadro de protección.
Retire el panel frontal quitando los dos tornillos de la parte inferior. Localice el limitador LR en el esquema eléctrico y pulse el
pequeño pin hasta que se escuche un “click”.

3.- MODO DE EMPLEO
PRECAUCIÓN: NO UTILICE ESTE APARATO PARA SECAR ROPA. No cubra el equipo en ningún momento.
CONECTAR / DESCONECTAR
Interruptor general. Todos los modelos disponen de un interruptor en la parte posterior que
permite la desconexión total del ECOMBI Plus.
TECLADO:
ENCENDIDO / APAGADO
Una vez que el acumulador está conectado al suministro eléctrico, accione el interruptor general situado en la parte posterior
del acumulador a la posición ON para encender el acumulador.
ILUMINACIÓN DISPLAY
Al pulsar cualquier tecla la pantalla se ilumina con un suave color blanco. Al cabo de un tiempo sin pulsar ninguna tecla la
iluminación se apaga.

diferentes parámetros.

SELECCIÓN DEL MODO DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
Pulse , los modos de funcionamiento se muestran en pantalla, con el modo
de funcionamiento actual parpadeando. Utilice o para seleccionar el
modo de funcionamiento deseado. Confirme con .
El acumulador dispone de 3 modos de funcionamiento: Auto, Manual y OFF.
- Auto: La temperatura de consigna varía de acuerdo al programa
semanal establecido en la unidad. 3 niveles de temperatura (Confort,
Eco y Antihielo) pueden ser seleccionados para cada intervalo de
tiempo (1 hora) para ajustar la temperatura de la estancia a los hábitos
y necesidades de los diferentes usuarios.
- Manual: El acumulador mantendrá la temperatura de consigna
seleccionada ignorando la programación establecida.
- OFF: El acumulador no mantiene ninguna temperatura ni sigue ninguna
programación, manteniendo la configuración horario establecida
previamente.
MODO AUTO– Niveles de temperatura
Para modificar el valor de la temperatura de consigna en el programa de manera
permanente, pulse y suelte la tecla . Se muestra en el display el icono de
temperatura parpadeando .
Ahora pulse para seleccionar la temperatura que desea modificar, Confort,
Eco o Antihielo. Utilice y para seleccionar el valor de temperatura
deseado.
Es posible modificar temporalmente la temperatura de consigna durante un
tramo programado. Se puede aumentar o disminuir la consigna simplemente
pulsando las teclas o . La modificación temporal se mantiene hasta el
siguiente cambio de tramo programado.

PROGRAMACIÓN
Mantenga pulsada la tecla durante 5 seg. La siguiente pantalla se muestra.
El primer segmento correspondiente a las 00:00 comienza a parpadear. Pulsando
, puede seleccionar el nivel de temperatura durante esa hora: Antihielo
(3°C), Económico (18°C) o Confort (21°C). Pulse para avanzar a la
siguiente hora.
Una vez que ha configurado los diferentes tramos horarios del día 1,
automáticamente accederá a la configuración del día 2 pulsando la tecla .
Repita los pasos para realizar la programación de los 7 días de la semana.
Si no desea modificar la programación de algún día de la semana, pulse en
cualquier momento para avanzar al siguiente día.
i Ecombi Plus no cargará en intervalos configurados con Antihielo .
PUESTA EN HORA
Después de pulsar cuando el último intervalo horario del día 7 está
parpadeando o después de pulsar en el día 7, la configuración de puesta en
hora comienza. La siguiente pantalla se muestra con el día de la semana
parpadeando.
Utilice y para seleccionar el día actual. 1=Lunes, 2=Martes, etc. y pulse
para confirmar el día.
Las horas comienzan a parpadear. Pulse o hasta seleccionar la hora
actual y pulse para confirmar.
Los minutos comienzan a parpadear. Pulse o hasta seleccionar los
minutos actuales y pulse para confirmar.
i En el caso de que el dispositivo esté asociado a una centralita G Control, el
ajuste de hora se anula y se configura la hora que tiene la centralita de manera
automática.
Si no desea modificar la hora, pulse para salir. Después de la configuración
horaria, el display mostrará la programación establecida con la palabra Pro
alternando con la temperatura de consigna para el día y hora establecido para
indicar que el acumulador está siguiendo el programa.

