DXNS Secure Managed File Transfer Overview DataExpress NonStop is a server-based application for automated file transfer management designed to run on the HPE NonStop platform. This robust solution enables customers to schedule, route, format and securely transfer business-critical data over the Internet and private networks. DataExpress links legacy systems with current technology trends while supporting your mission-critical transmission needs, including data security, reformatting and data validation services. File Transmission DataExpress takes files from numerous communication sources and applies common scheduling, tracking and error reporting methods to each transmission. In addition, Email messages can also be sent out based on the transfer status. Reformatting and Validation Mission-critical data often requires special formatting. The DataExpress Reformatter addresses this need with functionality that includes data validation, translation, duplicate file detection, basic data mapping and custom formatting. System Monitoring and Management DataExpress tracks the progress of each file as it proceeds through the transfer process. On-screen alarms alert the operator in real time and notifications can be sent to Enterprise Management products or other devices for remote monitoring. Report Generation DataExpress generates three types of reports: Scheduling, Error/Alarm and Processing Reports. Custom reports are also available and activity history can be sent off platform for further manipulation by other products. Security DataExpress meets the most stringent security requirements of its clients for transfer of business-critical data files. It maintains an audit trail of all online actions which can be produced in report format.
