e hope everyone is having

a lovely start to the year and we look forward to continuing to bring you

all the latest upgrades on the exciting changes occurring at Eastland.

Our Thank You Rewards program which proved very popular late last year continues with an exciting calendar of great prizes, giveaways and fun filled events. On March 14, Eastland will host a number of children’s breakfasts based around the very popular Disney’s ‘Frozen’ storyline

and there will be some great additional activities for all to enjoy.

We are also very pleased to announce some exciting new changes that will occur in-Centre over the coming months. You will start seeing the existing Centre transform with upgrades to all Centre amenities, tiling and ceilings just to name a few.

Customers will also start to notice important changes to store locations with multiple stores relocating into new homes in readiness for our first stage opening later this year. You can find more details on page 5.

In addition to stores relocating, our Customer Service Desk has also moved to a temporary new home outside Kmart on level 2.

CENTRE CHANGES

IMPORTANT CHANGESAs you shop around Eastland, you’ll notice some changes. Some of your favourite stores have relocated temporarily and new favourites have opened in Centre. Here’s the who, what and where.

TOYWORLD POP-UP STORETOYWORLD WILL BE RELOCATING TO A NEW AND EXCITING POP-UP SHOP OPPOSITE SALOTTI. Kids, don’t panic! Toyworld is still in-Centre, it’s just moved to a new location. You can still find all the latest toys and games for the whole family plus exclusive Lego sets at Toyworld’s new pop-up shop. Be sure to drop in and explore their unique range and find the coolest toys around.

JB HI-FI MOVING TO A TEMPORARY NEW HOMEWhile works are underway to bring you the new Eastland, JB Hi-Fi is temporarily relocating to 99-101 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood in late February. In mid-2016 JB Hi-Fi will be back and will re-open in a larger space within Eastland.

JB H-Fi will continue to accept Eastland gift cards at their new location and all lay-bys can be collected from this location.

Please note, the JB Hi-Fi entry doors will remain accessible to customers who are visiting services and stores within the Eastern Mall including Commonwealth Bank, ANZ Bank, NAB and The Reject Shop.

WELCOMING THE FRESH CHOOK SHEDStop by to visit the poultry specialists who have set up shop near Woolworths on Level 1. The Fresh Chook Shed is your one-stop chicken shop and has opened up in a convenient location near Woolworths

NEW AMENITIES COMING SOON!

Eastland Shopping Centre is upgrading all our restroom, disabled and parents’ room facilities as part of the exciting

Eastland transformation. Upgrade works throughout the Centre will be staged to ensure amenities are available at all times during your visit to Eastland. The new amenities will include high quality finishes with stone tiling floors, floor to ceiling toilet doors and contemporary design fixtures.

BUILD PROGRESS

Works are progressing well to build the new Eastland Town Square, opposite Ringwood Station and the new entrance from the Town Square into the Centre.

This month, builders will start to erect internal walls and ceilings within the David Jones mall.

Framework for the REALM (Library Learning and Cultural Centre) is now in place and this month we will begin to construct the roof structure.