MODO MANUAL
Incrementar temperatura de consigna
En el modo manual, Ecombi Plus mantendrá la temperatura de consigna
seleccionada e ignorará la programación establecida. Ecombi Plus mantendrá la
temperatura seleccionada durante las 24 horas del día. Utilice este modo,
cuando se requiere la misma temperatura durante cada intervalo horario de la
semana.
Para modificar el valor de la temperatura, pulse o hasta que se muestre
la temperatura deseada.
MODO OFF
Es posible apagar el acumulador sin desconectar el interruptor general. En el
modo OFF, la carga y el elemento de compensación nunca funcionarán,
conservando el aparato la configuración horaria establecida. En este modo, se
muestra la hora actual y el indicador de modo de funcionamiento .
BLOQUEO DE TECLADO
Bloquear / Desbloquear
En cualquier modo de funcionamiento es posible bloquear el teclado
presionando y simultáneamente durante 3 segundos. Aparecerá el
mensaje Lock cuando el teclado se haya bloqueado.
Con el teclado se encuentra bloqueado, al pulsar cualquier tecla aparecerá en la
pantalla Lock y el equipo no responderá.
Para desbloquear el teclado, pulse y simultáneamente durante 3
segundos.
CONFIGURACIÓN GENERAL - PARÁMETROS
Es posible realizar ajustes en la configuración del equipo. En cualquier modo de
funcionamiento, pulse y suelte la tecla , el display muestra el icono de
temperatura parpadeando y el icono de Radio-Frecuencia .
Mantenga pulsado durante 5 segundos hasta que el display muestre UP01.

Pulse para acceder al valor del parámetro que quiere modificar. Modifique el
valor con las teclas de navegación y . Confirme el nuevo valor con .
Es posible salir de la configuración y guardar los cambios realizados en cualquier
momento pulsando .
Los parámetros de funcionamiento del Ecombi Plus que pueden ser modificados
por el usuario se detallan a continuación:
- UP01: Porcentaje % inicial de carga.
- UP02: Hora de inicio de la tarifa reducida.
- UP03: Hora de finalización de la tarifa reducida.
- UP04: Hora de inicio del segundo periodo de tarifa reducida. (si no existe,
mantener en 00:00).
- UP05: Hora de finalización del segundo periodo de tarifa reducida. (si no
existe, mantener en 00:00).
- UP06: Días de carga de la semana.
- UP07: Corrección de temperatura ambiente (Valores desde -5ºC a 5ºC).
- UP08: Máximo tiempo de funcionamiento de la resistencia de
compensación durante el tramo de tarifa con recargo. Establezca este
valor a “0” para no permitir el funcionamiento de la resistencia de
compensación en tramo de tarifa con recargo, en ese caso, la corrección
de carga no funcionará y el mismo nivel de carga se aplicará a todos los
días. (Por Defecto: 5 horas)
- UP09: Protección de temperatura excesiva durante la carga. Grados por
encima de la consigna de confort a los que el acumulador deja de cargar.
(Valores 1,2,3,4 y 5).
- UP10: Grados Celsius o Fahrenheit. (Valores: ºC – F).
- UP11: Activación Ventanas abiertas. (On/Off).
- UP12: Activación Puesta en Marcha Adaptable (On/Off).
- UP13: Tipo de control de temperatura. Recomendado y por defecto PID.
i Ecombi Plus no cambia automáticamente del horario de invierno a verano o
viceversa cuando no está conectado a internet. Dependiendo de la tarifa, puede ser
necesario cambiar la configuración horaria para ajustarse a los periodos de tarifa
reducida.
CONFIGURACIÓN DE CARGA – AJUSTE HORARIO Y SEMANAL
Días de carga en semana (Parámetro UP06)

