• Continued momentum to seek out best practices and innovation focused opportunities and smaller regional executive missions

– Planned tour of incubator in DC

– Meeting with Qualcomm’s Division Director in DC to learn about current projects and how they work with their network of partners to foster entrepreneurship and enrich teaching and learning

– Connect EdTechMD and to Qualcomm’s Wireless Reach Program

– Connections to for Greater Baltimore start ups based on the company’s focus

• Established connections with BioMed Ventures, the in-house venture arm of BioMed Realty, who have been looking to make a trip to Baltimore to meet with Pharma/BioTech companies at and and elsewhere in the region

• Potential partnership opportunity to create a CONNECT East or a Cyber CONNECT – the program is already based in 50 markets around the world

• Connected to bwtech; they are now working to plan a CyberTini together prior to CyberMaryland Conference on Oct. 28th

• Establish connections for Kyocera to the new Johns Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute

• Future partnership/real estate opportunities among delegates inspired by some of our Mission visits
