Externship Program• WSST sponsored five (5) high school teachers to complete an

externship at an oil and gas worksite. The objective is that each teacher learns basic best practices and generally accepted processes in the oil and gas industry in order to create curriculum to be taught to high school students in the district’s oil and gas academy.

• Create opportunities for possible replication of curriculum to be shared with other school districts in the EFS Consortium.

• Opportunity to coordinate with local community college to promote post secondary education in the oil and gas industry.