Avanzar al siguiente día
Acceda a la configuración general para modificar el periodo de carga de su
acumulador Ecombi Plus. (Vea “Configuración General - Parámetros”). Por
defecto, el periodo 23:00 a 07:00 está establecido, y la carga está activada todos
los días de la semana.
Periodos de carga
2 periodos de carga pueden ser seleccionados en el Ecombi Plus.
- 1º Periodo de carga: UP02 a UP03. (23:00 a 07:00 por defecto).
- 2º Periodo de carga: UP04 a UP05. (Deshabilitado por defecto, 00:00 a
00:00).
Días de carga en la semana
Es posible seleccionar los días de la semana que el acumulador Ecombi plus
cargará y cuáles no. Acceda al parámetro UP06 para modificar los días de la
semana que desea que su acumulador Ecombi Plus cargue. (Por defecto, carga
los 7 días de la semana).
Acceda al parámetro UP06 presionando . El indicador del primer día de la
semana (1) en la parte de arriba del display y la activación de la carga para ese
día (On/Off) se muestran en el display.
Pulse y para cambiar la activación de la carga para el día mostrado. Pulse
para avanzar por los diferentes días.
i Al seleccionar un día de la semana como día sin carga, Ecombi Plus establece
automáticamente la consigna Antihielo para ese día en el modo Auto, y asigna esta
temperatura a las 24 horas del día de no carga en el modo Manual.

ACUMULADOR DE CALOR INTELIGENTE
Ecombi Plus optimiza el consumo energético satisfaciendo la demanda energética solicitada por el usuario en cada periodo de
tiempo alcanzando el confort deseado con el mínimo consumo.
Control de carga inteligente
Ecombi Plus incorpora un avanzado control electrónico de carga que analiza la demanda energética de la estancia donde se
encuentra instalado a través de sus diversos sensores, utilizando esta información posteriormente para optimizar el proceso de
carga y de este modo, optimizar el consumo energético.
El nivel de carga se encuentra monitorizado en todo momento por el control electrónico y se encuentra representado en el
display por los cuadrados situados en la parte derecha del display. 5 cuadrados representan un nivel de carga completa del
acumulador.
i Cuando Ecombi Plus está cargando, el cuadrado superior correspondiente al nivel de carga actual parpadea.
Protección de temperatura excesiva en la estancia
Para conseguir la máxima economía de funcionamiento y evitar consumos innecesarios, si durante la carga del acumulador se
supera la temperatura de consigna máxima para la estancia, se interrumpirá la carga del acumulador hasta que la temperatura
decrezca.
Corrección de carga
El porcentaje de carga (%) del Ecombi Plus es corregido automáticamente por el control electrónico. Si el funcionamiento de la
resistencia de apoyo supera cierto valor en el total de horas de recargo, la carga del acumulador se incrementa en un porcentaje
determinado proporcional a las horas de funcionamiento. Por el contrario, si el funcionamiento de la resistencia de apoyo no
supera ese valor, la carga del acumulador se reduce en el porcentaje establecido.
Este modo de funcionamiento produce una adaptación completa del consumo a las necesidades térmicas reales de la vivienda
proporcionando un ahorro máximo para el confort deseado. La consigna es independiente de la carga del acumulador. La carga
inicial puede modificarse con el parámetro UP01 y por defecto es el 80%.
Elemento calefactor de compensación
Si la energía descargada por el acumulador no es suficiente para satisfacer la demanda energética de la estancia donde Ecombi
Plus está instalado, un elemento calefactor de compensación incorporado en el cuerpo del equipo se conectará para completar
la demanda energética de la estancia. El tiempo máximo de funcionamiento del elemento de compensación fuera de las horas de
tarifa reducida puede ser ajustado e incluso cancelado por el usuario mediante el parámetro UP08. (Véase “Configuración
General – Parámetros”).
Cuando el elemento de compensación está funcionando, el icono se muestra.
*El acumulador y el elemento de compensación nunca funcionarán al mismo tiempo.
Ventanas Abiertas
Con la función ventanas abiertas activa, el elemento de compensación se desconectará automáticamente cuando se produzca un
descenso brusco en la temperatura de la estancia, evitando así un gasto innecesario de energía. Después de un periodo de
tiempo, el equipo vuelve al modo de operación previo.
Cuando la función de Ventanas abiertas está operando, el símbolo se muestra en la pantalla.
Puesta en marcha adaptable
Con el control de puesta en marcha adaptable activado, el control electrónico de Ecombi Plus analiza las necesidades energéticas

