solution is immediately after shoeing or

Pine Tar

Often used as a softening agent, mildly antiseptic and will

draw infection (not as effective as Ichthammol as a drawing

agent). This characteristic means that pine tar is used in a

number of different pharmaceutical and veterinary products

for treating skin complaints. Pine Tar is often used with oakum

as hoof packing. Many people use Pine Tar as one of the
