Hosted by the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Hei-delberg, the German Cancer Research Center, the Felix Burda Foundation and the German Network Against Colorectal Cancer the 2014 Workshop on Innovation in Prevention, Early Detection and Diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer will bring together academics, scientists, clinicians and leaders of the pharmaceutical industry to share innovations and to discuss and foster new developments in prevention and early detection strategies for colorectal cancer.
Colorectal cancer is not only a major public health burden, but is also effectively preventable. The interdisciplinary work-shop will cover state of the art research in colorectal cancer screening and early detection, prevention strategies by anti- inflammatory drugs, genomics, immunology, and gut micro-biomics. For a joint approach and optimal exchange of information, the workshop will provide the maximum amount of interaction and discussion through an exciting range of presentations.
We hope that you will join us on June 5th–6th 2014 at our Innovation Workshop in the beautiful city of Heidelberg and strengthen our links in colorectal cancer research.