4.- FUNCIONAMIENTO CON CENTRALITA G CONTROL HUB
Mediante una centralita G-Control Hub conectada a la red del hogar, es posible controlar el funcionamiento completo e integral
del acumulador Ecombi Plus remotamente desde cualquier lugar a través de la app Elnur Gabarrón o la app-web. El acumulador
Ecombi Plus debe estar asociado a una centralita G-Control Hub conectada a internet para utilizar esta característica.
4.1 Para asociar el Ecombi Plus a la centralita G Control Hub, el modo descubrimiento de la centralita debe estar activado. Pulse
durante 3 segundos el botón situado en la parte posterior de la misma para activar el modo descubrimiento. Una luz
intermitente naranja parpadeando cada segundo indica que el modo asociación está activado.
4.2 Con la centralita en modo descubrimiento, pulse el botón del acumulador durante 3 segundos hasta que el símbolo Link
se muestre en la pantalla.
Puede ahora controlar y ajustar la programación y temperaturas de consigna del acumulador a través de la app Gabarrón-Elnur o
a través de la app-web.
4.3 Para desasociar el acumulador, se debe realizar un reseteo del equipo. Ver sección “Reset del acumulador y valores de
fábrica”. Cuando el acumulador se resetea, se elimina la programación estableciéndose los valores por defecto, adicionalmente
se desasocia la red de RF desvinculándose el acumulador de la centralita G Control Hub con la que estuviera emparejado.
5.- PROBLEMAS Y SOLUCIONES
El ECOMBI Plus no calienta
Compruebe que el equipo está conectado y en el modo de funcionamiento deseado.
Comprobar que el ECOMBI Plus no esté cubierto o las entradas de aire inferiores obstruidas. Si el
limitador térmico LR ha actuado será necesario rearmarlo manualmente.
El ECOMBI Plus no calienta lo
suficiente
Comprobar que la temperatura seleccionada sea la adecuada. Es posible que la habitación necesite
más potencia de calefacción.
El display muestra mensajes de
error Por favor, contacte con el Servicio de Asistencia Técnica.
El teclado no responde
Si el display muestra Lock al tocar alguna tecla, el teclado del ECOMBI Plus se encuentra bloqueado.
Mantenga pulsadas las teclas “+” y “-” durante unos segundos para desbloquearlo. (Vea la sección
“Bloqueo de Teclado”).
Ecombi Plus no comunica
con la centralita G-Control
Hub.
Asegúrese de que el equipo está asociado, el icono debe aparecer fijo en el display.
Para distancias mayores de 30 metros y 2-3 paredes, asocie primero los equipos más
cercanos, ya que cada equipo puede ejercer de repetidor.

6.- MANTENIMIENTO
Estos acumuladores de calor no precisan de ningún tipo de mantenimiento especial, proporcionando confort térmico durante
largas temporadas.
Limpie el polvo con un trapo suave y seco, sólo cuando la unidad esté desconectada y fría.
No utilice disolventes ni productos abrasivos.
Al finalizar la temporada de calefacción desconecte el equipo mediante el interruptor situado en la parte posterior.
iEste acumulador de calor ha sido fabricado dentro de un sistema de calidad asegurada y conforme a procesos respetuosos
con el medio ambiente. Una vez finalizada la vida útil del aparato, llévelo a un punto limpio para que sus materiales puedan ser
reciclados de forma adecuada.

1. –IMPORTANT INFORMATION
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock,
and injury to persons, including the following:
• WARNING: Please read all instructions before installing or using this heater for the first time.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid
burns, do not let bare skin touch hot
surfaces.
• Keep combustible materials, such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes,
etc. and curtains at least a foot (30cm) from
the front, sides and rear of the heater.
• It is essential that the indicated minimum
clearances are maintained.
• CAUTION — Some parts of this product
can become very hot and cause burns.
Particular attention must be given where
children and vulnerable people are present.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the heater.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left
operating unattended.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance.

fire or damage the heater.
• Do not use this heater to dry clothes. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.
• Air inlets and outlets provide proper operation of the appliance and prevent its overheating. DO NOT cover air inlet
and outlet grills.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or
liquids are used or stored. The use of these heaters is forbidden in any area where there is a presence of gases,
explosives or inflammable objects.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
• SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. This guide must be kept and given to any new user.

2. - INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT: Wiring procedures and connections shall be in accordance with the national and local codes having jurisdiction.
• The warranty of the heater will not cover any damage caused by non observance of any of these instructions.
• The installation must be carried out in accordance with the current local electrical regulations. Any installation or
reinstallation has to be carried out by an experienced technician.
• Neither the connecting cable nor any other object must come into contact with the hot unit.
• Please check that the voltage in the rating label fits the power supply.
• This appliance must be grounded.
• The appliance should not be installed just below an electrical socket.
• The appliance must be installed in such a way that it is impossible for anyone using a bath or shower, to touch the
controls.
• If during any installation the thermal insulation shows any sign of damage, it must be replaced.
• This heater should be switched off at the circuit breaker before any repair work is carried out. This should also be done
during times of the year when heat is not required.
• This appliance is only for permanent connection to a fix installation. The supply circuit to the heater must incorporate a
double pole isolating switch having a contact separation of at least 3 mm.
• The nominal charging period of this heater is indicated in the rating label.
• After installation a survey of the first charging cycle should be carried out to ensure that the main input thermostat
switches off. Ventilate the room during this first cycle.
• Never open a charged heater.
• To maintain stability, it is essential that the heater is placed on a level surface and care should be taken to avoid
irregular surfaces, such as may result from carpets or tiled surrounds partially protruding under the heater.
• The presence of air particles of smoke, dust and other pollutants could, in time, discolor the walls and surfaces around
the heater.
• Incorrect time settings, erroneous programming of the reduced rate time and too high temperature settings may result
in a high cost of your electricity bill.
In order to achieve a correct installation of this device, follow these steps:
1. - Choose the right location to install ECOMBI PLUS. The minimum clearances must be respected from the appliance to any
combustible material such as furniture or curtains. To reduce the risk of fire, do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of the heater.
2. - Open the carton at the indicated side and install the supporting feet without removing the heater.

Turn the carton upside down to allow the heater to stand on its feet and remove the carton. Check that it is the correct model
and that it is in good conditions.
Check that all parts have been delivered and are intact.
- 1 Ecombi Plus heater casing.
- 1 bag containing 2 screws and 2 rawl plugs.
- 2 supporting feet.
- This guide.
- 1 superior fixing fitting.
- 2 lateral fixing fitting.
i The casing and storage bricks are supplied separately. Check the supplied bricks packages correspond to the ones
indicated on the heater carton.
i The heater operation is not affected if bricks with minor damage are used.
3. - Take off the front panel by removing the two screws located at the bottom. Fix the lateral fittings to the metal structure by
using the appropriate screws.
4. - Place ECOMBI PLUS in your selected installation area. Use the heater fixing holes as a template and mark the wall through
the fixing holes with a pencil. Drill the required holes into the wall. Place the rawl plugs and screws into the holes before the
appliance installation but do not fasten them tightly.
5. Attach ECOMBI PLUS to the rawl plugs with the crews. IT MUST NOT BE HUNG ON THE SCREWS; these are used only to
prevent the device from overturning and not to support it. If there is any doubt concerning the wall strength, consult the
corresponding construction specialist. The appliances are heavy; it is the installer responsibility the correct installation and wall
support of these devices to prevent them from overturning.
6. - Connect the heater using the wiring diagram included at the end of this manual. Tighten properly the connection block
screws. Do not leave any remaining wire inside the heater.
WARNING Touching live connections can cause serious personal injury.

7. - Disconnect the aluminum heating element by removing the FAST-ON terminal on each end of the element.
WARNING Steel edges can cut.
Next unscrew the inner panel and remove it.
CAUTION In the interior part of this inner panel there is a very delicate
thermal insulation MICROTHERM panel. It has to be handled with extreme care.
AVOID TOUCHING IT.

