Step 1: Head to your dashboard

Step 2: Select Access to LMS Admin’s View (Backend) - Recommended

Select this button

Step 3: You will be directed to Backend of the DSG-WPLMS

• This is the panel, where you can plan your lesson plan for your courses.

Tips• Always do a paper planning first, before you like to create course.• Do not start immediately. • Best approach to plan: Start of with Unit > Course, we will explain

in the next slide.

Step 4: What is Unit & What is Courses in DSG WPLMS

• In DSG WPLMS, it is advise to start planning with unit• A unit is a sub-set of a courses• For example:

Mathematics 1011. Mastery Challenge2. Name Shapes

This whole box is called a course.

This contains 1. The course title2. The course settings3. The course product4. Excerpt5. Discussion6. Metadata

This is called a unit.• Unit contain the learning contents• Plan out the unit, like you are planning a chapter of a

book• It is advise to start of from here, as later it will be

easy for you to cluster it into a section.

This is called a section.• A section is like a title of the chapter in a

book• A section can hold a number of units, in

order to understand Math 101

Step 5: Creating up a unit

• We will start of by creating a unit.• This is a panel view of all the unit• Let’s click on “Add New”

• Do study the unit form, before starting to make any entries.• Do take note of Linkages (on the left side bar). When you create a Linkage, give a

unique (related) name. This is because this will be related to the title of your course and for easy future reference, when you start to create a number of units.

• For current moment, we ignore Connect Assignment and Unit form first to get the basic done. • Okay, you are done. Or you can continue to create a couple more. Advise, do break down your units for effective

learning approach (pedagogy) • Do not forget to click publish too

• Now, we will consolidate all the units that we have create and put it into a course.

• Click on “All Course” and then “Add New”

Take note of the Linkage,Use the same name as you write in your unit.

Try to use this level, and not to add more.

You can also name based on country

• This is how we will create the course in steps:1. Add Section and type in the topic2. Next add unit3. If you need a quiz, you can add the quiz too, but, before that you have to create

the quiz.

• And, you can keep repeating by adding more units or open a new topic, by adding section

• You are almost done.

You can insert Udemy link, if you host on Udemy or other site.

We keep as minimal as possible.

• Click on the Permalink to check the course from the front end.

• Check and recheck again, make sure you do a check on your product price too.

• Once you are ready and confident, the put to live.

• DSG Team will verify one more time, before launching the portal contents.
