The following proposals work on different scales, and involve different levels of interactivity.

The first group can be viewed as discreet concepts or combined to create a more immersive

experience for visitors to DFV studio, so that as they congregate on the sidewalk outside

they are surrounded above, below and to one side with interactive visuals.

The second group are larger scale works that act as a beacon, attracting visitors from

greater distances and act as monumental spectacle. These can be implemented individually

or collectively.

All pieces in this presentation may be implemented individually or in combination with any

other pieces.

Follow DVF is an interactive installation for promoting DVF collections. Several

reactive posters are installed as store front window wraps/screens. One poster for

each model, represented as an interactive video. On the windows cell phone numbers

are attached, which passers-by can call activating the model to answer the phone

and personalize their experience.

Animated forms and patterns are projected onto the translucent overhang of the DVF Studios. The imagery would move along the building, and as visitors move along the sidewalk, the flow would be modified by their movements.

The imagery above is for demonstration purposes. It could go in many directions, from ‘flowing forms and patterns’ to use of solid colors within the ‘blocks’ of the overhang.

Taking advantage of the already striking faceted rooftop solarium, animation and images would be projected onto the facets from within. The imagery would respect the structure each panel as an ‘image unit’. This will enable an ever -changing, moving set of ‘sub areas’ composed of groups of facets that expand, move and contract.

Undulating flowing forms derived from words move across and mutate across the exterior of the studio. The words will be briefly visible, only

to turn into abstract sculptural forms, that move across the building. Different words come and go

to produce a message of language, form and movement.

Pattern Recognition is a projection of DVF patterns with an added 3 dimensional depth element, on the

walls of the studio. The patterns would be divided into layers that move at different rates, then come

into a ‘lock mode’ where the pattern becomes the iconic pattern known to visitors.