8. Do not disconnect the electrical heating elements. Remove the packing cardboard. Lift and tilt the elements outwards being
careful not to damage the insulation on the bottom of the heater.
9. - Place the storage bricks carefully, with the flat side facing the back of the heater. Arrange two row levels of bricks.
10. Place the heating elements back into their original position. Place the other two rows of storage bricks with the flat side
facing out and always on the heating elements supporting tabs.

11. Replace the inner front panel. If the bricks have been fitted correctly you will have no difficulty in replacing the panel. Make
sure the bottom edge of the inner panel is inside the front lip of the heater. Please see below:
12. - Reconnect the two FAST-ON terminals to the aluminum heating element attached to the inner panel at both ends.
13. – When replacing the exterior front panel, align the 2 plastic upper pegs on the heater with the holes in the exterior panel.
Push the top up into place and push the bottom in until it rests on the plastic feet.
14. - Replace the front panel with screws.
RELOCATION
WARNING: Relocation to another location must be carried out by an experienced technician.
If during reinstallation the thermal insulation shows any sign of damage, it must be removed and replaced by an identical part.
MANUALLY RESET TEMPERATURE LIMITER
This heater employs a manually reset temperature limiter (see LR in the connection diagram).
This safety device operates when high temperatures are reached at the top of the heater. It requires re-setting manually:
Let the heater cool. The cause of overheating should be investigated.
WARNING: Re-setting manually must be carried out only by an experienced technician.
Turn off the heater at the circuit breaker.
Take off the front panel by removing the two screws located at the bottom. Find the limiter LR in the connection diagram and
push the small pin until a click is heard.

3. - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: DO NOT USE THIS HEATER TO DRY CLOTHES. Do not cover this heater at any time.
CONNECTION / DISCONNECTION
Power switch. All models are equipped with a switch on the back side panel. It is
used to connect and disconnect ECOMBI PLUS.

the rear right side of the heater as shown above.

Pressing any button, the display will illuminate with a soft white colour. After certain time if no buttons are pressed the display

OPERATION MODES SELECTION
Press , the operation modes are displayed, with the selected one flashing.
Use or to select the desired operation mode. Confirm with .
The heater has three different operation modes: Auto, Manual override and
Standby Mode.
- Auto: The setpoint temperature varies according to the weekly
schedule setup in the unit. 3 different temperature levels (Comfort,
Moon and Frost Protection) can be selected for each time interval (1
hour) to adjust the temperature in the room to the habits and needs of
the different users.
- Manual Override: the storage heater will maintain the temperature
set point and will ignore the pre-set program.
- Standby Mode: the storage heater doesn't maintain any set
temperature or run any programs, keeping the time settings configured
previously.
AUTO MODE – Temperature Level
To modify the set temperatures within the program permanently, press and
release until the display shows the flashing temperature symbol .
Now press to select the temperature you want to change, COMFORT or
ECONOMIC. Use and to select the desired temperature.
You can temporary change the set temperature for the time period too. To do
this, increase or decrease the current temperature simply by pressing and
. Once the time period finishes, the temperature will revert back to the
programmed set temperature.

The first segment will start to flash. By pressing you can select whether you
want a Frost Protection setting (3°C), Moon setting (18°C) or Comfort
setting (21°C). Now press to move to the next 1hour time interval.
Once you've gone through all the time intervals for day 1, you will automatically
start on day 2 by pressing . Repeat the above steps until you go through all 7
days.
If you do not desire to modify the programming of a day within the week, press
to go through the next day.
i Ecombi Plus will not charge in Frost Protection time intervals.
TIME SETTING
After pressing when the last time interval for day 7 is flashing or after
pressing in day 7, the time setting configuration starts. The following is
shown with the day of the week flashing.
Use and to select today's date. 1=Monday, 2=Tuesday, Etc. and Press
to confirm.
Now the hours start to flash. Press and until you reach the correct time
(hour) and Press to confirm.
Now the minutes start to flash. Press and until you reach the correct
time (minutes) and Press to confirm.
i If the device is associated with a G-Control Hub, the adjustment of time is
removed and the time in the G-Control Hub is configured in the heater automatically
If you do not desire to modify the time setting, press to exit. After setting
the time, the display will show and start to run the program and will flash
between the set temperature for the current day, time interval and the word
Pro to indicate the heater is running the set program.

