Why should teachers create learning objects?

Not reliant on institutional infrastructure or resources

No ‘admin rights’ issues

I can have it NOW! & not wait months or years

Ease of access

Anywhere with interweb access

Online tools tend to be more intuitive

Online tools are less of a barrier – not perceived as ‘learning new software’ – merely an extension of the browser functionality

Makes collaboration easy

Why use online resources?
