Itinerary…

Reykjavik Guests spend three nights in the colorful city of Reykjavik at the Icelandair Marina Hotel. On Saturday, August 20, we race the Marathon, Half Marathon or 10k. That evening, Reykjavik’s annual “Culture Night” takes place, where the entire city comes alive with music, dancing and fun. Blue Lagoon The day after the marathon, guests spend hours soaking in the healing waters of the Blue Lagoon, where there is a swim up bar serving smoothies and cocktails. Volcano Huts After basking in the Blue Lagoon, guests will be transported to the Volcano Huts to sleep amidst nature in the center of Thorsmork National Park. Here we will run, hike and explore for two precious days and nights.

Vik The black sand beaches and the “three trolls” are phenomenally unique. Guests hike and explore for an unforgettable day, and one night will be spent at the newly built and well appointed Icelandair Vik Hotel.

Skaftafell The glaciers at Skaftafell are a privilege to behold. Two nights will be spent here at the base of these wild glaciers, in the Skaftafell Hotel.

Glacier Lagoon It is precisely as it sounds…a lagoon filled with Glaciers. From Skaftafell we drive to the lagoon for a day of hiking and ice cave exploration.

Geothermal Swimming Pool Our last 2 days are spent back in Reykjavik at the exceptional Hilton Hotel. In walking distance we have access to heated, outdoor pools, hot tubs, and expansive gym facilities. Food, music, dancing, shopping, recovery, massage…relax and un-wind before returning home with a host of cherishable memories.
