About E4impactE4impact is an international initiative promoted by ALTIS Graduate School Business and Society at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy), Europe’s largest private institution of higher education.

E4impact gathers together a variety of players - would-be entrepreneurs with a Business Idea to be developed, start-uppers managing a small business with high growth potential, local entrepreneurs, willing to adopt an effective Business Model developed elsewhere and to launch it in their own countries, universities and professors, investors and the business community - around the objective of forging sustainable development through Impact Entrepreneurship.

The heart of E4impact is the Executive MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship, a unique formula of MBA designed to grow and scale impact businesses.

The MBA is managed by ALTIS and is offered in partnership with local Universities in Africa and in the near future in Asia and Latin America.

Goals of E4impactE4impact aims to:

ü Develop a new generation of entrepreneurs able to couple economic success with positive social impact,

ü Build a learning community of Universities for impact entrepreneurship research and education,

Executive MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship The heart of E4impact is the double-degree Executive MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship, a unique formula of MBA managed in partnership with local Universities and designed to grow and scale impact businesses across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The program of the Executive MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship guides active and aspiring entrepreneurs to start-up or scale-up their business. It supports participants in:

ü Transforming a Business Idea into a Business Plan

ü Developing the business tools and skills necessary to guide a new venture

ü Linking up with an international network of potential partners and investors to grow the business.

To this end the MBA program is structured as “training camp” where each course directly responds to a concrete need that arises while implementing a start-up or scale-up strategy.

The MBA is the first non-American Program to receive the Ashoka Innovation Award from the Ashoka Foundation. Ashoka is a global association of the world’s leading social entrepreneurs. It helps them both to get started and succeed over their long lifetime causing large scale and very much needed pattern of change.

Business Model CenterThe E4impact Business Model Center supports the international scale of successful Impact Businesses.

The Business Model Center helps international companies and start-ups to select a reliable local entrepreneur, with good knowledge of the local market and a high standard business education. The local entrepreneur will support them in launching their Business Models in his/her own country.

The process starts with the identification of a successful Impact Business to be scaled, either from a Small Medium Enterprise (SME) in Europe or in the USA, from an E4impact Alumnus or from international Business Model Competitions.

E4impact supports the Impact Business owner in the selection of the ideal partner (local entrepreneur) to scale in countries where the MBA is run.

The selected local entrepreneur, while attending the E4impact MBA, is in charge of validating the selected Business Model, adapting it to the local environment and of designing the most effective Business Plan.

In pursuing the objectives above, he/ she will be supported by a Business Coach and by Business Mentors, who facilitate contacts with business partners, local investors and public institutions and offer the financial oversight and rigor to assure the creation of an economically sustainable business.

complete a comprehensive and successful Business Plan by the end of the program.