MANUAL OVERRIDE
Increase temperature set point
In manual mode, the unit will maintain the temperature set point and will ignore
the pre-set program. Ecombi Plus will maintain the selected temperature for the
24 hours of the day. Use this mode, when the same temperature is desired for
every hour in the week.
To modify the temperature set point, press or until the desired
temperature is shown.
STANDBY MODE
It is possible to put Ecombi Plus in standby mode where the heater does not
maintain any set temperature or run any programs. It keeps the time settings
configured previously. When in this mode, the heater will display the current
time and the icon .
KEYBOARD LOCK
Lock / Unlock
During any operation mode, it is possible to lock the keyboard by holding
and simultaneously for 3 seconds. When the keyboard is locked, the
message Lock will be displayed.
When the keyboard is locked, if any button is pressed, the display will show
“Lock” and the unit will not respond.
To unlock the keyboard, press and simultaneously for 3 seconds.
GENERAL SETTINGS
It is possible to modify the general settings. During any operation mode, press &
release , the display shows the flashing temperature symbol and the RF
symbol .
Hold for 5 seconds until the display shows UP01.

- UP03: Ending time of reduced rate electric period.
- UP04: Starting time of the second reduced rate electric period. (if not
available set up 00:00).
- UP05: Ending time of the second reduced rate electric period. (if not
available set up 00:00).
- UP06: Charging days during the week.
- UP07: Temperature ambient sensor correction (values from -5ºC to 5ºC).
- UP08: Maximum working period of the balancing heating element in on
peak electric period. Set up this value to “0” to cancel the balancing
heating element operation in on peak electric periods. With balancing
heating operation cancelled, the charge correction will not operate and
the same charging level will be applied every day. (Default 5 hours)
- UP09: Excess of temperature protection during the charge, Degrees
higher than the comfort set point temperature (Auto Mode) or the
manual set point temperature (Manual Mode) when the charge is
interrupted. (Values 1,2,3,4 & 5).
- UP10: Degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. (Values: ºC – F).
- UP11: Open Window Detection Activation. (On/Off).
- UP12: Adaptive Start Control Activation (On/Off).
- UP13: Kind of temperature control. Recommended & default PID.
i ECOMBI PLUS does not change automatically from summer time to winter time
or vice versa when not connected to the internet. Depending on the tariff it may be
necessary to change the clock settings to fit these two timings.

Two charging periods can be selected in the electronic control of your Ecombi
Plus.
- 1º Charging period: UP02 to UP03. (23:00 to 07:00 by default).
- 2º Charging period: UP04 to UP05. (Disabled by default, 00:00 to 00:00).
Weekly charging days
It is possible to select which days Ecombi Plus will charge and which days it will
not. Access to the UP06 parameter to modify the days you want your Ecombi
Plus takes a charge. (By default, 7 days of the week).
Access to UP06 parameter by pressing . The first day indicator in the top of
the display and the charge condition (On/Off) is displayed.
Press and to change the charge condition for this day. Press to go
on through the days.
i Ecombi Plus will not charge in Frost Protection time intervals. When setting a day
as “No charging day”, Ecombi Plus will automatically set Frost Protection Temperature
in all time intervals of this day in the defined Auto Mode program. In addition, Frost
Protection Temperature will be set for this day in Manual Mode, setting the previous
set temperature for Manual Mode when the “no charging day” ends.

