When Duracool® built their state of the art blending and refi ning facility in Edmonton Alberta one of the foremost concerns was for consistency, quality and guaranteed performance. Since our fi rst day of operation every blend of Duracool® Refrigerant has carried the written guarantee that the use of Duracool® Refrigerants will not harm any component in a Mobile Air Conditioning System. This statement is a result of our blending facility and the manufacturing of Duracool® Refrigerants to exacting specifi cations. To our knowledge Duracool® Refrigerants Inc. owns and operates the only state of the art blending facility of this type in all of North America.

We are confi dent that you are aware of other companies that market hydrocarbons that contain either a “Forest Scent” or similar odours. These compounds are often used in the production of air fresheners and are not commonly used for refrigerants. Most companies do not blend their own refrigerants thus have no control over the performance of the fi nal product.

Duracool® Refrigerant is the Premium Hydrocarbon Refrigerant in North America. Our refrigerants are highly refi ned and blended and laboratory tested in our own manufacturing plant! We know of no other company in North America that can make this claim. Duracool® does not contain the fragrant scents that many other companies use, but contains an added industry accepted and recognized stenching agent called “Mercaptin” which is purposely added to assist consumers and technicians in leak detection should a leak occur.

Tune-Up & Sea lant K i t

The kit is designed for both the “ Do it Yourself Enthusiasts” and the “ Professional Repair Technician”. The easy to follow step by step installation instructions will guide you through the installation procedure. In many cases this task has been completed in less than an hours time. The contents of the kit will remove any moisture in the system, stop leaks in the system and replace any refrigerant oil that may have been lost as a result of leaks. Each kit contains adapter fi ttings for older vehicles or equipment, a charging hose and a low side pressure gauge that allows the installer to accurately measure system performance. The combination of Duracool DuraDry™, Duracool SystemSeal™ and Duracool A/C Oil Chill™ that are included in the kit ensure microscopic single or multiple leaks will be eliminated and that system cooling will be restored.

The Duracool® Mobile A/C Tune-Up kit is suitable for use in all mobile air conditioning systems and is compatible with all mobile refrigerants and lubricants.

The kit consists of a three part process designed to remove moisture from the system, seal any leaks which are present in the system and to replace any lubricant that has been lost from the air-conditioning system.The sealer is chemically activated by moisture which is present at the leak and forms a permanent and lasting seal.The kit will stop leaks in any metal parts, “O” rings or gaskets and connecting hoses located within the air- conditioning and refrigeration system. Tech talk - how it worksThe Smart VOV (variable orifi ce valve) uses system pressure and refrigerant fl ow to move a metering piston relative to a fi xed opening in the sleeve. The piston movement is resisted by an attached spring.When idling at high ambient temperatures, the piston shifts to a smaller metering area similar to a TXV. This compensates for the reduced compressor output and increases the cooling performance. The Smart VOV also has a unique re-open feature which reduces compressor pressure for severe idle conditions.At highway speeds, the Smart VOV operates on a large orifi ce. The net result is better performance than a TXV without the complexity or reliability concerns.

Unlike a TXV, which has constantly moving parts and small internal clearances, the Smart VOV is stationary during most operating conditions and has large internal clearances. Its low friction fl oating design insures smooth operation and extremely long life.

MERCHANDISE RETURNSAll transportation charges must be prepaid. There will be a minimum handling charge of 20 percent. Product ordered in error must be re-turned within 10 days of the purchase date and have authorization from Deepfreeze Refrigerants Inc.. Product may not be returned after 30 days for any other reason other than defective. All transportation charges must be prepaid.
