Nothing runs like a Deere, because nothing is built like one. When you depend on your excavators to get the job done right and on schedule, you can’t afford

downtime. That’s why the E210 LC is built tough to deliver exceptional uptime. It employs Ɵeld-

proven John Deere advantages, such as highly reliable digging structures and hydraulic, electrical, and

undercarriage components. Other durability-enhancing features include wet-sleeve cylinder liners,

heavy-duty cooling systems, and extended service intervals. Plus, highly trained John Deere dealer parts

and service personnel are fully prepared to provide the support you need to maximize uptime.

Solid-state electrical system minimizes

the number of wires, mechanical relays, and unsealed connections for maximum durability and uptime.

Standard electric fuel-transfer pump

automatically primes and bleeds the fuel system for dependable starting.

Three fuel Ɵlters and two water separators

remove sediment and moisture to protect the fuel system.

Standard glow plugs improve cold-

weather starting. Opt for a diesel-Ɵred

coolant heater and fuel-Ɵlter heater to

ensure quick starts in extreme climates.

Sealed-switch module keeps out dust,

moisture, and debris, and provides excellent durability.

Every detail was designed to increase durability, including ribs that protect the arm when curling a loaded bucket and steel collars that guard grease points in tough environments.

1. Isolated side-by-side coolers are easy

to clean. The air-conditioner condenser

swings out, providing wide-open access

to coolers.

2. Coolant surge tank with pressurized cap maintains system pressure to protect important components. Sensors on the surge tank alert the

operator when coolant level is low.

3. John Deere PowerTech engine delivers proven performance. An economical direct-drive cooling fan ensures proper

cooling.

4. Sealed and lubricated undercarriage and heavy-duty welded x-frame provide

a solid, stable platform. Sloped track

frame resists material buildup to decrease cleaning time.

The perfect combination of power and efƟciency.Featuring a hydraulic system designed for full integration with the John Deere

PowerTech engine, the E210 LC combines impressive performance with smooth,

low-effort control. Four hydraulic power modes and three work modes adapt to

job demands, so you can Ɵnd exactly the right balance of productivity and fuel

economy to Ɵt the way you work. And when the task demands extra effort, pressure

boost provides the additional hydraulic power you need.

1. Four hydraulic power modes allow the operator to match productivity and fuel economy to the workload. Low and Economy modes limit engine rpm and hydraulic power to help save fuel. Standard delivers a balance of power, speed, and fuel economy for normal operation. High delivers more power and faster hydraulic response to move more material. Three work modes — Lift, Dig, and Hammer/Bidirectional Auxiliary — can be selected from the sealed-switch module to best match

hydraulic Ơow to the attachment.

2. Open-center hydraulic system is fully integrated with the John Deere PowerTech engine to optimize power, control, and efƟciency.

3. When the digging gets tough, simply press the pressure-boost

button on the right-hand control for the additional breakout

force you need.

Additional hydraulic capability a necessity? Optional high-

pressure, high-Ơow auxiliary package helps meet the need.

A comfortable environment for getting more done.Climb aboard an E210 LC Excavator, and you’ll discover the many reasons operators are

more productive in a John Deere. The sealed cab is spacious, comfortable, and noticeably

quiet. Operators will also appreciate the fully adjustable mechanical-suspension seat and

the large expanse of front glass that provides clear visibility. Other conveniences — including

ergonomically arranged controls, an intuitive multifunction LCD monitor, automatic climate

control, and a rugged AM/FM radio with auxiliary input — provide everything your operators

need to do their best work.

The well-sealed, pressurized cab

features low noise levels to help reduce operator fatigue. Viscous mounts further isolate operators from noise as well as vibration.

Two-piece front windshield

provides superb visibility and can be opened and retracted to improve airƠow.

Optional cab-mounted work lights provide illumination to extend your workday beyond normal daylight hours.

Comfortable mechanical suspension seat and wide, padded armrests are fully adjustable to accommodate a variety of operators. An air-

suspension seat is optional.

Sealed-switch module allows

keyless start and Ɵngertip entry of security codes and other operator settings.

A steel roof hatch is standard. An optional polycarbonate hatch provides additional visibility.

1. Large propel pedals with toe extensions and removable levers enhance legroom.

2. Automatic temperature-control

system helps keep the glass clear and the cab comfortable.

3. Ergonomic short-throw

pilot levers provide smooth, predictable control with less movement or effort. Rotary dial allows Ɵngertip control of engine speed.

4. Large storage area behind the seat allows the operator to set a comfortable recline angle and provides a place for a cooler.

5. Large, multi-language LCD

monitor provides intuitive access to machine data and functions, including operating information, detailed onboard diagnostics, and more.

Uncover all the ways Deere helps you keep costs down. Like all John Deere machines, the E210 LC includes numerous

features that simplify service, increase uptime, and reduce

daily operating costs. The low-effort, lift-assist hood provides

quick, wide-open access to the engine. Grouped service points

make it fast and easy to check Ơuid levels and grease the

machine each day. Periodic maintenance is simple, too, with

ground-level access to quick-change remote-mounted Ɵlters.

Plus, extended-service maintenance reminders and detailed

diagnostics help you make timely decisions about machine

upkeep, so you can manage uptime and costs.

Monitor provides detailed diagnostic information to help increase uptime.

Automatic turbo cool-down extends idle time at shutdown when the engine is hot to maximize component life.

Ground-level access to remote-

mounted engine oil and fuel Ɵlters

speeds periodic maintenance.

Anti-slip platform surfaces on the

exterior of the machine provide solid footing for maintenance.

Auto-idle automatically reduces

engine speed when hydraulics aren’t in use, to reduce noise and fuel consumption.

Automatic tensioning belt never needs adjusting, reducing downtime for periodic maintenance.

Fresh-air cab and recirculation

Ɵlters are quickly serviced from

ground level, where it is more likely to get done. An in-cab

indicator alerts the operator when the air Ɵlter is restricted.

1. Centralized grease points on the boom make greasing less messy and time consuming.

2. Wide-open access to the

hydraulic pumps is available from ground level.

3. You can choose to require a security PIN in order to start the machine to prevent theft.

4. Grouped service points make

it easy to check Ơuid levels and

grease the machine, simplifying and speeding daily maintenance. 500-hour engine oil, engine

oil Ɵlter, and fuel Ɵlter service

intervals decrease downtime for routine maintenance.

Contact your John Deere dealer for optimum bucket and attachment selections. These recommendations are for general conditions and average use. Does not include optionalequipment such as thumbs or couplers. Larger buckets may be possible when using light materials, for flat and level operations, less compacted materials, and volume loadingapplications such as mass-excavation applications in ideal conditions. Smaller buckets are recommended for adverse conditions such as off-level applications, rocks, and unevensurfaces. Bucket capacity indicated is SAE heaped.
