Dear Prospective Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in our Dunia Young Business Leaders Program, Summer 2016. We are excited that you have decided to apply for the program.

In order to ensure that your application materials are complete and to speed up our review process, we strongly encourage you to allow your recommender ample time to prepare your letters prior to our April 15th, 2016 deadline.

Your complete application will include the Application Form, your Essay Questions, GRE scores, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. (whichever completed), transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended, and three letters of recommendation.

Please ensure to review your submission against the checklist on the application form.

Please note that you need to submit two letters of recommendation from your current teachers/professors. The third letter of recommendation should be from your counselor.

Email your complete application form to [email protected]. Note that transcripts and letters of recommendation must come directly from the school and the recommender and should be sent to [email protected].

The deadline for receipt of all application materials is April 15 , 2016. Only complete applications will be considered for review as of this date. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Application materials will be reviewed starting February through April. Invitations for personal interviews are made by e-mail starting April.

Please note that to apply for the summer internship program at Dunia Finance LLC, applicants must be either Junior/Senior at a High School entering Grade 11 or 12 or Freshman/Sophomore student entering 1 / 2 year of college in an undergraduate program at a university.

I understand that he/she will participate in classroom activities, course related activities in Dubai Outsource Zone premises of Dunia Finance LLC and also course related activities elsewhere.

In case of non-adherence to these norms, dunia can disallow my child/ward from attending any further training session.

Medical Certification. Information and Consent for Medical Treatment

I certify that my child/ward has no medical condition, allergy or other special dietary need that subject him/her to injury as a result of his/her participation in the program. I have provided any necessary information about any pertinent medical condition, allergy, or special dietary need on the attached medical information sheet.

I understand that Dunia Finance LLC does not provide medical insurance to my child/ward. I certify that I have adequate medical insurance to pay for any medical services that may be required while he/she is participating in the activity. I have provided all the necessary medical insurance information on the attached medical information sheet.

In the event that my child/ward requires medical care, including surgery or administration of drugs, blood or anesthetic and I cannot be reached, I authorize an employee of Dunia Finance LLC to obtain for my child/ward such medical services as deemed necessary. I understand and agree that Dunia Finance LLC and its employees shall have no liability for any injury or damage that might arise out of or in connection with such authorized emergency medical treatment, except for any injury or damage caused by the sole negligence of any employee of Dunia Finance LLC.

Waiver and Release

I acknowledge that my child/ward‘s participation in the activity is voluntary. In consideration of my child/ward being permitted to participate in the activity, I agree to assume all risks and responsibilities surrounding my child/ward’s participation in the activity, transportation to and form the activity, and hereby release, waive, forever discharge Dunia Finance LLC, its employees, shareholders, assigns, agents, representatives, from and against any and all liability for any harm, injury, damage, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, costs and expenses of any nature which I, my spouse or my child/ward may have, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including but not limited to death, that may be sustained by him/her or by any property belonging to him/her excepts to the extent caused by the sole negligence of Dunia Finance LLC.

I have signed the Waiver and Release in full recognition and appreciation of the dangers, hazards, and risks of the activities. In signing this release , I acknowledge and represent that I fully informed myself of the content of this release, that I have reviewed it and understand what it means, and that I sign this document freely. No oral representations, statements, or inducements, apart from the foregoing written statement, have been made. I understand that Dunia Finance LLC does not require my child/ward to participate in the program, but I want him/her to do so, despite the possible dangers and risks and despite this Release.

I further agree that this Release shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE.

Terms & Conditions: Dunia Young Business Leaders program is a three (3) week program. Candidates applying for this program will need to submit an application and will be required to go through a selection process. Completion of this application does not guarantee selection, which will be at the sole discretion of dunia. A candidate selected to attend the program will be required to attend all the sessions for the complete duration of the program. Selected candidates who fail to attend the program or do not attend all sessions of the program will not be awarded a completion certificate. This certificate is a certificate of participation, and not a degree or an accredited program. Each candidate must provide a valid passport or Khulasat Khaid (for UAE Nationals), valid residence visa (for expatriates). Candidates must also have a valid medical insurance coverage under an insurance provider with coverage in the UAE. UAE nationals must have a valid health card issued by the Department of Health and Medical Services. Selected candidates must provide copies of the above mentioned documents and any other documentation and release forms, as dunia may specify from time to time, prior to the commencement of the program. Selected candidates who fail to provide any of the above mentioned documentation prior to the commencement of the program will not be allowed to participate in the program. Candidates under the age of 21 years must get the application and all other forms signed by their lawful guardian. Each candidate must verify beforehand that the program is suitable for his/her requirements and ensure the necessary level of competence required to achieve the objectives of this program. Copyrights in the entire program content vest with dunia. No part of the training material may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopy, recording, or otherwise without prior written permission of dunia. All decisions relating to the program will be made at the sole discretion of dunia, and dunia reserves the right to modify, cancel, change or alter the program, its contents, duration, dates, speakers, etc. at any time at its sole discretion, with no obligation on its part to anyone. In case unforeseen circumstances require us to cancel the program, selected candidates will be sent a prior intimation.
