Eastar Jet cabin crew pledges to provide top-notch services through a street eventCabin crew pledges to offer high-quality services to passengers in a street event held in Myeongdong and Uljiro

The new cabin crew of Eastar Jet has staged a street campaign.

They held a street promotion campaign for citizens from Migliore Shopping Mall in Myeongdong to Uljiro starting at 3 pm on June 22.

A total of 25 female and male flight attendants participated in the event to announce their pledges to provide the best quality customer services

and safe flights to travelers.

They sang the songs that they made themselves in corporate uniforms to pep up the citizens suffering from the heat wave. The new flight at-

tendants are scheduled to be deployed to Eastar Jet's flight services in July to provide high-quality services to passengers.

Eastar Jet announced that the company has started an Early Bird fare program for international travelers.

Under the new discount fare program, passengers can purchase international flight tickets at discount prices

if they reserve the flights at least 3 months before departure.

The round trip flights between Gimpo and Taipei (Songshan) or between Incheon and Tokyo/Osaka scheduled in September

will be offered at 99,000 won, the lowest available fare, with Early Bird benefits.

Early Bird is named after the proverb "The early bird catches the worm", in order to highlight various benefits from advanced reservations.

Eastar Jet also offers domestic flight tickets at 19,900 won under its Early Bird program, which has been attracting much attention from travel-

Eastar Jet receives KMA Information AwardEastar Jet receives KMA Information Award first among low-cost carriers thanks to its meteorological data-based flight system for safe services

Eastar Jet received a special award at the '7th KMA Information Award' ceremony held by the Korea Meteorological Administration and Korea Meteorological Industry Promotion Agency at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business on June 19.

The awards are granted to companies that utilize meteorological information effectively for corporate innovations and help promote the uses of such information. Eastar Jet has earned the award thanks to its anti-disaster safety system for the flight operation system, which came after the company was certified as a climate information-based management by the Korea Meteorological Administration in February.

Eastar Jet has been monitoring the weather conditions of airports and over flight routes on a real-time basis to identify any potential risk factors in advance and apply meteorological information updates to its schedules since it started the operation, aiming to make efficient use of climate conditions that strongly affect flights.

The company also offers alert messages to passengers through SNS and SMS on a real-time basis when emergencies such as delays or flight cancellations occur due to bad weather conditions.
