Long Island reached the 7 million fan mark faster than any other team in league history despite having begun play in the ALPB’s third year of existence (2000). Saturday’s crowd of 7,186 was the first past -capacity crowd of the season and league-record 664th sold out crowd all-time. The Ducks have led the league in attendance 14 times in their first 17 seasons. Ducks vs. Barnstormers: Tonight marks the fifth meeting of the season as well as the 240th all-time meeting between the Ducks and Barnstormers. The Ducks lead the all-time series 120-119, but the Barnstormers have a 66-57 advantage at Clipper Magazine Stadium. Lancaster leads the 2017 season series four games to one, with four out of five games thus far taking place on Long Island. The Colossus of Krauss: Marc Krauss hit a solo home run in the eighth inning of Friday’s loss, and has now homered in three of his last four games played. The infielder has reached base safely in 11 consecutive games, earning a hit in 10 of them, including seven straight. During the streak, he is batting .488 (14-for-36) with four doubles, three homers, eight RBI, nine runs and seven walks. The former big leaguer picked up his eighth two-hit game and 10th multi-hit contest of 2017 in Thursday’s 3-1 victory over the Somerset Patriots. Oh, Henry!: Long Island reliever Henry Hirsch threw two scoreless innings in Friday night’s ballgame, and has now worked 4.1 scoreless innings from the bull- pen on this road trip. However, the right-hander allowed three walks and two hits in his outing against the Barnstormers, but rolled a double play and stranded four runners on base to preserve the scoreless outing in long relief. Glue Guy: In two games since returning from a stomach issue earlier this week, Elmer Reyes has become an on-base machine at the top of the Ducks lineup. In nine plate appearances over the last two games, Reyes has reached safely seven times (4 hits, 3 walks) and has scored a run and collected an RBI. In just these two games, Reyes’ batting average for the month of June has jumped from .214 to .271, and his season batting line has skyrocketed from .278/.306/.347 to .291/.328/.357. Power Surge: The Long Island Ducks have hit five home runs in the four games on the current road trip, and have nine home runs in six games since last Satur- day. Leading the charge have been Angelo Songco and Marc Krauss who have three round-trippers each, while Lew Ford, Alex Burg, and Dan Lyons have got in on the fun with one home run apiece. 6:30 p.m. | Clipper Magazine Stadium (6,000) | Lancaster, Pa. NOTABLE NUGGETS

LAST TIME OUT: Dennis O’Grady allowed one run in five innings on Sunday afternoon at Bethpage Ballpark against the Bridgeport Bluefish. The right-hander effectively scattered four hits, and allowed the only run of the afternoon in the fifth when Andrew Lambo tripled and scored on a wild pitch. O’Grady left the game trailing 1-0, and got no decision after the Ducks rallied for five runs in the bottom of the sixth en route to victory. COME ON AND TAKE A FREE RIDE: O’Grady has proven himself of being a capable strikeout pitcher this season, whiffing 45 batters in 45.0 innings pitched as a starter and reliever, but walks have been a problem. The Ducks righty has issued 4.6 BB/9.0 IP this season, and only has one start in which he walked fewer than two batters. In his last two starts, O’Grady has walked seven and struck out 12 in 10.0 IP, while allowing only eight hits. High strikeout totals and limited hits have allowed O’Grady to still be successful despite the control struggles. LITTLE OF THIS, LITTLE OF THAT: O’Grady has spent the vast majority of his career as a reliever, but he does have starting experience. Of his 200 career games entering the 2017 season, 25 of them have been starts. He most recently made 14 starts out of 34 appearances in 2015 combined between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso. Prior to 2015, he had not started since making 11 starts in 2011, his first year of professional baseball.

PITCHER TIDBITS O’Grady was originally drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 34th round of

the 2011 amateur draft.

Played his high school baseball at Archbishop Molloy High School in

Queens and was a two-time All-City selection at second base and one time at pitcher.

Named the Queens Courier Player of the Year in 2006 and also collected

Baseball MVP honors at Archbishop Molloy that same season.

Played his collegiate baseball at Duke University and was named to the All-

ACC Academic Baseball Team in 2010 while making two ACC Academic Honor Roll appearances as well.

Was teammates with Ducks left-handed pitcher Eury De La Rosa during the

2015 season with Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso.
