WMR e-Business Project Purpose
• To support the implementation of Service Coordination through the development and uptake of relevant online business tools for the member agencies of Western Metropolitan Region Primary Care Partnerships

AIM: To improve access to information about services available, and to roll-out a secure referral system for community based agencies
KEY OBJECTIVE: the development of a regional electronic service directory that:
• improves information access
• supports best referral practices
• supports an electronic referral system

Anecdotal responses indicate…
•Dietetics CHS about twice the time is available to the specialist assessment and therapeutic intervention in the initial assessment
•Aged LGA saving more than one hour a week when sending referrals (with CMS generating SCTT), and saving up to 10-15 minutes per re-assessment visit
•Podiatry CHS having time for an additional client appointment each day (changed intake and registration process, with a dedicated intake worker)
