    A) ManufacturersEquipment: All referencesto manufacturersmodel numbers andotherpertinent informationcontainedherein are intended to establishminimumstandards ofperformance andquality.

    B) The manufactureroftheDVW shalldemonstrate aminimum of2yearsof continuous productionofDVW systems

inNorth America. Equipmentspecified hereinshall bewarranted bythemanufacturer foraminimum periodof 3years.

    Product Overview:

Digital Video Witness (DVW) is a recording systemthat doesnot need any conventionalmultiplexingandVCR. Allvideoandaudio information supplied from all cameras andaudio sourceswill digitallyrecordsimultaneously at arecording rateof30-480frames per second(fps)andup to eightchannelsofaudio. The servercomeswith a variety offeatures allowingusers tointegratewith point of sale,ATM,and card access.

The qualityof the recordingand viewingdependsupon the maximum fps number (30 fps up to 480 fps) and thenumber of video inputs. The total frame rate per second is divided equally (can be readjusted) among the totalnumber of cameras. Depending on theDVW series, the systemhas the capacity to have4,8, 16, or 32camera

    inputs.

Thephysical capacityofthe chassiswillallow some systems toupgradethe hard drivetoas muchas7.5 Terabytes.DVW is running on XOS, an embedded OS. The systemcandisplay live or playback recorded video ona fullscreenor4,9, 13, 16, or 32screendivisionswhilecontinuallyrecording ontothesystemshard drive(s). Noneofthe videooperationsinterfere withone another.Recordingdoes not stop duringplayback, live viewing,or backupofvideo information.

    1.1. BasicOperation

DVW requiresverylittlehuman interventionexcept forperiodic maintenance.DVWoperates in a110-240V-50/60Hz environment. Each DVW has arange of1-32 camera inputs.Color, black&white cameras, PTZcameras, infraredcameras,x-ray cameras or low lightcamerascan beconnected to asingle DVW unitsimultaneously

DVWhas the ability tointerconnecttoprovide an unlimitednumberofvideoand audio channels DVW iscompatiblewiththird party CCTV equipment DVW has theabilityto recordvideo basedon scheduleandvarious setupconfigurations

1.2. DVW Server SoftwareApplications The DVWServerapplication isthe main DVWsystemoperatingsoftware DVW Serverapplication runs ona XOS operating system DVW Serverincludes the following operationfeatures: Search:the user hasthe ability to searchthe video recording based on thetype of recording

(Continuous, motion, sensor or pre-alarm),by time, date orcamera. Thisisdone through auser-friendly interface.

Playback: Theuseris ableto playback oneormultiple cameras at one time Backup:DVWallows to quickly locate and backuprecorded video events accordingtothe timeand

date specific Video Export:Theuserhas theoption to exportrecorded videosinAVIformat orto utilize our own

    method ofcompression

Still ImageCapture: The still imageoption allows the usertocapture stillimagesfrom the recordedvideo

    1.3. RecordingProperties

DVW captures, digitizes, compresses, and storesvideoona hard drive(s) and archivesitfor future

use. Dependingon aharddrive capacity, thevideorecordings arestored forcertain amountof daysafterwhich they areoverwritten. Allvideo is recordedusingMpeg 4 All audioisrecorded usingthe PCM/ADPCMstandard Dependingonthe model, each DVW has0 -16 drycontactinputs and outputs. DVWsensoroutputs and inputsare software activated Each sensor input canbe individuallyconfiguredto activate control output.Video recordingcan be

associated with the sensor activation. DVWsupportsmotiontracking cameras (NIKO 97)

1.4. Individual Camera Input Set Up

Each audio inputcan be independentlyconfigured torecord telephones, microphones,two-way radiosorany type of analog audio source. The DVW has the capability of simultaneously recording all 8 Audiosources in realtime

Each cameracanrecord atamaximum resolutionof 640x 480 pixels Each camerahasindividualbrightness, contrast, and hue setup Each camerahasindividualVideo MotionDetection setup (up to 5areas) Dependingonthe DVWmodel, each cameracan be configuredtorecordwith1-30 fps

    1.5. IndividualDVW

TheDVWsupports external and internal RAID TheDVW hard driveworks in a linear recordingmodetoallownew video clipstooverwrite old recordings DVWsharddrivesareseparate from the OS andthe videostorage depending onthesystem set-up.

    1.6. Network Operationand Architecture

TheDVWdoes not requireaseparate network. Thesystems recordingbandwidth allowstheuser to operate ontheexistingnetwork, LAN10/100 BTor WAN

    1.7. Remote Software Installation

DVWRemotesoftware has theability tooperatewithotherapplications running onthe user's PC DVW Remotesoftwareuses aWindowsbasedinstallation shieldthatallows toeasilyupgradeor

uninstallthe applicationwithout damaging otherapplications Access and view multiple cameras from multiple DVRs
