PRISM m e m b r a n e sys t ems use propr ie tary m e m b r a n e separa t ion technology to selectively separa te air to recover ni t rogen for use in a b road range of industr ies , including tnerttng, purging, shrouding, a t m o s p h e r e control, a n d sparglng.

The b rochu re descr ibes how the sys t ems work and their benefits, tnclud/ng mt rogen cost sav/ngs, operat ional flex/btl/ty a n d reliability, low matntenAnce, a n d ease of tnstal]ation.

The key componen t of the sys tem is the PRISM Alpha Membrane Module. Each module conta ins t h o u s a n d s of hollow fibre m e m b r a n e s which allow the oxygen, water vapour, and ca rbon d/ox/de in compressed air to be selectively removed resul t ing in a nl t rogen-r ich p roduc t s t ream. By adjus t ing the alr flow rate th rough the m e m b r a n e module, d/fferent ni trogen purif ies and flow ra tes can be produced.