SMART STORAGE HEATER:
Ecombi Plus optimizes the energy management and consumption and provides the heat demand requested by the user in each
period of time reaching the desired comfort.
Smart charging control
Ecombi Plus allows optimizing the energy management and consumption using a linear regression model based on the
temperature registered in the core of Ecombi Plus to determine the current % of the storage heater charge and use this
information to charge only the heat necessary to supply the daily heat demand and avoid unnecessary energy consumption.
The charge level is monitored every time by the electronic control and represented in the display by the dots in the right side of
the display. 5 dots represent a fully charge storage heater.
i While Ecombi Plus is charging, the last dot is flashing at the top right part of the display.
Protection for excess of temperature in the room
In order to achieve maximum savings and avoid unnecessary energy consumption, if, during the charging period, the temperature
in the room exceeds the temperature set up in Ecombi Plus for that room, then the charging will be interrupted until the
temperature in the room decreases.
Charge correction
The % of the storage heater charge is corrected automatically by Ecombi Plus software. If working hours of balancing element is
higher than a certain value, storage heater charge will be increased by a certain %. On the other hand, if balancing element
working hours does not exceed this value, storage heater charge level is reduced by the same %.
This behaviour adapts the consumption to the real thermal needs, allowing the maximum level of energy savings at the required
comfort. The set-up temperature is independent of the Storage Heater level of charge. Initial setting for charge is 80%. This value
can be modified by entering “General Settings” part and modify the initial % of storage charge according to UP01 setting.

If the energy discharged with natural convection is not enough to satisfy the heat demand of the room where Ecombi Plus is
installed, a balancing heating element incorporated in the Ecombi Plus body will be connected providing additional heating to the
room if necessary to supply the heat demand of the room. The maximum working period of the balancing heating element
during on-peak electric electric periods can be adjusted and cancelled by modifying UP08 parameter. (please go to “General
Settings”).
When the balancing heating element is on, the symbol is displayed.
*Storage Heater and Balancing Heating Element will never work at the same time.
Open Window Detection
With open window detection activated, the balancing element operation will be disconnected automatically when a sharp
decrease in temperature in the room is detected avoiding energy wastage.
When Open Windows Detection function is working, the icon is displayed.
Adaptive Start Control
With adaptive start control activated, Ecombi Plus electronic control analyses the heating requirements of the room where it is
installed using this information to turn on the balancing heating element in advance in order to reach the set point temperature
at the desired time.
When Adaptive Start Control function is working, the icon is displayed.

4.- REMOTE OPERATION USING THE WIFI G-CONTROL HUB It is possible to control the full operation of the unit remotely with Gabarron-Elnur app or app-web. The unit must be
connected to a Wifi G-Control Hub connected to the internet to use this feature.
4.1 To associate the unit to the G-Control Hub, the discovery mode of the hub must be activated. Press the associate button at
the back of the Gateway for 3 seconds. An orange flashing light every second indicates association mode.
4.2 With the hub in association mode, press on the storage heater for 3 seconds until the Link symbol is shown.
You control and adjust the programming and temperatures on the Ecombi Plus via the Gabarron-Elnur app.
4.3 To disassociate the unit, a reset of the unit must be realized. See “DEFAULT SETTING & UNIT RESET”. When the
storage heater is reset, it will remove the programming and revert back to the default settings and also disassociate from the RF
network and G-Control Hub.
5.- TROUBLESHOOTING
ECOMBI PLUS does not heat.
Please check it is connected and switched on.
Make sure the device is not covered or the lower air inlets are not obstructed. The LR safety limit
may be activated; in this case it is necessary to reset it manually. Please contact technician.
ECOMBI PLUS does not reach
set up temperature
Make sure that adequate temperature is selected.
Make sure the storage heater is sized correctly for heat loss.
Err Message in display Please contact technician.
Keyboard does not respond If the “Lock” message is displayed, the keyboard is locked. Hold “+” and “-” buttons simultaneously
for 3 seconds to unlock the keyboard. (See Keyboard Lock Section).
ECOMBI PLUS does not

Check the unit is associated, the symbol must be shown on the display LCD.
For distances greater than 30 metros and 2-3 walls, associate first the closest units. Each unit can
work as signal extender.
If symbol is flashing, check the G Control Hub connexion to the network, and if any other
device in the RF Net that could be working as signal extender has been removed.

6.- CLEANING MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Before cleaning, make sure the power has been turned off at the circuit breaker panel and that the heating element of the heater
is cool.
Occasionally, clean dust with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any solvent or abrasive product for cleaning.
When the Heating season is finished, please disconnect the device by turning off the power switch located at the right back of
the unit or at the circuit breaker.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized technician.
i ECOMBI PLUS has been manufactured under a fully assured quality system and using environmentally friendly processes.
Once its useful life is finished please take the device to a recycling depot so that its components can be recycled in an
appropriate way.
