Metadata

“Data about data” or “information about information” The use of metadata could:

facilitate the discovery of governmental resources by interesting parties.

Metadata may be also used to: describe resources from various perspectives e.g.

to support archiving, to protect intellectual property rights, to manage change of resources etc.
