On approval by the Research Committee and Ethics Committee, a letter of No Objection will be supplied by ECAE for the researcher(s) to submit with the research proposal on-line to the ADEC Research Office. Notes and instructions This application must be typed (Font: Times New Roman, Font size: 12, single spaced) and completed in full, including the attached Ethics Committee form. Sections 1 8 of the proposal should be no longer than 6 pages in total. Please attach a copy of the ethics form, research participant informed consent form, data gathering tools, and any other relevant attachments. Graduate students who are conducting research as part of a graduate degree requirement at another Univeristy must attach the original approval and proposal from that University and any other supporting information. Please go to the Research Office website for application deadlines link. Questions can be directed to the Research Committee Chair by email at [email protected] Please submit the completed application electronically to [email protected] Process The Research Committee will meet periodically to make final decisions about the submitted applications. Instructions: Please fill out all sections of this research proposal. Sections 1 – 8 below should

be no longer than 6 pages in total (references, supplementary materials, appendices, etc. should

appear in sections 9-13).

Provide a summary paragraph for each investigator.

10. References

Reference Sections should not exceed 2 pages.

11. Budget (Grant Applications Only)

Note: The standard budget period is the calendar year, 1 January – 31 December. Funds

should be expended during this period. Multi-year funding cannot be guaranteed. Please

use the template in Appendix A.
