Youth to Attend Triennium

“Here’s My Heart” July 15-20

In July, the Night Crusaders will attend the Presbyterian Youth Trien-

nium at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. They be joining

young people and leaders from 3 other churches in the to make up a

delegation of 37 people. Pastor Steve has been serving as the registrar

from Blackhawk Presbytery.

The week is full of opportunities to strengthen our discipleship to

Jesus Christ and interact with hundreds of young people from around

the country and the world. Music, preaching, worship, drama, small

groups, and plenty of recreation are on the

program.

Here is the roster of those traveling from Third: Youth Participants:

Jaylen Craglione, Nicole Facer, Liadan Gray, Macy Olson, Daniel

Schroeder, Work Crew: Dylan Lingelbach. Adults: Pastor Steve, Dan

Chiodini, Brad Facer.

Dorcas Circle will not meet in June.

Lucia Circle will be going out to enjoy a meal

together. Members will be called when

arrangements are made.

Piece Corps Summer Schedule –Piece Corp Quilters will

be meeting on Wed. June 12 from 10 am to 2 pm to “tie and

talk”. Bring your own Lunch!

Faith Builders women’s Bible Study meets

every Thursday at 9:45 a.m. at the church. You

Thank you Choir! Our dedicated Chancel Choir is a treasure! We appreciate their

time, talent and adaptability! Special thanks to their director Tom

Jacoby, who brought out the best in everyone. Thank you Choir:

Linda Zinnecker, Nancy Justman, Karen Jones, Cindy Miner,

Laurie Claussen, Dawn Bergquist, Mary Hartshorn, Cindy Watton,

Becky Martin, Brandi Cardey, Don Hartshorn, Fred Fauerbach, Larry

Our speaker will be Janet Biljeskovic, program director for Ref-

ugees Resettlement Services at the Rockford Catholic Church

Charities. Janet is a native of the former Yugoslavia, resettling as

a refugee through the Catholic Charities, in 1994. She has vol-

unteered for various positions in the agency. In 2013 Janet be-

came the program director for Refugee Resettlement Services.

She has found her true passion in helping those in need. She is

also accredited by the Department of Justice to practice family

immigration law. If you have questions, call Heather Genrich

of five Faith Build homes in
