DAY 1 – Depart the USADepart the USA on your overnight flight to Nairobi, the capital andlargest city of Kenya.

DAY 2 – Nairobi, KenyaJAMBO - KARIBU!! (Welcome!) Upon arrival at the Jomo KenyattaInternational Airport, you will be met by a Mayflower Cruises &Tours representative who will assist with your transfer to the hotel, lo-cated in the heart of the central business district, for overnight accom-modations.

DAY 3 – Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National ParkAfter breakfast, depart for a drive to Lake Nakuru and a brief stop atthe Rift Valley view point. Continue on to your lodge, arriving in timefor lunch. This afternoon, the safari adventure begins with the firstgame-viewing drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Prides of lion,Cape buffalo, waterbucks, wart hogs, the endangered Rothschild gi-raffe, black & white rhino, Burchell’s zebra, impalas, and the elusiveleopard are among the many species of animals that make this parktheir home. After the safari, return to the lodge for dinner andovernight. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 4 – Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara Game ReserveAfter a hearty early morning breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara Na-tional Reserve. Upon arrival at the intimate Tipilikwani Camp, you aregreeted with a warm welcome and lunch. This afternoon, depart on anexciting game-viewing drive of the Masai Mara. Rolling plains andgrasslands, stretching as far as the eye can see, are home to the Black-maned lion, Savannah (African) elephant, Cape buffalo, wildebeests,cheetah, hyena, rhino, topi, Burchelle’s zebra and Masai giraffe. Haveyour camera ready…the Mara game reserve is one that can never dis-appoint! After an exciting game drive, return to the lodge for dinnerand overnight. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 5 – Masai Mara Game ReserveToday is a full-day adventure on the Masai Mara Game Reserve as youkeep a lookout for the “big five:” lion, Savannah elephant, Cape buf-falo, leopard and the Black rhino. In the afternoon, visit a traditionalMaasai manyatta (village) and experience the culture of this world fa-mous community where the Maasai still live as they have for cen-turies. Interact with these nomadic people and experience their way oflife. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 6 – Masai Mara Game Reserve to Serengeti National ParkIt’s time to leave Kenya and travel to Tanzania via the Isebania & Sir-ari border where your driver/guides will assist with immigration pro-cedures. During the drive, a picnic lunch will take place. The worldfamous Serengeti National Park covers an area of 5700 square miles,is Tanzania's oldest park, and one of the world's last great wildliferefuges. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining con-centration of plains game in Africa, including more than 2,500 lionsand over one million wildebeests. Arriving at your Serengeti lodge,check-in and enjoy an included dinner. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 7 – Serengeti National ParkAfter breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of game-viewing drives on the Serengeti plains. ‘Serengeti’ is derived from aword meaning ‘the place where the land runs on forever,’ and the vastnational park remains true to its name. Aside from being spoiled bythe variety of wildlife and bird species of the Serengeti, its landscapeis stunningly beautiful, especially in the early morning and lateevening light. Elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, zebra, giraffe and othersmay be spotted during your Serengeti adventure. An early morningoptional excursion, Balloon Safari at Dawn, prior to the includedgame drive, may be available (weather permitting). Meals: B, L, D

DAY 8 – Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation AreaAfter breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with astop at the Olduvai Gorge en-route. As one of the most importantprehistoric sites in the world, a resident guide will provide an inter-pretation of the gorge. Lunch will be provided after checking in tothe lodge on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater which has the largest un-broken caldera in the world and has been described as one of thegreat natural wonders of the world. Almost every species of Africanplains mammal lives in the crater, including the endangered Blackrhino. This afternoon, relax and enjoy the breathtaking views fromthe lodge before tonight’s dinner. DAY 9 – Ngorongoro Conservation AreaToday’s adventure is a descent into the crater, in the game-drive vehi-cles, for a full day of game viewing. A photogenic paradise, an abun-dance of resident wildlife freely roams the plains of the crater floorwhile hundreds of bird species refresh in the small lakes. Unmatchedfor its natural variety and breathtaking beauty, there are few places on

earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist in an areaof this size. The crater is also of great archaeological importance withthe remains of some of mankind’s earliest ancestors discovered in thearea. Return to your lodge late afternoon with time to relax beforedinner. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 10 – Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Tarangire National ParkAfter breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving at yourlodge in time for lunch. An exciting game viewing drive takes placethis afternoon. Herds of elephants scratch the dry bed of the TarangireRiver searching for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest,zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrink-ing lagoons. It's the greatest concentration of wildlife outside theSerengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators – and the one placein Tanzania where dry-country antelope, such as the stately Fringe-eared oryx and peculiar Long-necked gerenuk, are regularly observed.Meals: B, L, D

DAY 11 – Tarangire National Park to Amboseli National ParkEnjoy an early morning breakfast before departing via the Namangaborder to Amboseli National Park where you check in to the lodgeand enjoy lunch. On this afternoon’s game-viewing drive, you havethe opportunity to see buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippoand wildebeest among many other inhabitants of this national park.With over 400 species of birds, flora and fauna, it’s also a bird-loversparadise. This evening, enjoy dinner at the lodge. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 12 – Amboseli National ParkA morning and afternoon game viewing drive are in store for today.Amboseli National Park offers some of the most breathtaking views inAfrica and is one of the best places for a photogenic view of MountKilimanjaro (weather permitting). Famous for its large herds of giantelephants, the park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa.Meals: B, L, D

DAY 13 – Amboseli National Park to NairobiYour African Safari Adventure comes to an end as you depart forNairobi, taking with you memories and photographs of the specialmoments and unforgettable experiences. Lunch is included before ar-riving at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flighthome. Meals: B, L
