Real-Time data acquisition (DAQ)using Accelerometer sensor

Abstract

Data acquisition is a process of sampling signals from real world

physical quantity and converting those samples into digital values

that can be processed by a microprocessor or a computer

e have proposed to build an accelerometer based DAQ system

which will gather the acceleration value in all ! coordinates ("# y#

$) and will display the same in %atlab based &' in real time

Data acquired in %atlab can be further used for analysis purpose

in di*erent applications li+e# studying the body dynamics of an

automobile# study of vibrations of di*erent industrial machines#

gathering the motion feedbac+ data of an autonomous robot etc
